I bought an initial necklace in September 2025 from the Elizabeth Street store in NYC, while on vacation from Spain. The salesperson was delightful, no complaint there.

However, in June, I reached out to the customer care team to tell them that the necklace had stated tarnishing and leaving a grey/green ring around my neck, so much so that I had to stop wearing it. The necklace was worn and cared for in line with the guidance provided at purchase, so I was surprised to see such noticeable deterioration so quickly.

Although I know the piece is gold plated, less than a year of wear seems like a disappointingly short lifespan for a piece at this price point.

During my back and forth with the customer care team, they asked me to send them proof of purchase and photos of the item, which I did. Their reply was: “We would be glad to send a replacement once your item is received at our warehouse and reviewed by our quality control team!

If you choose to proceed, please note that international return shipping costs would be your responsibility for both the return and replacement. Any fees paid directly to the carrier for this return are not refundable.”

Even after providing them with proof of the deterioration, I’m expected to pay the international shipping costs, just for them to conduct a quality review process? Doesn’t seem fair to me. Like another reviewer said, it feels like they’re banking on us not to bother sending it in at our own costs.

To add, they also said that I could take my item to a gorjana store for assistance when I next visit the states, but the whole interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. I bought the initial necklace in memory of someone who passed away, so this has been a disappointing experience overall.

The staff in the Fort Lauderdale store are super helpful, nice and not pushy.
I always love the experience. And of course the merchandise is fantastic.

My earrings was replaced and I love them. I did still have to switch to another backing because try to push post into backing was bending post. I think the issue was the backing.

I absolutely LOVEEEEEEEEE gorjana!! When your pieces tarnish and can get them replaced for free!! ANDDDDD I lost 2 charms on my bracelet and I had literally just purchased them I was devastated. And those charms are like 50 bucks a piece. I sent a email asking if there was anything they could do and they were sooooo helpful and sent me free new ones. I wear the wilder mini alphabet necklace and the matching bracelet every single day and my charm bracelet! And I just started wearing the Lou hoops which I loveeeeee!! I love them and gorjana is literally the only jewelry I buy and wear now! I would literally work for them if I could! Can’t brag about them enough!

Salesperson: poor and insulting, accused of returning a used and damaged bracelet purchased 5 days ago. Reason for intended exchange was loose clasp on bracelet. Have purchased this very same bracelet in past history, one for daughter and one for granddaughter without loose clasp. Salesperson suggesting that I maybe returning one of them as she proposed she saw wear on the newly purchased bracelet resulting in my choice not to re-order.
