I wanted to buy UHU but the shop didn't have it and Gorilla Glue contact adhesive looked like a suitable alternative. I was a bit expensive - £10 for a tube. Tried to use it to glue some pieces of car... See more

Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage! Could not get it to bond anything to anything! It stayed a greasy mess. Save yourself the headache and buy another brand!
Useless product.
I bought the GRAB ADHESIVE for a relatively simple task. To hold in place a piece of wood from a small branch against the side of a vase in a floral display. There was no strain at all on the point of contact. Despite reading and following instructions, It simply wouldn’t stick at all let alone 60 seconds. (As suggested I gave are additional pressure support.) Its hideously messy thick and gunky and stays white. All in all a ghastly product. I have wasted £9.99 on this rubbish..
I clearly don't learn as I have tried other Gorilla brand items and they too were very poor. Look for another make as this one doesn’t deliver. Its my last Gorilla purchase. Oh and its difficult to remove from skin!!
Dried up in the bottle within weeks of…
Dried up in the bottle within weeks of me buying it. A complete con! I'd give it no stars at all if it was an option.
Embarrassing
Worste glue ever
It put up quite fight to stay in little plastic bottle then eventually I managed to get a huge splat out that went every where I didnt want including my fingers. The worste gluing experience Ive ever had in close to 60 years.
Very poor Product
Purchased to stick edging on the worktops and did what the instructions said. Very poor. Went and purchased evostick contact which I use to use...
I just bought the gorilla glue contact…
I just bought the gorilla glue contact . On wood it’s useless I’ve use contact cement in many applications and this is the worst stuff I’ve ever seen complete rip off.
Brutally Bad
First of all the glue viscosity is thick. I work in construction and trying to squeeze the glue out was a Herculean effort. When I did manage to get the glue out its adhesion was awful. Do not buy, unless you’re into DYI masochism
Simply doesn't work
Simply doesn't work. It also makes a right mess and is difficult to clear up. They should abandon it and try again before it completely sullies their name.
Absolute rip off
Absolute rip off. Two pots both as solid as a rock and not opened . Try phoning , its as bad as the glue . Says to press 1 to speak to someone , then the same message comes on 3 times and then says goodbye . Their online website is even worse . Do not buy and do not waste time trying to complain, An expensive lesson.
It's useless
Its useless, I tried it on a range of different materials, nothing stuck. Literally came unstuck on everything.
Save your money and buy a proper glue.
I have a 4 oz bottle of gorilla glue…
I have a 4 oz bottle of gorilla glue that has NEVER been opened. It's as hard as a rock. Totally useless. As expensive as this stuff is, it's ridiculous that it's solidified in the bottle. Bottle WAS NEVER OPENED.
Rubbish
This is not glue it’s rubbish using the name gorilla 🦍 is a joke should be called sloth 🦥 glue it takes forever to set don’t buy it save your money I think any one that as given more then 1 star works for the company
Worse than Pritt Stick
Worse than Pritt Stick. Possibility the worst glue I have ever bought. A huge rip off. Do not buy. I tried to glue two bits of wood together. It was as if I had not put anything on it at all. Total junk.
I notice that the company hasn't responded to anyone.
I assume that is because they really don't care as they are profiting purely and simply from false advertising. I've never known a company here to earn 1-stsr for 93% of their reviews. They claim on the packaging that it is 'the strongest glue in world', which they know to be a total lie. It is about as strong as syrup. No more.
Useless
Useless. I've given it two opportunities with two types and both have been absolute rubbish. Also if you leave the bottles after use for more than a week it's almost impossible to get the glue out as it thickens really quickly. Don't go anywhere near this glue.
Nozzle blocked on a brand new bottle
Couldn't get it out of the bottle as new. Had to unscrew and dig out hard stuff in the lid and this was in a brand new bottle. Get evo stick next time
It is rubbish.
It is rubbish.
Moisten one surface apply glue to the other, it says.
1 hour later and it still didn't hold.
Over priced and over rated.
Super glue or evostik from now on, lesson learned.
The worst 'super' glue I have ever…
The worst 'super' glue I have ever used. Attempted to stick a number of simple items that Gorilla says were compatible with the glue. It failed completely on every occasion. Gorilla seem to have gone over the top with marketing and diversification to milk the market and I would surmise that in so doing have not tested products carefully enough. This product is rubbish.
i bought this item and used it once …
i bought this item and used it once went to use it and the bottle is completely hard. called customer service and was told its beyond shelf life. not worth the money when dollar store glue lasts and lasts. no mention of shelf life when you buy it. i have other products older than this and still good..also i gave it one star because there was nothing less.
Should be done for false advertising
Should be done for false advertising. Better quality as you get with glues from bargain shops
