A phenomenal RTT with the customer service to match. I bought the expedition mini and first broke it in with a Yosemite trip. The tent was easy to mount, fit very nicely on my short bed Tacoma bed rack, and was an absolute pleasure to sleep in. All the included additions were a treat to have, from the awning that attached to the tent to give a shaded area, to the shoe bags and led lighting inside. There is plenty of storage built inside for everything you could have in your pockets and more. I ended up buying a little solar battery bank to plug the led light into and it easily lasted all weekend powering the energy efficient leds in the tent.

I’ve now used the tent twice since I bought it just two months ago, last weekend I took it to big pine, it got below 20 degrees at night, so once again there included accessories came in great! The insulating layer that easily clips inside the tent made sleeping in freezing cold quite cozy. There is also a port for a diesel heater I will be upgrading to soon. The attention to detail and build quality is just outstanding, you can tell this was built by people who actually use it.

The hard shell is great and easy to setup, but what I like most is the adjustable rack bars. I normally mounted my snowboards to my bed bars, but now I will be able to mount them on top of the RTT allowing me to leave it installed. This will also give me a nice rest area I can quickly setup if I wish to pop the tent as it takes mere minutes.

I’ve already had two great trips with this tent, and I am looking forward to many more. Thank you to everyone at Go Overland Canada!

This brand of RTT is beast, we choose Expedition XL and we can’t be more happy. Plenty room inside, easy and quick set up plus insulation kit is game changer. With all accessories including this tent worth every dollar. Customer service and willingness from owners is unbelievable. I 100% recommend this tents.

Great product and great customer service! The journey x-lite is really well built, easy to use and had enough room for 2 adults and a dog.

I bought the Journey X Lite tent, great deal on it for end of season clearance. The tent came with all the accessories I would have needed (ie cross bars for the tent and cold weather insulation). Customer support was quick to answer any questions I had via email. Would highly recommend.

This is my third rooftop tent, the accessories that were included in my package, the quality of the product and the care in the delivery with the frequent updates from Go Overland are unparalleled. Had some shipping issues but customer service was there with amazing communication and support. Tent is rugged, spacious and extremely well built. I LOVE this tent and have booked more time off because of it. Get one and start your own adventures.

First of all I love the tent. It makes camping super easy.
There was some damage to the frame from the shipping company. They made everything right with a new one. And no expense to us.

I had recently ordered the Trek Rooftop Tent from GoOverland Canada and when I received the order there had been some damage to the box due to one of the shipping companies and sadly the tent inside had some damage as well… I had reached out to GoOverland Canada customer service….. and was I impressed!! They had gotten back to me right away and we had resolved the issue about the tent and I was sent a brand new one.

I am not only impressed with the customer service, but the tent itself! It is great quality for the price and definitely upgraded my camping experience. I’ve only been able to take it out camping once this year, but I am looking forward to taking it for more camping trips. I love how easy it is to set up and take down and how light weight it is!

Love the reliable coustmer service and the thoughtfulness that has been put into this roof top tent of many features. The Expedition XL comes with everything where as other companies don't and you end up having to buy it extra, this tent is compleat!

Not going to lie... As a first time RTT buyer, wasn't really sure and was a bit hesitant about spending $$$ on a RTT from the "local" brand. However, it didn't take a long time for me to realize that I made the right decision! Their customer service was top notch during the purchase process; they were very responsive via email & Instagram and helpful & patient with my questions. But, the high quality of the RTT, together with all accessories that came with it, is what really impressed me - feel like I got the RTT with the quality of the "popular" or "big" brand RTT at a much cheaper price. AND, their customer service has been really great even 1 year of the purchase & use.

Would definitely recommend Go Overland Canada RTT to anyone who is considering getting one. Thank you Go Overland Canada for the RTT, and, more importantly, the memories that I've made with Expedition XL!

I did a lot of research before deciding on Go Overland Canada for my RTT. The final decision was made with the very helpful staff at Red Bear Outdoors in Toronto who are a fantastic distributor for GOC. I purchased the Explorer X and it fits and looks great over the bed of my Tundra. Now, since I have been travelling for work since purchasing, I haven't had a chance to use the tent, so this review is just about the purchasing process.

The tent was incredibly easy to purchase online and, via the online purchase form, have it shipped directly to Red Bear for installation. The tent is a very solid build and came complete with winter insulation kit and a great zip-in awning. I had a few doubts once I set it up at home the first time, but GOC were quick to respond to my questions.

Once I have a chance to go camping in it, I will know for sure how great the Explorer X is, but I am already impressed with the ease and speed of setup.

I would recommend GOC to anyone looking for a RTT. Especially for Canadians to buy local.

Overland was fantastic to deal with, there attention to detail, responsiveness, and sense of humour ( when it was user error, on my side) was exceptional!

I love my Journey X Lite and tell everyone to get one!

Vito and the team have been very easy to communicate with and are always open to help answer questions. As for the Journey X Lite it’s a great product, I love that it was easy to install and can support lots of weight on the tents roof racks even when open. I would highly recommend going with Go Overland.

Excellent product but nothing is ever perfect so one small recommendation would be to strengthen the metal rod nylon pockets from the rain-guard at the entry point or jus go with grommets like the others that are great. Mine are already slowly tearing apart.

Awesome tents and an awesome company. We've had our tent for a couple of years now and LOVE the convenience of it. It's so easy to set up and take down. It's also super comfortable.

I purchased a roof top tent last year for a trip to Whitehorse. At the time there was no inventory and I explained the date I was leaving and was told the tent would be delivered before that date. It arrived when they said it would, the tent was easy to install on my Colorado and the trip to Whitehorse was fantastic. The other people I was with had a regular ground tent. Before they had theirs out of the bag I was set up and having a cocktail. Had about 15 nights last year in it and about the same year. Great company and great products.
