DO NOT ORDER RUNNING SHOES FROM THIS COMPANY!

*UPDATE*
I kept replying back to their automated emails asking if they operated under UK Law as per their website, if so why were the asking me as a company with a UK address, registered at Companies House to return to a US warehouse (not to mention courier was Chinese and emails from Pakistan!).
I also raised a fraud query with my bank, and received a FULL REFUND paid directly back into my account - received no correspondence so not sure if it was the query or the persistent emails… but for anyone in the same situation don’t give up & report them to your bank*

I’m currently experiencing EXACTLY the same as other negative reviewers, so really wish I’d seen the negative ones BEFORE ordering! (My daughter had sent me the link to the site to order for her birthday present, had checked reviews that mentioned slow delivery but otherwise positive), so I ordered a pair of ASICS, very bad initial communication, no confirmation then just a text to say order being processed. Only an automated message a few days after sending an order status enquiry - the quoted 2-4 days from order quoted turned into 10 days (so not in time for birthday).
Product arrived, sub standard with noticeable puckering at toe caps, daughters put foot on and they dug into her toes had to take straight off - couldn’t even walk in them let alone run.
Emailed re returns - had read policy that said if they would pay shipping on faulty goods, so attached photo of puckered toe caps.
Delay in reply, then received same automated email re delayed delivery.
Sent message through website.
Received a mail offering 20% discount and keep product as not cost effective for return - apparently they were sent from the US so would have to be returned there.
Replied refusing, explaining that the trainers are unwearable so of no use - asked for full refund and instructions of what to do with product.
Received EXACTLY the same discount offer email but with discount increased to 30% & the 35%, but cost to return tracked to US address would have been £32.00
Again have refused and now awaiting reply.
Would be interested to know if anyone else has successfully received a full refund?

100% counterfeit trainers

100% counterfeit trainers. I bought Ascics trainers and knew something was off as soon as I took them out the box. I just compared them to the real version and it’s very clear they are fake. Do not buy from this website! I think this is dangerous. I bought these trainers to support my weak ankles and can you imagine if I’d actually used them when running. A disgrace.

I would have given 0 stars if i could, please please! Do not order from this website! It is a scam and i have all the emails to prove it. You will not recieve your order and when you ask for a refund they say you need to return the parcel to the united states, when it states the company is based in the u.k.

Complete scam

Complete scam. What a fool I feel not checking reviews first. Looking for a quick purchase to renew my wife's running shoes, she gets through a lot of pairs. They cleverly offer Asics trainers at slightly cheaper than the lowest priced honest companies, rather than half the price which would be too obvious. You are led to believe you are dealing with a London based company..Then you see the tracking details arrive from some Chinese name shipping company and receive counterfeit goods of course, then it's the good old international returns policy sending back to a USA address or 30% money back instead. NO I don't want to keep counterfeit trainers regardless of the discount!! Absolute scumbags. AVOID!!

SCAMMERS

Hi,

I was so disappointed.

The product arrived late. They are not the genuine article. When I raised this concern with your company, I was offered only a 30% refund for a product purchased for £75.
This money was my 15 yr old daughter’s pocket money. She was and continues to be very upset. I feel that we need to report this to Trading standard's, in the hope that they are now allowed to trade in the Uk.
So no, I will not be recommending Golfado, feel it’s a complete scam!!!

Report this fraud company to your bank/trading standards

This is a scam company. They sell counterfeit goods, if they even arrive at all. Strongly advise bringing a fraud complaint against them with your bank (best way to get a refund). Also report them to trading standards so nobody else has to deal with this scam operation.

SCAM COMPANY

Ordered a pair of Asics trainers in a size 6. Delivery took well over a week and when they finally arrived, they were a size 5.5 and clearly not genuine! When I emailed the company, they offered me a 30% refund to keep the trainers instead of returning them as returns have to go to America (there's no mention of this on their website). Terrible company and a complete scam. AVOID!

UPDATE 26/08:
Turns out if you spam them with emails (I sent over 20 to them) they stop arguing back and give you a full refund!! So don't give up and don't let them fob you off with a % refund to keep the item!

I strongly recommend that people do not…

I strongly recommend that people do not buy anything from Golfado. I ordered some Titleist balls from them. When they were eventually delivered I noted that the box was ripped (clearly second hand) the golf balls were the wrong shade of white compared to other Titleist balls I have, and when I tested them on a GC quad they had consistently higher spin rates than the genuine new Titliest (about 400 - 500 on average). I think these are potentially old Titliest's which have been resprayed to look like new. Anyway I asked for my money back and they refused to honour their return policy. Ultimately they said I would have to post the balls to the USA if i wanted my money back. Ultimately it looks like i will have to complain to the regulators to get any action as its clear they are not a reputable company.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. Received my item which was to small have requested a return and they've stated its return to America which is very costly and complicated. I have to pay for this return or get 30% refund and keep the item.
This site is not a UK based company even though states London.

This is a legitimate SCAM....!

This is a legitimate SCAM....!

My wife recently ordered what she thought were some new running shoes from this website - a few days on, no communication on the order or update despite efforts to chase?

I've since read into this business in a little more detail, I only wish my wife had referenced Trust Pilot prior to making the purchase, we are now onto the bank to try and reverse the payment on the basis this is obviously a scam site, offering either fictitious goods, or counterfeit goods!

I can't believe that trading standards haven't done more to close these pop-up fake businesses down, we now have not only the annoyance associated, but the inconvenience of having to deal with the bank to try and reverse this transaction.

Please take caution & AVOID this website/fake business at all costs - Blatant scammers! I actually believe, of the very few positive reviews written on Trust Pilot, they've been done by the business themselves or associates of, it's an utter joke!

SCAM COMPANY

I suspect this company is based in China and not the UK as per their website. If you do a check on Companies House, you'll see they have been trading for less than three months. This is a SCAM. Order took 2 weeks and trainers were fake. No reply to emails for a refund

Genuine company or not?

I have been dealing with this company for two weeks i cancelled an order within an hour of placing it which was within the 24 hour period stated in terms and conditions! they said it was already processed i protested and they said after a lot of emails exchanged that they would issue a refund l! then they say it’s in it way! Their customer services is a joke and if my refund is not with me by friday my fears that they are genuine will have been right! however if the refund does come through i will retract any negative remarks!!!

AVOID

AVOID
Scam - received my trainers and they broke after wearing them twice - quality was appalling. Asked for a refund as per their refund policy, offered 30% then 40% and suggested I gift the (broken) trainers to a friend. I have repeatedly asked for a free shipping label as per their refund policy and they repeatedly reply saying they need to be returned to the US. I believe even if I return to US I will not get my refund. Would like to know if anyone has done this and got a refund?
