Little I knew when I clicked the "buy" button that I would have to deal with the single worst experience I’ve ever had buying something online.

Buying a laptop from this crowd through refurbed.ie was a disaster from day one. It started with them sending the wrong tracking code, and when the laptop finally showed up, it wasn’t even the spec or conditions they advertised.

When I tried to get it sorted, the real mess began. It felt like they intentionally dragged their feet on the return until the Christmas holidays kicked in just to stall the whole thing. I spent months stuck in a loop of contradictory messages and constant back-and-forth.

I eventually got my refund, but the amount of stress and mental energy it took to get my own money back was a joke. What should have been a simple week purchase and return turned into a months long headache.

If you value your time and your peace of mind, do yourself a favour and shop somewhere else. It’s just not worth the hassle.

My reconditioned Optiplex 3020 finally died after almost 6 years and a couple of new hard drives...I found a replacement (slight upgrade to an Optiplex 3050!) on Backmarket which was from GreenIT for a really great price and it arrived the day after I ordered it! It's in perfect condition and although it came loaded with Windows 10 Pro I'm using it with Linux mint instead. Absolutely delighted with my new computer!

I was unsure about buying a reconditioned laptop but I wouldn't think twice after my experience with green it. Fast delivery,well packaged and after having an issue 12months later the problem was sorted very professionally, laptop collected from the door and returned in a few days with a new battery at no cost to me. Highly recommend dealing with Michael and team. 10 out of 10

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Green IT.
I was very happy to support the green economy and this company and purchased a reconditioned laptop for use in my business. That laptop failed to start after a few weeks and to be fair they replaced it with a similar model immediately. The second machine's battery completely failed after 11 months. I contacted and spoke with several individuals who promised to revert with a plan -unfortunately most of my follow up calls were not returned. After successive unanswered calls, I called to their premises to be told by a lady that I should have asked for a new battery(news to me as I had been told they no longer dealt with this type of laptop), that any financial recompense would not be possible as the battery was not covered by the warranty. She admitted their communication was unacceptable. 6 weeks trying to get answers and this outcome... disrespectful of my time and money and a very shoddy approach to customer service, communication and product quality. Avoid if you value your time and money.
However, thank you to a very helpful professional there (Adris-hope i got this name right)-his senior colleagues could learn a lot from him.

I purchased two reconditioned iPads as Christmas gifts. No issues whatsoever. The website is easy to use, got a great price, and delivery was the next day. Items were packaged wel,l and they are immaculate. Thanks so much.

Bought a refubed Dell Laptop for work and I am not going to lie I was 50/50 on how it was going to go but the customer service prior to buying the device was amazing.

Got the laptop and it is perfect even the battery is perfect fully charged its giving me 12 hours life.

One issue I did have was the power block on the charger was making an arching noise when using the laptop while on charge. I emailed the customer care team on Tuesday with a video of the power block making the noise and Thursday lunch time DPD delivered a new charger cable FREE. (I was expecting this to be a massive pain to resolve but nope super easy)

I highly recommend these guys and girls.

I ordered a refurbed Dell Latitude 5420. It really is an excellent machine - like new, a bargain. Also, it arrived really quickly. I'm impressed.

Super company to deal with, I had an issue with a refurbished laptop that was within warranty, they collected it promptly for repair, unfortunately it still wasn’t working properly upon return. When I notified them of this they immediately collected it again and returned it in perfect working order.

Fantastic service. Delivered in 2 days and couldn't be happier with the quality of the laptop. Definitely would recommend.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but the customer service from GreenIT via Refurbed has been so good, I had to share my experience.
When I ordered my Lenovo Thinkpad, there was a delay with the delivery (I think this was more of a Refurbed issue). I reached out to GreenIT, and Lisa was amazing. She sorted everything out and made sure the laptop was delivered the very next day, just in time before I left the country, such a relief since I work online.
Then, last week, I had a small issue with the laptop. I contacted GreenIT again, and Michael couldn’t have been more helpful. He arranged for DPD to collect the laptop, and in just a few days, it was returned to me fully repaired, along with a detailed email explaining what was fixed.
It’s so rare to find customer service this good nowadays. Thank you.

We just bought a dell computer from Green IT. It was an amazingly reasonable price and it's perfect. We are delighted with it. It was delivered within 24hour and no delivery charge. What an amazing company. Thank you Green IT

I bought a Dell Latitude 5400 with a Core i5-8265U in September. Delivery was speedy and efficient. I ordered on Monday and had it delivered by Wednesday as promised. The whole process of dealing with Green It was hassle free from start to finish. The laptop surpassed my expectations - excellent condition, performs well and affordable. Thank you!

I purchased a laptop from GreenIT back in April. I hadn't used it too much. The speaker was progressively getting more & more rattley. I contacted GreenIT only last week, via email. I got a call back, a pick up was arranged for my laptop and it was delivered back to me, by courier, today. Cannot fault their customer service!!!

Just perfect service ,had some issues with second hand pc purchased, and those were handled in every positive way possible, strongly recommend for everyone who is looking for 100% service, big thanks to Francis and those involved

Bought a Dell Optiplex that had updating issues from Day 1. Notified Green IT and was told it was Windows fault. Got the PC looked at a year later by a third party who said it's definitely the hardware and had to replace it. Green IT said sorry it's over a year we can't do anything for you. Even though I had liaised with them less than a month after I got the PC and I was fobbed off. Not a great experience. Wouldn't recommend

Wonderful company bought a desktop and it arrived in 2 days then decided to buy a monitor and same fast service
Each item was so well packed I had trouble getting the items out
I now have a new system working 💯 and a fraction of the cost of other retailers
I would 💯 recommend this company to anyone and will be using there service in the future

Having had some issues with a laptop order, GreenIT resolved the 1st one immediately, there was an ongoing problem that I am happy to report is now being looked after, I will update when issue is resolved, but thanks goes out to Karen for the contact and offer of resolution, it really is appreciated.

Great Irish company! I bought a refurbished laptop which came with very little signs of wear and arrived by courier in 4 days. I was able to ask questions over the phone before I bought it too with no delays.

My laptop was 229€, a Lenovo ThinkPad, and it has a 118GB SSD hard drive, 7th gen Intel core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 13.3in screen. Just checked and they're not all gone yet it seems.

It's thin and looks just as cool as having a MacBook, in case the idea of buying a used Lenovo ThinkPad is throwing you off - it's not a brick at all! :))

I'd recommend this laptop in particular to any parents sending their children to college soon or other students like me, if you can't afford a laptop for €1000 but need to get one that works well and looks the part in front of others.

All in all it is an ideal company to deal with, if I need anything else I am returning here for sure and I could recommend it to anyone!
