The courier is now refusing to take the stars and asks you to go downstairs to pick up your delivery. So exactly what am I paying for??? Many times the courier does not deliver, for example a bottle of milk, probably because it's too heavy. So I might go to the store myself.
Profit first ethic company, customer doesn't matter
Unlike other reputable delivery services. Glovo does NOT remind you that you're about to renew their "Prime". They do this to hope people forget and they then earn a few more euros. They then point you at their terms and conditions that state you should give them 24 hour notice to cancel. However, when you had thought you had already cancelled, and had no confirmation by email or app to say that it was going to renew (like the majority of other companies do, just eat, uber eats etc), you'd not expect to suddenly see another outgoing payment unexpectedly. Well with Glovo, you should expect this, and expect no leniency to their terms and conditions, you gave them your money, and its now theirs, no consideration, no thought, you're just a profit in their eyes, not a person. Their support may as well be AI, no emotion, no understanding, no empathy, no thought other than their strict written rules.
Deleting your account and data was quite difficult to do as well, you have to request it, they then email you back asking why, you have to reply several times, despite asking it to be removed each time, before they will finally delete your account and data. They still keep certain data:
"Remember that we will retain your data for the period established by law for purposes such as the execution and defense of lawsuits in which Glovo may be involved.
In any case, this data will be blocked or stored separately, so it will not be processed for any other activity. 😉
We also remind you that, specifically and without this being construed as a limitation, we may retain your data once your cancellation has been processed (in accordance with the table specified in Annex II of our privacy policy), but at the end of these periods, we will permanently delete your data."
Constant winking emojis, used in the wrong places, especially with a disappointed and annoyed customer doesn't help.
So my opinion is: avoid Glovo, avoid Glovo Prime, use a more customer focused company such as Uber Eats/Just Eat

Stay away from this company. They are scammers. They charge me for glovo prime every month but the service was never activated. I request to close my account twice already and nothing. They still charge me.

And they even have the audacity of trying to convince me that a refund of what I've paid was enough compensation. Their agent even said to me with a straight face that they were sorry that their "solution" was not to my liking.

Got double charged, the Glovo app is quite broken. And there is no place to call or message if there is a problem - they made it very difficult to reach them. Horrible.
I ordered over €60 worth of food…
I ordered over €60 worth of food through Glovo and received only 4 sodas — no meals, no explanation. The driver blamed McDonald’s, McDonald’s blamed the driver, and Glovo refused to take full responsibility.
Instead of sending the missing food, they offered partial credit I can’t even use, because I’m not from this country. I asked for a full refund to my card, and they refused. Support was useless — they kept repeating the same lines and refused to escalate my case to someone who could actually help.
I’ve had to contact my bank’s fraud department just to try and get my money back. This app is a scam, plain and simple. Zero accountability, zero service, and zero respect for customers.

Inexisting delivery service
After 1.5 hour of waiting for pizzas, we had to pay for a taxi to pick-up our orders ourselves. Needless to say that they were cold... Someone called us but impossible to know when we could get our delivery and what had happened
One week later someone calls me and asks me to contact them thread the app. when I do this Glovo tells me that nobody called... If you call back the number, an answering machine tells you you should contact them through the app.

Food Very Late, Very Cold
The company delivered the food very late and it was very cold. If the company cannot get close to the time it estimated, they should allow you to cancel and get a full refund. When service works, great. When it doesn’t, Glovo customer service is trash.

Paid for Missing Items — Glovo’s Support Made It Worse
I had a terrible experience with Glovo in Serbia. I placed an order and half of it was missing, yet I was still charged for the full amount. There was no automatic refund, and I had to contact customer support myself — which already tells you something.
It took them over two days to respond, and when they finally did, I got a generic, cold reply with no apology, no empathy, and no real effort to fix the situation. The whole thing felt like they simply didn’t care.
This was my last straw. The service is unreliable, support is unhelpful, and the app clearly prioritizes profits over customer experience. I’ve deleted my account and won’t be using Glovo again.
