Poor products & Non existent Customer Service
I have used the Green Spark Plug Company for many years, ever since their only presence was a small stand at autojumbles around the country. Sadly, the massive expansion in recent years has not improved product quality or customer service.
I started using The GSPC's "Remax" ignition coils back in 2018 or thereabouts & have used them on all my cars since. I had found them to be a good quality alternative to unknown make Chinese ones. However, I now have good reason to regret this decision. In the last 2 months, I have had 2 of these coils fail instantaneously within less than 500 miles of having been fitted. They fail so fast it is like turning a switch off. The first one I put down to bad luck, but when a second went in exactly the same way on a different car I realised there was obviously a manufacturing issue. I have repeatedly tried to contact The Green Spark Plug Co. I was not looking for a refund, but thought that as these coils are marketed by them as a quality alternative, I thought they would be interested to hear my story. I emailed them 3 times, each time, I explained the circumstances of the failure & explained I wasn't looking for a refund & on all three occasions I haven't even received the courtesy of a reply.
This is obviously a company who have taken their eye off the ball! Their "Quality coils are less reliable than the Chinese competition & their customer service is absolutely NON EXISTANT!
It is a real shame that a previously good company has let their standards slip so far.
