Great quality meal options, quality produce and excellent service.
The app is really easy to use and there are hundreds of recipes available each week which means you avoid repetition. It’s great value for money, the meals are perfectly proportioned and taste great! Ingredients are good quality too. If issues occur like items being missing or damaged then refunds are initiated instantly and deducted from future orders. There is online assistance available during normal working hours which gives you access to a real agent not a bot, and they are professional and quick to deal with any issues. All in all a great service and far better than the competition who we’ve also tried!
To further enhance the experience, offering more than 5 days worth of meals would be good, having longer exploration times would make it more flexible, and offering more delivery slots would make it easier.

Skipped box
I thought I had skipped this box as I was on holiday. I trued to cancel it when I realised it was going to be delivered but was told it couldn’t be cancelled or delivered to another address. Unfortunately this meant the whole box was ruined as it sat on my step for several days.

I have been a client for 4 years
I have been a client for 4 years, and I have to say that I eat so much better thanks to Gousto and their fantastic recipes. This encourages me to eat more diverse and healthy food. As a vegetarian/vegan, there are so many wonderful choices that taste amazing.

Food is really good. Great options. The only downside is dpd the courier company they use sometimes the food is delivered after 7pm and can be as late as 8.30pm

Lovely products but badly let down by using Evri as their delivery courier! The past two weeks our box was never delivered. We have consequently cancelled our subscription with Gousto. Now going to try Hello Fresh.

So sorry to leave this review but the boxes are too expensive to keep going, I’ve had 2 now and both have had short dated shelf life, meat that has gone off and rotten veg and salad. Added to the concept that DPD can’t find my shed or even my yard and just leave boxes out in this heat I’ve just called it a day and closed the account. Where I was trying to budget by buying Gousto I’ve ended up buying twice to try and r replace the ingredients that were spoiled. I think I have a box coming again this week that has been paid for as I was too late to stop it, in all honesty I’m not holding out much hope that there will be an improvement. As a side note as someone else has mentioned the chicken always smells off and is a pasty white colour. Sorry Gousto the one meal I have managed to put together was delicious but 1 out of potentially 20 meals isn’t a good start.

I LOVE Gusto
I LOVE Gusto. I have a little girl who is very picky with her food. She helps me make the meals and enjoys seeing what ingredients they contain. It’s a really lovely time that we spend together.
I get the family friendly ones and my daughter is getting more adventurous with her choices. My partner and I have a fancy one at the weekend.
The prices and offers are great and I have recently been in touch with customer service. They were really helpful and dealt with my query promptly.
Another good thing about gusto is the amazing choice. Also, that everything is weighed out. So, the things I would resent buying as they would not get used and probably be thrown away are sent by the exact amount.
Don’t worry about the hot weather and packages being left out. We had a delivery left outside in scorching heat for 4 hours. It was fine. The packaging is great and the ice packs were still huge.
The portions are massive and there is often a spare portion for me to take to work the next day. We have tried a competitor but found that they had less choice, the recipes were often boring and the portion size was smaller. We even take them camping when we go on hols.

I have raved about Gousto for some time…
I have raved about Gousto for some time and thought it was excellent. Recently, I am flooded with emails about substitute items that “may” arrive instead of others. This is disappointing as whilst they are chosen to be similar, they are not what I chose and recently a meal was ruined by the supply of thin noodles. I also base my choice on the calories in each dish which is changed when the ingredients are but, no details given for macros. I also find that more items have an extra charge per portion when, I think the meals are enough cost anyway. Most of the recipes are very enjoyable.

I like the boxes they are great but the downside is that some ingredients can be perished and/or missing which can be frustrating as I don’t have time to tick off each item against the recipe list of ingredients.
