I downloaded medicine coupons from Good RX's website planning on paying the dollar amount listed on the coupon. When I went to the pharmacy the rep. told me not to plan on paying that amount. Went... See more

This is a great idea and a terrible execution. This company promises the ability to have your prescriptions sent directly to your home. This process would save money and time. Great idea. That would be worth the monthly Gold membership fee. Except they can not deliver. Orders are lost or canceled due to internal system issues. Support basically offers the option that you can check back in 72 hours and we might have the system fixed. Auto refills get dropped. Past orders fall off the system. Do yourself a favor and don't engage in their serivices. Use the coupon if it helps but converting all your prescriptions to their care will be the worse mistake you can make.

I used GoodRx Care because I had no insurance and needed an affordable option for what felt like textbook strep throat. I’m rarely sick, but when I am, it’s usually confirmed strep. Their website clearly states strep throat is something they treat, so I trusted this service. BIG MISTAKE.
Here’s what happened.
First visit: I waited over 8 hours for a provider, and she didn’t contact me until almost 10 PM. (No heads up prior to or after paying that delays could be many hours - days.) During the call, she out of no where stopped talking & disconnected just a couple mins in. Instead of attempting to reconnect or finish an assessment, she ended up messaging in chat about a disconnection and asked if I wanted “magic mouthwash” (which can be made with OTC meds I already had.) Desperate for relief, I accepted, but it did nothing and my symptoms continued to worsen.
Over the next two days, my symptoms got significantly worse, including fever (which I almost never get) and increasing white patches on my throat. I sent detailed updates in the chat, explained my financial situation, and asked for real help. I even offered to send an updated photo to show the worsening condition of my throat.A nurse said she would “expedite” my case to a care team manager to find a new provider.
Then I waited 3 DAYS before I was connected to a provider!
During that time, the care team occasionally popped in to tell me to be patient, but gave no realistic expectation that this could take days. I stayed glued to my phone because there was no scheduling, no window, no reliable notification. Doing this while sick was TORTURE.
Finally, after I sent another message making it clear I was not improving, they sent a message telling me to “go to the ER if it’s that bad” and ended their message by directing me to call the suicide hotline of I was thinking of harming myself or others. I WAS FLOORED. That was extremely offensive and out of place. I was asking for treatment for worsening strep symptoms, not remotely threatening or expressing self harm.
Then, at around 3 AM while I was asleep, a provider connected. I missed it, because who is awake at 3 AM waiting for a telehealth visit after days of delays. He stated he could not prescribe antibiotics without a positive strep test. Here’s the core problem…
GoodRx Care says they treat strep, but they do not provide the test, and they would not treat without a test. The only way to get a test was the exact thing I was trying to avoid due to cost: urgent care or the ER. So I paid for a service that ultimately couldn’t help me, after days of waiting, disconnections, and nonchalant back and forth.
This was one of the worst healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. If you need time sensitive care, especially for something like suspected strep, I would not recommend relying on this service. It’s just a scam!!

GoodRx prescribed me medication through a doctor who wasn't licensed in Nevada so CVS refused to give me my prescription. When I couldn't refill it, they spent 9 days blaming CVS, then blaming me, before finally admitting they need "a provider licensed in my state."
Now they can't figure out how to send it to another pharmacy. Different people keep asking me the same questions without reading previous messages and understanding the situation. They asked me questions in their message center, I responded multiple times, they never checked it, then blamed ME for not responding.
It's been 9 days. My condition is getting worse. They still haven't sent my prescription anywhere I can actually fill it.
They prescribed through an unlicensed provider, can't fix their mistake, blame the customer for their operational chaos, and don't monitor their own communication systems.
They don't know what they're doing and will blame you when their system fails.

I was looking at a double price increase in a prescription and goodrx made that less than original cost!

I have been trying to contact customer support for two straight days to cancel my appointment and request a full refund, but I keep receiving copy-and-paste responses that do not even address my questions. It feels like no one is actually reading my messages.
This situation is not consistent with the promises stated on your website. Because of your slow and unhelpful responses, I lost time and money, and now I cannot even go to urgent care when I am seriously sick.
For three days, I have been stuck with:
No proper response
No doctor contact
No refund
No real support
Instead of resolving the issue, support keeps sending the same generic message asking if I have more questions, without answering the ones I already asked.
This experience has been extremely frustrating, stressful, and disappointing. At this point, it feels misleading and unfair to customers. I strongly warn others to be cautious.

Goodrx sucks, completely useless and a waste of time. First you will never get any live assistance from anyone and more importantly I tried to use today and to fill one prescription it was $225! That card does nothing, its useless, completely sucks. Its probably some kind of scam, you fill in all your info then you start getting spam!!!!

They charged me $19 including the extra charge for the monthly fee and gave me the wrong medication that I’m allergic, when I requested some different. I’m trying to get in touch with them and no one is answering back. This is RIDICOULOUS!
It's 2/16 ISSUE STILL NOT RESOLVED. I would not pay for another subscription until this is handled!!!!!

I was trying to change a prescription.
I was charged for two telehealth visits that were canceled by the medical team without any communication with me.
The first one was canceled because they claimed I had another account that I needed to use to request a visit.
The second one was canceled because there were still refills left on the prescription I was trying to change.
After hours on the phone with two different customer service teams, I managed to get the first fraudulent charge reversed, but no joy on the second.
After disputing the charge with my bank, reporting the issue to the BBB, trying to cancel my account, and request deletion of all my data, I started getting "You have a new secure message" emails from them.
Clearly, they didn't delete my data... They're still emailing me. I don't know what those "secure" messages might be because I requested data deletion and deleted cookies and site data for the site... I can't log in any more.

I was trying to pick up a prescription that is not approved by the FDA so I have to use a goodrx coupon. Unfortunately, it has been a horrible experience from being told that my provider does not participate with goodrx (which makes no sense), to a goodrx rep not calling me back so when I followed up, the new rep had no idea what I was talking about because the previous rep never put notes on my account, and not providing a clear understanding of the issue to now having to wait up to 7 business days for goodrx to look into. This medication is an injection that my provider has to administer. So I now have to cancel my apt, live another week in pain and hope to hear back from goodrx. I really hope I never have to use any coupons again

LOVE GoodRX! They're a lifesaver! You can get your prescriptions highly discounted, even if you have medical insurance. We have our medical insurance information in our pharmacies system and also GoodRX. You can choose to run your prescription through either. We pay high out of pocket, so 95% of the time, ours go through GoodRX for the best out of pocket price. The downfall is when you choose GoodRX instead of your insurance, it won't go towards your deductibles. In our case, we NEVER reach our deductibles (our insurance is basically catastrophic) so that doesn't matter to us. When you're picking up a $100 prescription (for example) and your insurance out-of-pocket is $80 and the GoodRX cost is $35, we're going with the $35! GoodRX has saved us THOUSANDS over the years, and that is the truth. Private "Mom and Pop" pharmacies won't take GoodRX, so you'll have to go to a chain. The GoodRX app shows you who accepts it and also the prices beside your specific medication, so you can choose based on your preference. You can't go wrong!

GoodRx let an unlicensed provider call in my prescription to the pharmacy. Both the pharmacy and I have been trying to have them fix it for almost a week now.
GoodRX replied that all of their providers are licensed. My pharmacy said the provider that put it in wasn't active. I guess they're not wrong and both can be true?
