I keep getting emails from them that the fictional group I created for my own character (OC) for fun is added on their site. They don’t have permission to do it. I’m confused.

0 STARS: American organisation and I'm in Australia!! As others have said I have given no authority to be listed and am constantly spammed despite blocking. I'm too afraid to look at the site in case of malware etc.
As others have said. Basically spam using my details to put on a register without consent.

Like many on this thread, our small municipality received an unsolicited email that we were included in their "directory." The links provided to review our information were blocked by our IT Managed Service Provider, so after some digging, realized this is likely a scam. Not sure what they're looking for, but a legit organization wouldn't be blocked by cybersecurity!
They have added us to their site without knowing who they are or our approval. Gut feeling is they are gathering data on us.

This platform automatically scrapes content from various websites and creates entries without consent. The information appears to be generated and assembled from different sources, then posted online. Social media channels are also scraped, with images and videos being taken and used in these entries, again without permission.
To request the removal of an entry, you are required to use the contact form, but it's uncertain whether any action will actually be taken.
They used our content to create a listing on their website. A lot of the listed information about us is plain wrong though. Furthermore, they use our content without consent.
