Travelling south on a Thursday last month, I found myself stuck in a traffic jam when the engine management light suddenly came on. A quick look through the owner’s handbook made the situation seem quite ominous.

On the off chance they could help, I called Glenrands in Portsmouth. Although they told me they were extremely busy, they kindly said they might be able to use their diagnostic equipment to identify the problem.

I arrived at around 11:30am, and about an hour later they took the car into the workshop. After running the diagnostics, they found that the supercharger was not getting enough air. To my great relief, they immediately assigned two mechanics to the job and had the issue resolved within an hour.

Having now returned safely from my road trip to Spain, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Natalie and the whole team at Glenrands. Their professionalism, efficiency and friendly attitude turned what could have been a holiday-ending problem into a minor inconvenience. I couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend them.

Unfortunately not installed at manufacture as Hendy’s (supplying dealer) failed to tell me when the order cut off had been reached .
