GRI Standards for the Denim Industry
GRI connected me to the global knowledge and information on ESG and SDGs. I live in Japan, Hong Kong and China, and have been working in the toxic Denim industry for 35+ years. Seeing some changes in the denim industry, but still not moving fast enough, especially in the Scope 3 transformation and reporting. Hoping I would be able to bring the GRI standards to the denim industry, and be one of the game changers in the denim industry.

Practise makes perfect
The 4 practical exercises albeit simple help one use both the impact and risk/opportunities perspective. The exercise is not daunting.
how to apply the principle in real life.
the training is interactive and structured. however please provide more case studies.
Clarity of the concepts
Clarity of the concepts and the importance of using GRI102 and IFRS S1 and S2 together for effective climate change management.
The content is useful and practical.
needed for people who are looking to improve in the sustainability reporting career
self paced which made my learning experience easier since I am already working.

The topics delivered are relevant to my work. However the cost is very high especially for people like me who are self-financed and subject to currency exchange controls
Course Module
A course that delivered its promise
The course is well structured. The training materials are very comprehensive and helpful. The concepts and principles and their application using case studies were insighful.
The course 'GRI-TNFD Interoperability: A Guide for Nature-Related Reporting' gave me a comprehensive understanding of GRI-TNFD interoperability.
The course,"GRI-TNFD Interoperability:A Guide for Nature-Related Reporting" offers deep insights into the similarities and diffeneces between GRI 101 Biodivesity 2024 and the TNFD Recommendations. It serves as an excellent educational guide for reporters assesing nature- and biodiversity- related impacts. The course also provides a solid foundation for understanding Dependencies,Risks, and Opportunities based on both impact materiality and financial materiality ,as well as the flexible approach of TNFD. This course helps GRI reporters to gain a comprehensive understanding of TNFD, and, conversely, supports TNFD users in acquiring knowledge about GRI 101 Biodiversity 2024 and the overall GRI Standards.
Interactive elements and new module
I really like the interactive elements especially in the Sector Standard modules, as well as the deep dive into selected topics in the Sector Standards. I hope GRI can provide a new module related to the new Energy and Climate Change standard soon.
waste management to sustainability
It is very useful knowledge about waste management and the way to disclose in the report to let stakeholders know the actions of the business.
