Waste of time and money

I bought a Groupon for this service and could not activate the referral code. I kept getting a rejection notice on their site saying the referral code was invalid. After several attempts I contacted Customer Service that wasted more of my time with back and forth emails with a different question each time. Finally, Customer Service sent an email to say my code was now valid. I went back on the site to redeem the code only to get the same rejection notice that the code was invalid. I gave up an asked for my money back and Customer Service told me to take up the refund with Groupon. Groupon tried to provide me with a credit instead of a refund because the two day window to request a refund had passed. Groupon eventually approved a refund but I wasted way too much time on this incompetent company. Without Groupon I found another company via Yelp that was $10 cheaper and with no hassle to sign up. Don't waste your time or your money on gototrafficschool.com.

Company should not represent their certificates are accepted in certain counties on their site

The program was a bit boring but fairly easy to work through in short order. My reasoning for giving the company only one star is that their program was not accepted by the court in the county where I got my ticket. The state and county were listed on their website, as I went and selected the county and court where I am scheduled to appear for the traffic ticket (it was a state I was passing through on a business trip). When I called the company to ask if the certificate of completion was sent to the courthouse, I was asked if I had called and checked with the court first to see if they would accept the certificate. This had me confused. Why would you provide the option to let me select the county and proceed forward with the cert if it was not going to be accepted by the court? The employee at GoToTrafficSchool.com I spoke with did have a pleasant disposition. She told me that there was a notice on the site that says I needed to call and check with the court before starting my online traffic school. Perhaps there is, and I just didn't pay attention to the notice. As such the waste of paying for and doing their traffic school program was a waste of my time and money, does potentially fall in my lap as well. Just feel the company should not have a state and county on their site if they have done their due diligence and removed the county/state where I received my ticket from their options. Should I have done more due diligence myself, yes, but I've been on the road for work for seven months straight and had little time to allocate to this issue? I relied on the information from the service provider as related to their Google advertisement that they offered traffic school services for the particular county/state at issue for me, and feel that they are culpable in part for my wasted time and funds.

Would not recommend unless you have to

Would not recommend. It claimed that the county I got my ticket in was valid, but when I tried to submit the traffic school the courthouse said that it was not. A costly mistake. The customer service lady was nice but would not refund any money.

I will never use this service again.

Writing style was awful - missing punctuation, misspellings, incomplete sentences? The pages time out before you can finish watching the videos? Only 30 seconds to click the "continue" button after the timer is up on each page or warnings to disable the course after the 3rd time which means you fail and no money back? No upfront disclaimer that there is another $15 fee for identity verification before I can move on to the Final exam? Wow, this course felt like a rip off. It was extremely frustrating, gave me severe anxiety and took me 2 full days to complete. I had taken it a couple years ago for much lower cost and felt it was a good experience so I used it a second time. This time, it ended up costing me over $200. I will take the speeding ticket on my record any day over this experience!

inept service

Look at the Yelp reviews which say:
a) the course is long
b) the questions are ridiculous and aren't meant to demonstrate any knowledge of driving (e.g. what color were the cars in the demonstration?)
c) the company is disorganized and not professional. After a long day going through the course and passing the test, gototrafficschool.com sent my results to the wrong court. I called and emailed them many times, specifying which court they needed to send my results to, and they insisted they had corrected the problem. But the DMV and relavent courthouse insisted gototrafficschool.com did not. I probably had to spend about 12 hours AFTER passing the test, to ensure my scores were finally submitted correctly. In the end, the DMV and courthouse were correct, and gototrafficschool.com was inept.

Unencrypted connection while handling money - not good!

The site contents themselves were not bad, but as it stands, I can’t recommend this site to anyone:

The connections to the site are always via http, NOT https (= SSL encrypted). Even when taking my payment information, and during login!

This means anyone could have intercepted my data as it was being sent across the internet, theoretically allowing hackers to steal money or my identity!

For comparison, the current trend on the internet is to encrypt everything, even connections that don’t contain sensitive information.

Ultimately very disappointed and upset!

The registration and test taking was very efficient. The response and results confirmation of completion was prompt. HOWEVER, the court was not informed and the ticket now counts as a point against my record, and i was just told that my insurance was raised by State Farm.

My efforts ro correct the matter with the DMV has not proved fruitful. I was asked to take it up with the court! I feel cheated and very upset. All that money and effort on traffic school was wasted?

Great traffic school experience

This was a painless traffic school experience. They try to make the material interesting; there are short videos; they add cute pieces of historical traffic information. The navigation is very simple, the price is great. I would highly recommend this traffic school.

Sadly, not so good.

Firstly, I will tell you that I spent the extra money to listen to the voice over for the reading part and it was a waste of money! The person reading was either lagging or going too fast and I finally stopped the voice all together to just read it. Also, my information was incorrect in the confirmation email and I had to call to have them correct my address. The person told me that I would receive a copy of my passing score or something to that effect and I never received anything. Very disappointing....

Too many log-ins

The training itself was fine, but after every chapter and every test I had to log-in again and/or answer security questions. I can't fathom why this would be necessary, and I wouldn't take the course again for that reason alone.

Easy to use, informative & timely response

The classes are easy to use, very complete in subject matter, and the completion Certificate was received exactly when promised. Hopefully will never again go to traffic school, but if so, yours will be the one I use.

Shipping services

The class experience online was great and very user friendly. However the certificate shipping is horrible. I completed the class on 6/29/2015. It took me 4 different emails to finally receiver my certificate on 8/17/2015. This really needs to be changed. Tracking is definitely recommended for shipping.
