Back in July this year, I visited this clinic for a laser-assisted operculectomy procedure on my partially impacted wisdom tooth. This was a problem that had been plaguing me for months, I was in a lot of discomfort from recurring pericoronitis. My NHS dentists told me the wisdom tooth needs to come out, but I was then told my major nerve was very close to the root of the wisdom tooth and that it would be a potentially problematic procedure, and would need hospital treatment. This made me incredibly nervous and doubtful, and honestly I did not want to go through invasive (and problematic) surgery like that. I asked what about operculectomy (removing the gum) since there was no actual issue with my wisdom tooth itself. I was told by my NHS dentists that this procedure is a waste of time and money, don't do it. They also just shrugged and said it's up to me to get the wisdom tooth removed or not, and that was the end of their "help".

Well, I thought I would rather at least try a less invasive solution before going through a whole surgery. I found Dr Jacek Sitkiewicz and the Goodlight Clinic, who offers laser-assisted operculectomy. I contacted the clinic to ask about my situation and immediately the reception was so accommodating, helpful and very friendly. With the actual procedure with Dr Jacek Sitkiewicz, I felt at ease with his calm and professional mannerism, and the procedure itself was really so quick and easy, I was pleasantly surprised. I also really appreciated his advice about cool sage tea aftercare to help my gum heal since I always try more natural remedies if possible. And indeed it worked well, my gum healed in a matter of weeks and I have had no problems since. The clinic itself was clean and modern - just what you want for dental services!

It has been some months since my appointment, and the gum has not grown back like my NHS dentist insisted it would. Gum regrowth is natural, but Dr Sitkiewicz cut the gum in such a way that would hopefully prevent it from becoming the same problem it was before. As I said, I've had no issues at all since this procedure - I am back to eating normally on that side of my mouth and it is a wonderful relief.

Hopefully the gum will always stay this way! But if I ever need private dental services again, I will definitely be back here. Overall great experience. Many thanks for the help. Highly recommend!

Dr Jacek has consistently been a skilled dentist and given me good guidance.

Super dental service.Dr Jacek Sitkiewicz is on top of his game with good advice and good sense of humour. Well he needs that with me. The clinic uses all the latest technology and located in an easily found location with parking near by.

The Goodlight Clinic is exceptional and can genuinely be highly recommended. It’s not just Jacek, who I’ve been with for 20 years and is, I think, probably the best dentist in Bath, but the whole team including the receptionist Ula are also very efficient, helpful, patient and responsive.
I would also endorse the very positive comments below about Patrycja the hygienist and her assistant Misia.
Patrycja is an excellent hygienist who also provided really helpful advice. I will certainly go back to her.

Excellent service from booking to execution.
I had hygienist appointment with Patrycja Sosnowska and all the practice team (Patrycja, the nurse and the receptionist Ula) were great. Patrycja is very attentive to details, she cleaned my teeth gently and quickly, noticing issues as she goes along and the gave me very good practical advice for day to day cleaning. Patrycja really cares about her patients and is very professional. My teeth feel very clean. Probably the best hygienist I've been while over 10 years in the UK.

Ula is very welcoming and positive, provided me with all necessary documents for my insurance.

Excellent clinical service to remove an infected molar last week and subsequent follow up remedial treatment today. . Dentist and dental nurse were professional, attentive and caring.

What is important to me regarding a dentist and their team. Is their concern for the patient, making our visits as painless and reassuring as possible. Also keeping abreast of technology to enhance their knowledge and therefore our experiences when we visit them. I have found the Goodlight Clinic has all of these attributes and always feel safe and known, when l visit.

Having what I thought was ‘toothache’ for the last few weeks, Jacek has been extremely patient with me! We don’t think there is a problem tooth and he has used a laser technique to help.. He is now referring me to the RUH to see if they can find the problem..

Having recently moved to Bath I was fortunate to come across the open morning for the Good Light Clinic. The clinic is stylish, all the staff welcoming and friendly. I have received excellent treatment from Jacek, pain free, very professional using the latest equipment. I would highly recommend.

All good. Was seen on time. Lovely bright and airy treatment rooms. Plus was able to park close to building.
