Wonderful experience
Guardian has been communicative, transparent, patient, understanding, proactive, and non-judgmental with me and my husband since we started this. Not only that but everyone seems pretty happy to do their jobs and it makes the experience so much better in my opinion. I hate that we’ve had to go this route at all but I’d much rather be going through it with Guardian than anyone else!

I am using Guardian litigation Groip to help consolidate credit card debt. They set up payments for 4 years. Its been three. Ive never missed a payment. Now they are calling me every week saying I may have to extend my payments longer or give them more money to pay off the debt. If it wasn't enough to begin. They should have said so.

Intro to company was deceiving in giving the "spill" by young man with true operation of the company. My fault for not reading the fine print. They have, however, begin to do their job.
Debt settling process, lengthy, expensive, and you have to be in default before negotiations begin... expect credit score hits.

Found my experience with this company - very misleading and unprofessional
Found my experience with this company to be extremely disappointing and frustrating. Not only did they fail to answer calls or respond promptly, but their professionalism was seriously lacking at every stage. After successfully collecting money from the debtor, they insisted that the creditor pay a hefty 23% commission, along with additional fees, which directly contradicted what was stated on their website. The attitude of their staff was shockingly poor, and the communication felt dismissive and unhelpful. It’s unsettling to be threatened by their team, especially when it appears there’s only one person managing everything. Overall, I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before using this debt collection agency. Beware—my experience was stressful and unpleasant, and I would never recommend their services to others.
Additionally, when we attempted to make a payment, we were confronted with a mandatory fee and warned that failure to comply would result in being marked as in default. The situation became even more concerning when the bank account details supplied did not align with official bank records—our system immediately flagged them as incorrect. Despite multiple attempts to seek clarification by phone, we received no response. To make matters worse, any delay in payment would incur an extra 2% charge, which appeared to be yet another way for the company to profit. Altogether, these experiences seriously undermine confidence in the company's professionalism and reliability, leaving the entire process feeling highly questionable and suspect.
I got the name of the one team name Ms Mano and she could never given an explanation withe the misleading information given in the web site. I will be taking this issue with the Commerce commission to report business practices that threaten clients, violate consumer rights and breach fair trading laws

We do not collect debts on behalf of creditors, we do not require creditors to pay us a 23% fee, and we do not charge a 23% fee or add separate fees on top of our contingency-based fees in the manner described in your post.
