As many others, I'm one of the people who purchased a lifetime deal on the AppSumo platform. GoZen ended up in a dispute with AppSumo (apparently they violated the terms of AppSumo) and their funds were frozen. Instead of working towards a solution, they decided to block all the accounts of the people that purchased through AppSumo (although only the most recent payments were paused, so they did receive a lot of money for purchased licenses already) and force us to upgrade to a monthly or yearly subscription.

GoZen Growth has been amazing for my small business. The automations save me so much time, and the interface is so easy to work with. My email engagement has improved a lot since I started using it. Absolutely worth it!

I purchased two lifetime deals optinly and gozen forms from appsumo back in 2022 , I rarely used them , now when I needed them I discovered that they have terminated my account and apparently all other people who purchased from appsumo asking to move to a monthly subscription plan , they are claiming to have delayed payment issue ( zero evidence as their promotions ran for years on appsumo after I purchased the deals) , this is not an ethical or accepted business practice. a company which does not honor it's offer is not a company that you could feel safe paying them for any money. 1 star is too much for these scammers

GoZen Growth has been easy enough to work with. The warmup feature did what it needed to, and automations were simple to set up. Spintax is a nice option when I send out bulk emails. It’s not perfect, but it works for my day-to-day tasks.

My time with GoZen growth has been good overall. Automations runs smoothly, and the campaign insights are clear to follow. The interface is clean and beginner friendly. More templates would be a nice addition.

The email warm-up feature helped our campaigns get better delivery rates and fewer emails in spam. I wish the analytics were more detailed, but it works well overall.

I purchased a lifetime license from them directly after they contacted me to cancel my AppSumo purchase. They conned me with a higher tier for free as an incentive. I also assume, that's the source of motivation for AppSumo to end their relationship with them.
Forms and app is blocked again for the second time for no reason. No support. No responses. Just bad service. Ambi must be proud of the great company he's built. If you've been burnt as well, go ahead and reach out to him. You can find him on LinkedIn.

I purchased an appsumo lifetime deal in 2023 and years later they got into a dispute with appsumo, they cancelled all appsumo customer forms. If they don't want to sell on appsumo, they can stop doing so but they shouldn't have cancelled the accounts of customers who already purchased and they got paid for. The email screenshots Gozen posted shows that their dispute with appsumo didn't start until the end of 2024.

There are tons of other companies out there who offer similar products. I wouldn't trust them with a monthly subscription either. I've had bad customer service from them even before this issue.

They're scammers. After purchasing a lifetime plan from AppSumo, they asked me to refund on AppSumo and pay them directly. Now, my account has been impacted with a poor user experience.

They just ripped off or scammed their users. Multiple emails have been sent to support and have not received a response yet. Please get back to me and I will edit the review.

What you arranged with Appsumo is not your customer's problem. Serve your customer as you offered. Deal with any issues internally. For my account, I refunded Appsumo and was advised to pay you directly. I have the receipts so please respond to my emails and make my account active not related to Appsumo.

We paid USD 139.00 for a lifetime deal and were finally excited about using GoZen as we prepare to launch soon. We went to login and there was a pop-up via automatic notice that we have to upgrade (by a significant amount) to use the platform as our account has been downgraded to a 'free plan'?? We have tried contacting them and our first message was seen and we are now being ignored. We too are a small business so paying that amount under false pretences is incredibly frustrating, with no communication and no explanation? It seems they might be having an issue with AppSumo (the platform we bought the original deal on) or internal issues at GoZen Growth to completely change the structure of the offer that was paid for.

We have lost our access to our account bought from AppSumo, GoZen Growth just decided to ban us from using something we paid for.

This the highest tier of unprofessional behaviour and I would not recommend this app to anyone that does any kind of work with clients or any important work whatsoever.

We lost access after initially purchasing through appsumo 'lifetime' deal. Then when we applied new credit card details access was not restored. charged for several months. no response to online chat or emails. terrible company

I also purchased a lifetime Optinly subscription from them, and they blocked my access, too.

Scammy Indian company. Took our money, got fake paid reviews and have stopped providing services (they are still selling their services so beware!)

Like many others, I have had my GoZen Growth, GoZen HyperReach, GoZen Forms, and GoZen Content plans all downgraded from the LTD's I have purchased on AppSumo to merely free plans. This is completely unacceptable as I find I have just pissed away over a thousand dollars for what now equates to nothing. I understand payment issues with clients but this leaves a sour taste in my mouth for both companies.

Completely Unprofessional and Untrustworthy

We’ve been longtime users of Optinly via an AppSumo deal, but recently they’ve suspended all user accounts due to an unrelated payment dispute with AppSumo — even accounts that had nothing to do with the issue.

This kind of blanket punishment shows a shocking lack of professionalism. Instead of addressing the matter with AppSumo directly, they’ve chosen to lock out their entire user base, with no communication or alternative offered. It’s a terrible way to treat loyal customers and speaks volumes about how they handle conflict and customer support.

Avoid unless you’re okay with losing access to your service without warning.

GoZen.io is a Scammer Company in India. I purchased the GoZen Content AI Lifetime Deal for $199 through AppSumo, expecting lifetime access as advertised. However, after a few months, my access was suddenly revoked without any notice or explanation. I’ve attempted to contact their support multiple times through email and their website, but have received no response whatsoever. Based on my experience, I believe GoZen.io operates in a deceptive and unethical manner. Their actions suggest fraudulent intent, and I strongly caution others to avoid this company. In my view, GoZen.io is a scam. They are totally a fraud company. I lost $199. Away of this scammer and fraud company!

Locking out customers because Gozen is having a dispute with AppSumo is not only stupid, but unacceptable. This to me has rendered the company a scam and I warn anyone that decides to sign up. If they do it to people like appsumo customers, what are they going to do to new customers. Shame on them. They deserve 0 stars.
