Thorough balanced Ireland experience

The small group tour was very well paced with a good mix of included tours, optional excursions and free time. We were able to enjoy many areas of Ireland and appreciate their similarities and differences. Best of all, we had opportunities to interact with local people.

Long bus rides for little going on…

The bus rides were very long and several of the days did not have that much going on of interest. It seems like some of the stops were just to break up the drive.

The tour director could have filled in the time on the bus will more discussion of things of interest - nothing about the moose or other animals, the current situation in NFLD re education, employment, etc.

Some of the northern hotels were very rustic - at the Dockside the water was undrinkable (tasted like fish).

The places visited were wonderful

The places visited were wonderful, hotels great. The tour guide was condescending, and left our group with inadequate directions. Several got lost in unfamiliar cities. Wemissed sites, like the LaScala Opera House, because she gave vague directions on how to get to them instead of leading us there. Very disappointing

Ireland at it's best

The tour was well set up, timed well and hit a great many sites that on our own would never have found or knew their history. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable, expertly handled on many tight roads.

A wonderful experience of Ireland

We have just returned home after the Globus 13 day Scenic Ireland trip, starting and ending in Limerick.
First time travelling with Globus, small group (25 passengers) and we will happily travel with them again. Safe and expert coach drivers, knowledgeable tour leader, hotels and included meals were generally very good, optional excursions well worth doing, and a beautiful country to enjoy!
