Thought it was a decent enough service, around 4 stars if you specifically want US news aggregator. Although because I'm from a country in Europe, I do notice it had a lot more errors in more European stories. For that more around 2.5 stars. I am mainly giving it 5 stars for the excellent customer service as the e-mail that was supposed to inform me my got into my spam, making me miss that. Given I am having financial issues at the time, they refunded everything.

I love Ground News, amazing app, wide range of news stories, customisation on what news you want to follow is amazing, insight behind news stories is great. highly recommend Ground New to everyone!

This service provides a supposedly unbiased approach to news. However, in practice, it doesn't achieve this goal. Sure, you get both left- and right-leaning news sources, but when the entirety of the news is as corrupt as it is, seeing both sides of the corruption doesn't get you any closer to the truth. But that is what Ground News would have you believe. Its "blindspot" feature shows you propaganda from the other side on order to balance out the propaganda from your own side, and its front page is filled with propaganda from every side.

I was hoping to get good, reliable news from Ground News, but instead, it’s filled with the same stuff you find on social media and forums. It’s just endless politics, propaganda, pessimism, and an overall blemish to my day. You cannot use this service to hear about the news that matters to you, only the popular news which you cannot escape. This service is not worth the subscription. Save your time and your money. Go enjoy life and use your mind for something productive. That is certainly what I’ll be doing!

The interface is horrific, the website is a crime against design and all it really does that other sites don't is tell you the political orientation of the news. You still can't read articles without subscriptions and there's that many clicks to go through it's like fighting the cast of west side story.

It's a chore, it's clumsy, it obscures everything useful I have NO idea why it gets raved about it is a garbage ap.

Quick edit, the guys behind the scenes are really cool and open to suggestions. I was also rather annoyed when I wrote this review. It still stands, but it's a good idea that needs more polish.

I paid for the premium and was never given that and it seems to be very left-sided instead of left right and center on all topics. It’s very hard to find information that I’m interested in. Very disappointing.

Nick Shirley exposed this Ground News channel, they have heavily edited and taken their interview out of context. They claim that they "show all sides" but they removed a large portion of their interview and took out context to defame someone. They are fraudulent in their claims and do not represent the full story. I was a long time subscriber and felt they were neutral but now this recent revelation has left a lot of questions for the rest of their works. Why would they intentionally remove parts of the interview and clip them into misleading ways? What a shame, I trusted Ground News.

Provides light on fake news elements for those less capable of defining fact from bs.

I would give even more stars if I could! This app is not only super affordable but it’s super easy to use. It’s keeps things simple and allows me to separate the facts from the bias. Not only is it an amazing and affordable app but the people behind it are the absolute best with the best mission of making sure people are correctly educated. This platform is not only refreshing but revolutionary and much needed in a world of misinformation, fake news, social media madness, and partisan news. It is my consistent go-to for news and has truly given me a more rounded view of world events. Never before has there been such a desperate need for a tool that can help to spotlight the spectrum of news biases we are subjected to on a daily basis. Ground News gives you the ability to access viewpoints from both the left and right perspective and exposes the level of factuality of news articles. Thank you for freeing us from our echo chambers.

Ground News has been the only news network I've been able to trust. Along with how trustworthy the news they give is their team is amazing, they’ve gone above and beyond for me and I'm sure others too!

My experience with Ground News has been quite fantastic. The news is presented in a way that is easy to navigate, with clear bias indication and other information prominently displayed. The vantage plan has been very useful in keeping me up to date without allowing myself to bias to one side or the other.
Importantly, I believe that Ground News is putting a growing market pressure on journalists to be unbiased and factual, because if they don't have those ratings, we can simply click a single option, and they lose that traffic. This is incredibly powerful, and over time it may help reign in sensationalism and other distortions.
I would like to see the blindspot indicator be a bit more useful to those of us who are independent and centrists, though. Seeing what blindspots conservatives or liberals have is interesting, but it doesn't help improve my own understanding all that much.
All in all, I think the service is great, and I hope that they continue to be fantastic.

It is my constant go-to for news. Never before have Americans had more need for a tool that can help decipher truth from fiction. Ground News gives you that ability with information from the left and right.

After subscribing I noticed the "factuality" not working. It said to upgrade to PRO for it to work, which I did. No result. A support ticket said to upgrade to premium or vantage,
I went back to the site to screenshot where it says PRO, but now it says to upgrade to premium.
Very suspicious and I may have to cancel.

Ground News is very much needed with the major news sources skewed (in both left and right directions). I want to make up my own mind so it is necessary for a service like Ground News to see where the data is coming from.

Absolutely amazing source of news, but what's really special about it is that it allows you to evaluate biases of political sides and see things from many angles!I think schools and businesses should buy it and provide it to their students/employees, media literacy should be top priority in today's world!!!

Clean, Facts first, detailed interface, Canadian Made (ELBOWS UP🇨🇦!!), sorts bias like a Super Frighter Through the sea of lies and extremes.

This is the only place where a Moderate or a Centrist can enjoy his life without feeling like society's whipping boy.

The service so far has been excellent and as advertised. Definitely would recommend to others. Five stars!!!
