Extremely disappointing customer service from Grab team, not drivers, and false advertising

I had specifically bought the 1 month subscription to get a discount for when we go to the airport and it didn't work after selecting the discount. I contacted customer service who responded over 2 weeks later and closed the issue saying I hadn't selected the discount. Extremely disappointing. misleading advertising and poor customer service, except for drivers which we were happy with.

Jealous self hating racists

The grab motorbike drivers who sit across Daily Meat store in Kampot Cambodia racially slur foreigners.
This behavior is just because of their fear,self hate and jealousy. I'm a white westerner,and I'm not responsible for people's skin color height or poverty.At the end of the day any foreigner can move out of Cambodia and spends his money where he is respected.And foreigners will deal with Cambodians the same way they were dealt with as a foreigner in Cambodia. Cambodia has become the 7th most racist country in the world because of these racists.They are the enemy of Cambodians before anyone else.They bring poverty a bad reputation and hate for all Cambodians.

Only in bangkok I experienced that the taxi driver could charge you creditcard single-handedly without your consent. The driver charged about 25% extra 10 minutes after I left the taxi. I will use Bolt the next time in bangkok. At other place I never had any issues

No refund as promised. It’s a lie

Regarding food order I didn’t make and I refused to accept, Grab promised to refund me fully after my complaint. I am guessing that Grab recognized that its app is not 100% error free or it appreciates my business. It’s a lie. Their refund never happened

Slow responce

Slow responce, My paylater unusable, when I tried to contact support, its getting nowhere, some sripted AI doesnt give any solution and its just worst, I have submitted report and taking forever, I am going to uninstall grab soon.

The Singapore LTA must investigate Grab’s malpractices!

I booked last night an early 6am morning flight to Changi Airport but at 6am NO cab had been booked/was forthcoming. 6:07 am, still nothing. I had to cancel with the reason “NO FAB!!!”My long suffering brother-in-law had to drive me instead!! Pathetic GRAB!! Totally irresponsible there is no way while waiting for the cab to be booked could I contact Customer Service. This is absolutely disgusting and truly Grab’s way to profit off customers while giving zero customer service. The ministry of transport should investigate Grab’s pathetic standards and set up.

Avoid these clowns!

Every grab I have taken in Singapore has dropped me several kilometres from the desired destination.
I've pretty much been paying $20 a time to take a 30 minute walk.
Do not recommend these clowns at all.

Scammer drivers

I was scammed by a driver Choong Chee Kong in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur, his car number vjj3666, he dropped me earlier and said the price was 85, because of trolls, and when he went he finished the ride and the price was 72, so he scammed me with 13. The support only can offer compensation 15, but it can’t be used in another country, but the criminals like this person still working for the company.

horror

horror, you are not save traveling with Grab.
I lost my iphone, provided all necessary infos know for the trip and grab denied since i need to provide informations which i simply do not have since my phone is in the car of the driver.
Absolutely nonsense we need to involve our lawyers and go to the police since grabis absolutely not helipng at any given point and it seems they support such situations heavily.

i just asked that they inform their driver to bring the phone which we track on "my location" to a grab pickup point.

Serious Service Failure: Unable to Log In for 5 Days

I have been trying to log in to the Grab app for the past five days without success. I have sent multiple emails to their support team but have not received any response. It is extremely difficult to get in contact with them, and the lack of customer support is unacceptable.

I’m losing confidence in Grab

Grab were fine when they first started up but now I’m rapidly losing confidence in them. On my most recent journey, my driver drove like a lunatic and even got into a race with another driver who pulled in front of us on the freeway and slammed his brakes on. There could have been a serious accident. I complained to Grab but received no response. Don’t they care? They used to. I’ll be trying out one of their many competitors now. The loyalty scheme is now pretty worthless too.

Don’t use it unless you’re going to order food or car and believe you will have no hassle, and definitely do not sign up to their GRAB UNLIMITED BS.. full of promises that they don’t deliver, all hidden white text behind layers of misleading TOCs, lucky for them it’s SEA so they can pay lawmakers and create a facade of ‘I did warn them’. For example their trip discount for grab unlimited member doesn’t work.. (you need 50 grab coins) even though it says under member privileges before you subscribe ‘free 10% discount for hotels made on trip’con — JUST PRESS REDEEM?!!!’ And Ofcourse in usual fashion the customer support is non existent, you’ll probably find gold searching around their useless AI copy pasta chatbot before you find an option to talk to an actual human, and even if you do you’ll be lucky to get any refunds within 2 weeks. More likely than not you’ll take a month, if you’re unlucky up to 6 months, by that point you’ll have to email them back and forth non stop otherwise they’ll just pretend like you’ve forgotten your refund request. Disgusting company to have in our country considering Uber and other competitors no longer operate here. All we have is one monopoly acting like a cartel.. shameful. Saw that it’s still not making any money since it’s startup inception. Hope it closes down. This website truly reflects grab’s actual reviews, the one on the AppStore is filled with either old reviews from when they were actually caring about their customers to gain market share from Uber and foodpanda, or just straight up bot reviews with no details. In hindsight this is why we can’t have monopolies, especially in B2C businesses

Subject: Issue With Grab Cash Balance Usage During Trip to Singapore

I would like to formally raise a concern regarding my recent experience using Grab Taxi during my trip to Singapore.

I have been a regular Grab user in the Philippines and have consistently used GrabCash without any issues. Topping up via local banks is a standard, reliable feature, and fares are automatically deducted from my GrabCash balance each time I use the service.

Before travelling to Singapore, I topped up a substantial amount in my Grab account to cover my transportation costs during the trip, as Grab also operates there.

Upon arrival at the airport, I took the Metro to the hotel, but on my way back to the airport, I booked a Grab taxi. However, upon reaching my destination, the driver requested cash payment, explaining that the booking was set to cash.

I informed the driver that I did not have Singaporean currency with me and that my Grab account had sufficient balance to cover the fare. Unfortunately, the driver refused to accept the payment because my GrabCash balance was in Philippine pesos.

Given that Grab is an international company operating in multiple countries, I expected that my GrabCash balance would be usable across regions, or at the very least that the app would clearly prevent or warn users from booking cash-only rides when traveling internationally. The lack of currency compatibility and clear guidance caused significant inconvenience, especially upon arrival in a foreign country.

I hope Grab can review this matter and improve its system to better support international travellers, either through automatic currency conversion, clearer payment settings, or more effective user notifications.

I have loved using Grab in Indonesia…

I have loved using Grab in Indonesia and have used their service either through food delivery or rides/cabs daily for the past 18 months. Today, I ordered food at 4.56pm, it arrived at 6.27pm cold and stale.

I have never complained previously but today, it was so annoying that I ended up requesting a refund. The order cost Rp 150100 and they offered me a Rp 25000 voucher.

Needless to say, I have expressed my disappointment in response and will be switching to use GoJek for everything now.
