My experience with GR Law has been outstanding from start to finish. To begin with I am British born and I got married in India 2012, and was quite aware of the changes and requirements in the Immigration rules and how hard it had become to bring my wife over to the UK. My wife and I are both qualified and had gone through the immigration rules in detail and knew what we had to prepare. I had begun to gather my evidence and had my goals set by reading the online documentation published on the UKBA website. Some months had passed and now I needed to prepare my application for the Spouse Visa.
I had searched very hard for someone to prepare my case for the Spouse Visa from India and check my documentation thoroughly. Initially me and my partner thought to give the case to someone from India and had visited many agencies and private firms. All seemed to lack in clarity and the advice given was contrary, also misleading at times to the rules published online. In addition to this one thing that was certain and clear to me and my wife that money was what all these people wanted.
We were left in an awkward position and I had returned back to the UK to continue with my job. After searching through many websites in the UK I had come across The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) which is responsible for regulating immigration advisers by ensuring they are fit and competent and act in the best interest of their clients.
This gave me and my wife a slight hope in finding someone that is regulated and that we can be sure that our process will be done correctly. I had shortlisted many firms and agencies but around 80% either had a language barrier or seemed vague in what they had to offer. I then came across GR Law and I came across some reviews which drew me in instantly. Apprehensive I gave them a call and my call was received by Mandeep who, when I posed the question what do you offer, I was given a very clear and precise plan with a detailed breakdown.
I was taken away by the depth of the first phone conversation and how my questions were answered matched with my research and instantly I knew Mandeep knew what she was talking about. Finally my wife and I thought we had found the right person who not only knew and understood our position but also was very up-to-date in her knowledge in the matter of immigration.
We arranged a meeting and I took my mother with me to meet Mandeep and Jodie for the first time. Both were very professional and very quickly a plan was drawn up and clear guidance was given. There was no pressure with regards to payments and time was given for me to think about the entire process.
When me and my mother returned home and discussed the matter with my father we decided to go ahead and make the payments to initiate my case for the Spouse visa for my wife. At each stage I was given simple instructions and carried them out with the full support of both Mandeep and Jodie. I was never left without support because Mandeep and Jodie both were fully aware of my case and in the absence of one, the other would aid me in my queries.
At times of frustration and hardship Mandeep and Jodie both gave me support and were there to listen and to solve my issues. They not only aided me completing my paper work but also eased the pressure mentally by giving me hope at times when things were difficult to obtain such as certain documentation.
Due to the hard work of both Mandeep and Jodie in preparing all of my documentation, my wife received her spouse visa in TEN WORKING DAYS. Their work was accurate, clear and organised for the immigration officer to see and they left no gap in my file.
I thank the team at GR LAW with special thanks to both Mandeep and Jodie in not only with preparing and submitting my file, but providing me with the right to a family life. I can now focus on my new family life and Again I thank both for their time and efforts. I would recommend Mandeep and Jodie to anyone who is going through any immigration tasks as their work is 100%.

The Head of the Immigration Department was educational and helpful from the 1st telephone conversation. She helped me understand the best options to submit to the UK Border Agency and worked with me each step of the way to get the application complete. She set realistic expectations for timelines, explained the UK laws and was there for me when obstacles were encountered that could have completely derailed our processes.

I would definitely recommend the firm as we had a very positive experience. The staff were incredibly helpful in managing complicated matters of law and a highly stressful time. They had a well thought, clear plan from the beginning of how to approach the case, thorough in how they planned and developed our evidence and extremely careful in their selection of the barrister that argued our appeal.
