Green.com.au installs Solar, Solar Batteries, Heat Pumps, EV Chargers (and much more!) helping Aussies save money and the environment. In a world clouded by the shadows of economic crises and climate change, it’s easy to believe that making a positive impact with your actions is like holding up an umbrella in a meteor shower. We get it, but fear not! The shining light of change is easier to harness than you might think. Enter solar, the not-so-secret-weapon to help you see the end of financial and environmental doom and gloom. And no, we’re not talking about pointing your buns to the sun, so keep your pants on and take of that foil hat. Adding solar to your roof, harnessing renewable energy, saving on your energy bill and doing your bit for the planet might all sound like coo-coo talk if you’re not on the train to transformation, but you can be certain that even the smallest change will generate positive impact. You don’t need to live of the land, start hugging trees or walking around without your shoes on - although going green sure is a step in the right direction for our planet and your pockets. What does it mean to ‘Go Green’? Well, it’s not about watching along as the world drives you crazy; it’s taking power into your own hands and switching on the light for a brighter future. So, ditch the salt lamps, don’t worry about charging your crystals and join 1 in 3 Aussie households, as we lead the charge and make a change for good. Maybe Solar's not so crazy after all. The time is now, Australia... Just go Green.

Overall not the best of experiences.
Overall not the best of experiences.
Made an initial deposit of $500 on 26th March 2025, as the State and Federal governments had indicated they would subsidize a Battery purchase upto $5000 for a standard system. This was due to start around 1st July 2025.
Green.com.au was slow to get their registration completed in WA so could not get started till August 2025 for whatever reasons.
I was then informed in September that they could not install a standard system (10.1Kw) as they could not get supplies of that size, so would instead install a 13.3Kw system. This was to my advantage at no extra cost. Great decision by the company, well done.
Installation was delayed until January 2026. Once started it became apparent that Green.com.au had sublet the installation to a third party. This company set up an initial time to install the system but did not front that day only informing me after the set time. They arranged a second installation time but did not arrive on time. I rang 2 hours after the time and they said they would get there later that afternoon. They did arrive but could not complete the installation, indicating they would return another day. This occurred several days later and was completed.
Green.com.au was informed the work was completed and they finished their paperwork and sent their final bill as originally indicated. Problem was the system was not connected correctly.
After 3 days i contacted Green.com.au and explained that the battery was not charging. This was on a Friday afternoon, unfortunately a long weekend and it was not until the following Tuesday that contact was made. They were able to guide me through the process of checking if all switches were turned ON etc. After 4 sets of emails, multiple photographs we got the system working. Final payment was made 30th Jan 2026.
System is working very well, the App to check what is happening is very good.
Overall frustrated with the experience, 10 months to complete, given i got in early, 2 months before the installation subsidy scheme could start in WA.

Excellent company
They were great to deal with, from beginning to end. They worked to meet our personal requirements , and were always straightforward. We got a great deal, no hidden costs. Their installer is top notch, and took the time to talk me through best ways to get the most of it. I am a very happy customer. I would definitely recommend them!

Your No-Nonsense Solar Partner
Green has been a no-frills no-nonsense partner through this whole journey of getting solar, from first enquiry (Jun 2025) to completing quote (Jul) to installation (Nov) and activation (Dec) to final qualification to export to the grid and join Green's Virtual Power Plant (Feb 2026). It hasn't been fast, but I do believe most of the delays were down to supply chain issues for batteries following the Federal rebate and slow-acting power retailers certifying the final works. It hasn't been perfect support, and Green needed a lot of prodding and a bit of being a squeaky wheel to ultimately get there - I have no doubt I would not have reached the finish line without regular and informed follow-ups with both Green and other providers.
But the key thing is this: Green always responded to every email and always answered every phone call, before AND after the installation; and also called me in the lead up to the installation to make sure I was aware of everything that was about to happen. I've read plenty of horror stories where the solar provider vanishes into the night as soon as they're paid - green is not like that. And they're large and professional enough that I have confidence they'll be around for plenty of time to come if I have future issues.
Green has been able to finally get to a completed and exporting system, and has dotted their i's and crossed their t's to complete the overall installation to both my satisfaction and theirs (to join their own VPP). Their short-list of agreeable solar and battery products was helpful in narrowing down my search range. Their pre-prepared Owners Manual is comprehensive and includes my specific serial numbers and instructions for my specific installation. And they were able to sort out the annoying bureaucracy behind the scenes that I know trips up so many solar installations.
All this means we've been running solar for three months, and have now started exporting for the past week. It took longer than expected, but I'm very satisfied with the final outcome. +1 recommend for Green.com

The embodiment of professionalism
I first was in touch with Green.com.au in June 2025, they were one of three quotes received. Not the lowest but when I decided to install batteries I only went to Green. Their professionalism was the reason we went back to them.
We were pleased with the shorter time to instal date from that advised initially when ordered and upgraded to a slightly larger system due to stock availability.
We were extremely happy with the electrical installation team, Matt was very professional and helpful in the app setup. The team at Green.com.au were always very helpful during the process too.
We were so pleased with the outcome we had recommended Green.com.au to one of our neighbors, they now await their installation.
The only hiccup we had was with the removal of the empty boxes; a big thank you to Amee for organising there removal. That was exemplary customer service.

Fantastic experience.
We had a fantastic experience with Green.com, who installed solar panels at our hotel ( Kelly's in Cranbourne), in November 2025. The installers made a difficult job look easy, and were respectful and courteous from start to finish. The commercial team delivered on everything promised. Can highly recommend Green.

Go with Green, you won't be disappointed
As the secretary of our strata committee, it fell to us to locate a suitable business to partner us in installing solar panels on a number our owner roofs (we ultimately had just on a 20% uptake within our 65 villa complex).
We settled on Green.com and we are so glad we did, their attention to detail, specifically focused on outstanding individual customer service made this project one of the smoothest and easiest projects to date. We can't thank Green.com enough, not only for their exceptional customer service, but also for their technical expertise in clearly and patently explaining all the whys and wherefores associated with this type of logistically complex installation - thank you Green.com :)

No hard or upselling from Green.com
We were after a small battery and solar system to compliment the bigger picture power supply initiatives Government and industry are working on, incorporating renewables into the fossil fuel driven energy system. We also saw an opportunity, in a small way, to spread the pressure on the existing electricity grid.
Braith from Green.com was very helpful during all stages from an initial phone discussion analysing our usage and needs throughout to working through a variation after the contract was signed. A plus for us in all elements. We were after a battery solution to be compatible with our Solar Edge solar array. Braith was not giving us the hard sell like other providers who suggested larger components or and unnecessary modifications to our existing system. I would think we had up to 8 phone and email conversations with our queries throughout the design stage and Braith and his Engineer, Dan would give good advice based sound knowledge and analysis of the options for our energy needs and expectations. Installation subcontractor was exceptional. The install went like clockwork and good old country service and chats. cheers to Leroy and his crew from Bluegum Renewables.

Nobody ever gets back to me
Im waiting on a second installation and nobody ever gets back to me. I have no idea why my installation time is taking so long. It's been over 3 months now and I'm no clearer. Avoid and go to a reputable group that actually delivers customer service. Edit* The installer on the first job was awesome and I'm very satisfied with the product.
