I googled a black dline item, was linked to a greendozer page with a picture of the black dline item I wanted, and so I bought it. Once the order arrived however, I was disappointed to find a stainless steel version instead of a black one. So I contacted customer service, only to have someone try to turn the issue on me by say that the photo isn’t actually of the black item (though it clearly is!), but quote “now it may look black, especially on the small picture in the order confirmation (because it is black… the same black that was displayed in the big picture of the item on their webpage…), but a darken photo of stainless steel will very quickly do that”. The person’s “customer service” would be laughable (see profile picture), if it wasn’t completely wasting my time. Someone thinks they can convince me into being colourblind… This kind of behaviour even the gods contend in vain…

We're sorry to hear you feel this way, none of our correspondence was ment to be insulting in any way.
I agreed immediately that the picture was dark, which made it look black, and since no colour was specifically stated in the headline of the product, at the time of order (although it was written in the description that it was brushed stainless steel), we arranged with our supplier that you could hand in the item at any of their stores, and they will take care of the return to central warehouse so you can get a full refund.
None of what we've written has been false though. A darkened photo of something grey like stainless steel can easily look black, but I invite you again, as well as any reader of this review, to do a google search of the image to see that this specific image is only used for the stainless steel model. It is not any of the pictures d line uses for their black version.
