Absolutely awful. I wad bullied, abused, threatened ion a daily basis. Reporting it often ended up with no action taken. Grindr is allowing not just bad behaviour, but criminal behaviour. I had to rep... See more

Constant bot profiles with links to…
Constant bot profiles with links to external sites make this app unusable. I report these profiles/posts as fast as I receive them. They are rarely removed. It makes a joke of what used to a popular app.
Horrible
Had a subscription for years finally gone horrible app never works right and customer service is horrible they do nothing.
Finally joined as a member as was sick…
Finally joined as a member as was sick of totally irrelevant ads being constantly bombarded at me , that sorted now, but anything else you want to view like " who viewed you " or " who taps you " they want you to pay more , no chance, get lots of spam, suppose to show profiles close to you but not always the case, they can be hundreds of miles away, all in all not worth paying for

I have been banned for doing Grindr’s job with users harbouring watermelon logo or eating watermelon in profile picture in order to prevent been moderated
Grindr openly defends users supporting Palestinian cause and Hamas terrorist organisation and making easier for homophobic and antisemitic users to target Jewish users
When you respond Adly Eva Anthony wich are probably all left wing bann your account
Disgusting number of fake profiles and
Disgusting number of fake profiles and bots.
Inability to view profiles closest to you without having profiles from miles away.
Of course, I am on the free app, but the membership fees are ridiculously unaffordable.
I understand why this happens, it is to force those on the free app to join membership.
Hardly worth the time or effort. Disgusting number of BOTS and fake profiles.
You give me a choice of a date on this review. It is everyday.
Don't wate your time
It's a shame you cannot give a minus score. It's what it deserves. Fake profiles, persistent ads which increase in length, and costly membership. Only yesterday an ad for another online gambling company which when it had played through, I was not able to click off until I had tried 13 times. This company really should be banned in the UK and I for one have reported it to the trading authorities.
Greed strikes again
Well good old grindr has removed ANOTHER feature from it's "free" app. It used to be that you could "explore" pretty much anywhere in the world and would have one free chance to contact someone (per day) and could look at all the profiles to see if anything interested you. NOPE...you have to pay for that now. I have no problem with someone making money, but refuse to pay grindr a penny. I'm gay and more and more trans and women are online now, neither of which I have an interest in. Don't really have a problem with the trans but see no reason women should be on a gay website. The vast majority of "people" that contact you are fake accounts. The ads will interrupt right in the middle of a conversation. And you can read about being banned by grindr by hundreds of people for no reason at all. I have no intention of paying money to be bombarded by fake accounts, women, or losing my money because someone at grindr had a bad day. I DO pay for other sites that have a bit better control over their clientele. There was a very good chatroom years ago called Gay.com. I met quite a few very nice people on that site until some corporation took it over and destroyed it. It was one of the most popular sites out there and now it's gone because of greed. I think grindr is headed in the same direction.
My account was randomly banned
My account was randomly banned, no explanation, no warning nothing. I have tried to appeal this over six times and have had no response in as many months whatsoever. They said initially "your request is being reviewed" but that was over half a year ago and they've made no attempt to contact me whatsoever even after several chasers.
I have never violated any terms of service and they don't even have the decency to follow up properly.

The adverts are constant very long and sustained. Always the same add for a game I can’t bare. It’s not tolerable

This app is just unusable in its basic free version. Constant u relenting ads and pop.ups. the paid for version has more features but is filled with multiple fake.profiles. I've complained and not had a response but have cancelled my subscription and will not use even the free version
It's a nice idea
It's a nice idea, but with the amount of scammers, catfishers . Fake profiles, same message trying to drag you to other sites. It makes it a totally unpleasant experience. When you get past them, the only ones that will talk to. You are the people in Dubai or Africa or somewhere else. I want to take care of you. I want to get your WhatsApp number.
In the four years, i've been on grindr, that one thing creepy guy that I met
It's quite obvious. The only thing, what do they care about it? It's being the world's largest dating site.
Well, they've accomplished 2 goals. The largest and the worst
Sad that this is the only locationbased…
Sad that this is the only locationbased &open profile application for queer people, because it’s a really bad one. Chats are always buggy, taps are always buggy & now this.. I always get 1 week of Gold before a trip so I can chat with people from that city, but they limited it and made it a Unlimited feature.. I’m absolutely not paying that much more money for this shitty app. Get more experienced people on your development team, thank you.
Grindr becomes major catfishing site
Grindr used to be a site for hook ups and then it became a fairly decent dating site. Now it is overrun by fake profiles users who steal other peoples photographs and catfish other users. Grindr makes a little effort to secure it site and double check images and profiles before allowing people on the site. Even when you try to review or report a user Grindr makes it so difficult to report them that you just give up. This site needs to be investigated by the FCC to see if it is even conjuring up some of this just to keep users paying 3999 a month. I will not be doing any further until they can clean up their
Gribdr/apple rip off
I bought boot for 7.99 for 1 hour it did not work so I paid again not for first time light I add
I send a refund request and told I was not getting one even when it says I law I’m
Entitled as per this Yes, if a purchased chat program is faulty and doesn't work, you are likely entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content (like software) must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it's faulty, you have the right to a repair or replacement, and if that's not possible or doesn't happen within a reasonable time, you can get a refund. Why are we allowing these big companies to rip us if and we do nothing I think I will send in’s request to see how many people have complained. This I will send under freedom of information act 2000
These big company’s need putting I. There place and stop selling faults software and not giving refunds
Worst app ever with fake / scam /…
Worst app ever with fake / scam / catfish profiles
I paid for a year and the features were reduced after 6 months of it
I paid almost a 100€ in February 26’ for the Xtra features. And here after 6 months the app decides that service I had before now belong in the upper tier Unlimited. It would be one thing if they changed it after my year subscription was up. But this requires lots of hutspa and classic corporate greed. I recommend never to pay them a year subscription for anything because obviously they don’t keep their word. And now since it’s more than 90 days I can’t even demand a refund from Apple. I sent email to Grindr support and not even an answer from them. Really I recommend to stay away and not give them a dime of your money. This is dishonest way to run a business. Even if they are probably protected legally in the small letters of a very long TOS document I probably agreed to without reading, like everybody does. Learnt my lesson.
Grindr
Grindr, they block users' profiles for absolutely no reason and without foundation, and then the application's support does not take any action on the objections raised, but simply leaves the profile blocked and that's it!
Extremely incorrect and unprofessional attitude from the administration of this application.
Obviously they are working on the issue of driving away long-time users...!
It got worse and worse and worse every…
It got worse and worse and worse at every update it's a new nightmare and they take away something or change something worsening it and with no sense at all.
It's impossible to use now and full advertisements shown in the most in opportune moments it's time to change chat at find another one.
Close to unusable anymore
Close to unusable anymore, every update makes it worse. Can't actually access profiles directly anymore, can't see stats, taps or anything unless you pay. What's the alternative - someone needs to liberate the gay community from Grindr-to-a-halt
