Paid Hundreds for Items That Were Never Delivered
I had one of the worst international forwarding experiences imaginable with Global Shopaholics.
I shipped a $309.95 Walmart order to their warehouse for forwarding to Germany. Global Shopaholics charged me $229.81 in shipping, and I paid $185.77 in customs fees — a massive cost that I accepted because I trusted them to forward my entire order.
Instead, I received only two items: a throw blanket and a comforter set.
Missing items (value $193.97):
Bed sheets
Picture hanging strips
Closet organizers
Their system showed two boxes shipped, and I did receive two boxes — both containing only bedding. The remaining items were never forwarded to me.
I contacted support multiple times through chat and email and was ignored for days. When I finally received a response, Global Shopaholics claimed they “shipped everything they received from the seller,” yet they provided no intake photos, no weight logs, and no proof to support that claim.
After days of being ignored and repeatedly told that “everything had been shipped,” Global Shopaholics suddenly located additional packages only after I posted a public review. These packages had been in their warehouse the entire time, yet they were never matched to my account, never documented, and never included in the shipment I paid hundreds of dollars to receive. The timing speaks for itself.
What makes this worse is the documented shipment weight: 16.8 lb.
The two items I received do not weigh anywhere near 16.8 lb, even with packaging. That weight is consistent with the full Walmart order — including the missing items — yet those items never arrived. This discrepancy was never explained or acknowledged.
If items were missing when they arrived from Walmart, Global Shopaholics should have:
Documented it
Reported it
Confirmed it with me before charging international shipping and customs
Instead, I paid hundreds of dollars for items that never reached me and was essentially told, “not our problem.”
Global Shopaholics took custody of my order, charged premium forwarding fees, failed to ensure the shipment was complete, and refused accountability when items went missing.
Bottom line:
If something goes missing, you will get excuses instead of solutions. I strongly advise against using this company unless you are willing to risk losing expensive items with no meaningful support or reimbursement.

I provided all tracking numbers to your support team through the chat feature along with my Suite Number (SN) so the packages could be matched to my account and processed correctly.
Your commercial invoice and packing slip for shipment GLZF1195 list all items, and the shipment weight (16.8 lbs) reflects a complete order rather than a partial selection.
However, upon delivery, I received only two items. As stated in your response, the remaining packages were later located in your warehouse and uploaded back to my account. This indicates that the items were already in your possession but were not matched to my account or included in the original shipment.
Because of this, I was charged shipping and customs based on a shipment documented as complete but not fulfilled as such.
I am continuing to pursue resolution through the appropriate channels.

Fraudulent Shipping Quote - Account SN-77575
Dear Global Shopaholics Team,
I am contacting you regarding my consolidation from February 5th. Your live chat agent informed me that my shipping fee is over $1500 and requested payment via bank transfer.
This quote is demonstrably false and fraudulent. Based on the weight and dimensions of my packages (including item 3347581775), the shipping cost should not exceed $300.
I demand:
An immediate correction of the shipping fee to the actual market rate.
The activation of the credit card payment method, as the real value is well below the $1500 threshold.
If this is not resolved within 24 hours, I will be forced to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and initiate a legal dispute through my bank for "Service Not Provided" and attempted overcharging.

One suggestion for improvement: the images taken after consolidating the packages are sometimes not so good, but it's nothing that bothers me too much. The Gs are great.

This is a scam company; I don't recommend working with them. They lost my funds and don't respond to my messages via chat or phone. Their service is terrible and their treatment is awful. They are frauds and haven't resolved my problem to this day.

Initially, I tried to have items shipped directly from Dillard’s to their facility, but Dillard’s does not ship to Global Shopaholics. This forced me to use their assisted purchase service, which came with additional fees and unexpected bank charges. Moreover, the operating hours of Global Shopaholics were inconvenient for someone ordering from outside the US, making communication difficult. After placing my order, I waited several days, only for it to be canceled at the last minute, leaving me without the items I needed.
