Low quality shoes
Low quality shoes: The soles break extremely quickly.
On my newest pair both soles broke after only 2 days of wearing (less than 5km of walking)

Just purchased my 8th pair of Grisport…
Just purchased my 8th pair of Grisport shoes fantastic quality great fit and very hard wearing i also buy the Active black slip on for my nephews school shoes and he loves them also if there are any problems great customer care service very easy returns and great choices from walking, hiking, casual i highly recommend them and remember you get what you pay for.
Absolutely love my Walking Boots
Absolutely love my Walking Boots. Didn’t spend enough money to receive the free gift but they sent it anyway and was over the moon!
Finally, a hiking boot that doesn't dig into my ankles!
After testing the Grisport Reflex against high-spec offerings from Mountain Warehouse and Regatta, these were the clear winners. My biggest struggle with hiking boots is usually discomfort around the ankle—most brands tend to "dig in." However, the Grisport Reflex features thick memory foam padding around the collar that completely eliminates that pressure.
The stability is also impressive. Thanks to their specific heel support system, my foot felt incredibly secure with zero vertical movement or heel slip. It’s a "locked-in" feel that gives you a lot of confidence on the trail. Excellent boots and a great company to deal with—I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.
New Dartmoor Boots
Just opened my new Dartmoor Boots from Grisport and immediately impressed with how comfy they feel. Looking forward to giving them a proper test out on a ski trip to Switzerland this weekend.
"require no breaking in and are comfortable straight from the box"
I read the words from my review title on a leaflet contained with my order, with a degree of scepticism, but having half an hour earlier put on my new 'Grisport Tilbury Walking Shoes' indoors to start wearing them in - I have to say Grisport are correct - these well-made walking shoes fit like a glove and are so comfortable, that I would happily go for a five mile walk now in them. This backed up with easy on-line ordering and swift delivery via DPD. I am one happy walker.
Customer service. What customer service?
Still no reply to any of my complaints on their online form about the missing gift pack from my order. Grisport offer an inducement to buy, (Value pack worth £34) don't supply it and now ignore my queries when I ask about it. That’s pretty low customer service.
The missing items are not the main issue here, it’s the sales tactics and obvious disregard for a customer. At least have the good manners to respond to my messages and rectify the problem.
The order was a Christmas gift so wasn’t discovered until later but that’s no excuse to ignore my query. As it happens, when the package arrived, two friends scanned the Grisport catalogue and marked some shoes they would like to buy but based on my experience, have shopped elsewhere. That’s two lost sales because of the lack of customer service. Costly.
As regards the shoes I bought, I can’t comment yet, they look good but most things look good out of the box, it’s how they perform over time that matters. I’ll give it five or six months and post a product review later. Judging from some of the comments on here, longevity may be an issue but I’ll check for myself.
Note to Grisport: Behaving considerately towards customers and honouring your sales pitch is part of the buying process, it can even lead to repeat business. But not on this occasion.

