Rude and unprofessional

The driver for the Monday morning, 1/27/20, at 11:50 from Tysons Corner to Manhattan, was extremely rude and very unprofessional. First she had her water and supplies taking up the first row. I asked her if I could just move them to one seat and not two and she yelled, yes yelled at me. I ended up having to get off the bus for a medical emergency and she was very, very rude. I have to say I will never take your bus again and make sure everyone else I know does not take your bus. I am going back to VAMOOSE, they are professional and courteous.

Mostly great, with a few small complaints

For me, the convenience and low prices are key. I have easy access to the Cambridge > NYC bus. Negatives might be:
The Alewife stop had moved from street-side back to inside the station, with only a small rain-streaked note on the ground to indicate the change.
The bus I was on rattled a lot - I'm glad it didn't break down when I was on it!
Most trips water bottles are handed out, but on a recent NYC > Cambridge run there was no water and the bus arrived 1 hour late. The schedule reflects best cases, I suppose. The buses I've been on have never arrived on time...always late either by minutes or more.

Orders tickets a week in advance

Orders tickets a week in advance. Day of departure my daughter got to the station 15 minutes early and watched the bus take off with out her! Totally uncalled for and left her stranded in RI. How does that happen?? Horrible experience and will NEVER use GoBus again.

Convenient and inexpensive way to get from Newton to Manhattan

Going to NYC by bus is very easy. The buses are clean and comfortable. I have never taken the train so I can't compare other than to say that the bus much cheaper than the train. And if you live near either Riverside Station in Newton or Alewife station in Cambridge, it is really easy to catch the bus. The only inevitable downside is that, if the bus runs into traffic, then it will be delayed.

Poor customer service

I would give a zero star if I could.
Perhaps the customer service people had a lot of bad experience with their customers in general. But even so, that does not give you an excuse to be rude to other customers. After reading hundreds of other reviews about go bus on yelp that their experience riding buses (i.e. waiting for more than an hour, driver not knowing the route, and on and on) were often horrible, I am determined to never use their service again. Yes, not everything can be perfect and bus fares a lot cheaper than train tickets, but there are about 10 other options to choose.

First trip and not impressed

Not impressed on my first trip. GO bus was substituted with parent company Academy's older buses on both directions. Although the seats themselves were comfortable, They did not have the 110V as advertised for GO so I could not charge up my tablet to work on a project and the wifi was spotty so internet on my phone was not an option (both directions). Additionally, on the return trip to Boston, the driver made several personal calls (I was 2 rows behind him). Although it was a hands free device, I was uncomfortable knowing that he was dividing his concentration between traffic and his calls. Will probably not be using GO again.

First of all

First of all, I’ve been to all different buses to Washington DC, Boston and Tennessee. Go buses has apps that I can order or get ride for it. It’s amazing to do that. It made my reservation so much confinement for me do that. Most of all go buses stops in Alewife where it takes me 11 minutes to walk to from station to her place. I love go buses for that plus the driver never goes the speed limit. They always go over it. To make the trip better every time.