Great Boots
Finally got my new walking boots after DPD delivery did their usual vanishing act and instead of delivering them sent them back.
The replacement pair were sent next day and are brilliant. Big thank you to Gavin Cole for his exceptional customer service and for sorting it out!
I brought a pair of Grisport Fuse…
I brought a pair of Grisport Fuse walking boots in the Summer. The order was dealt with very promptly and I was delighted with the boots and the additional free extras. (Socks, Laces and a boot bag). On first examination I thought all the items were of exceptional quality and value. I short time after using the boots I became aware that the inner lining was rucking over my toes on one of them and causing some discomfort. I contacted Grisport and they were extremely helpful. I returned the boots with the supplied freepost label and received by return a brand new pair. I have now used the boots for a few months in all weathers and they are excellent. I have recommended Grisport to friends and they have also been impressed. They will be my first choice when my current boots are warn out.
Great boots, great customer service
Great boots.
Great customer service - When a minor fault occurred with a lace eyelet withins as year of buying, one email got a reply within 24 hours providing free return, and completely new boots sent out shortly afterwards to replace.
Excellent boot
This is my 3rd or 4th pair of your walking boots, I do a lot of miles a year. Would not buy any other brand, comfortable from the first wear.
Grisport merino wool socks
I received some Grisport merino wool socks as a Christmas present, and having just worn them, am very impressed. They are warm, and light, and feel like they are hugging your feet! Will be great for our trip to Iceland in March. Excellent quality and great value for money.
Lady Glide Boots and Pack
Recently purchased Lady Glide Teal Waterproof Hiking Boot and accessory pack for my wife and she absolutely loves them. Very comfortable straight out of the box. Great company to deal with, everything arrived when expected.
Good shoes, price and delivery
Shoes were competitively priced with free delivery which was prompt. Bit disappointed though that the free 'gift pack' was suspended over Black Friday sales period especially when the discounted price continued afterwards
Really good quality
Really good quality, comfortable and great looking , what more can you ask for
An excellent experience
Excellent website, well-priced products, first class service. Unfortunately on this occasion I need to use the returns service as the item I bought was a gift that was a little too large. But I won’t hesitate to seek out Grisport footwear again in the future.
Great Experience
Easy to order, delivery on time. Very good quality comfortable shoes and great to get the socks and flask as part of the deal
Refund refused despite returned parcel…
In response I absolutely stand by my review, other customers have had trouble with this company’s customer service, they are very rude and can’t provide any evidence to suggest that they sent or didkt receive the one pair of boots in question, it seems their go to is to blame the customer. Air with caution and perhaps use a more reliable company with better customer service. The company requires me to send proof of sending the parcel despite saying that they have received the parcel. I have been more than gracious and accepted that human error happens. Despite my graciousness I was met with poor attitude and accusations. What they are requesting from me (proof of sending) is completely irrelevant given that they have accepted the parcel back and all items sent to me were returned. For some reason Griport think they are above the law that the sales of goods act, consumer rights act and consumer regulations. There is no provision in the consumer contracts regulation that allows a retailer to reject a valid return. They have tried to use their returns policy to reject a valid return but they have accepted the parcel and I used the company they supplied the postage label for in the package. Given that it is a pre paid label most Royal Mail Drop offs at the local shops do not have the facilities to weigh the parcel, they merely scan and put a parcel in the relevant bag to be collected by Royal Mail. I by providing the label you are putting your customers at a disadvantage despite using the company you advertise. It’s either that the company didn’t send out the item or they have misplaced part of the return. Your company have a lega responsibility to make sure your services are accessible to all inclusive of the disabled community, Royal Mail collected the parcel and it made its way back to your company safely. If your claiming that something is missing from the box and I am very clear that what you sent want returned then perhaps your issue is with your chosen shipping provider. I have had no choice but to complain to trading standards and will be doing a section 76.it truly is a shame the company can’t just accept their fault to save this having to be done.
Refund refused despite returned parcel being received - Future customer's please read the reviews as it seems a lot of other customers have had issues with the poor customer services.
I returned my full order using the prepaid Royal Mail return label provided by Grisport, and the parcel was collected from my door by a Royal Mail courier. Grisport have confirmed receipt of the returned parcel, yet refused to refund the full order, claiming one item was missing.
All items received were returned together in the same box. The parcel was handed directly to Royal Mail, and delivery to Grisport was completed. This is therefore not a case of non-return, but a discrepancy Grisport claim to have identified after the parcel was received.
Despite this, Grisport relied on internal stock records and their own returns policy to deny responsibility, attempting to place liability on the customer. They insisted that because I did not obtain a Post Office counter receipt showing the parcel weight — despite using their own return label and a Royal Mail collection service — the responsibility “passed back” to me.
I have a disability and used Royal Mail’s collection service as a reasonable adjustment. Grisport acknowledged this service does not affect return rights, yet still refused the refund.
The matter was handled inflexibly and without regard to consumer rights. I am now forced to pursue the issue through formal escalation rather than customer service.
I would strongly caution others to keep extensive proof when returning items, as Grisport appear willing to deny refunds even after confirming receipt of returned parcels.

Ladies Glide Walking Boot - comfortable from the start
My original choice of hiking boot was OOS so I changed to the Ladies Glide Hiking Boot.
The process was simple from start to finish with excellent communication and I am delighted with my purchase!
I have had trouble with plantar fasciitis and my Achilles and these are just the job providing comfort from the very first walk. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to take many more walks in them…
