Total Scam! Stay away from this business at all costs. I ordered what I thought was a legit product at much over the regular value for the product as I needed it quickly and it was available in Ireland. When the product arrived it was a Chinese copy and failed to work. Unfortunately I didn't use PayPal so I had to pay the cost of the return. When I returned it the company said " sorry no refund because the product had been opened" It arrived in a ziplock bag so that was totally bs. Now they can resell the faulty Chinese knock-off again and they keep 100% of my money.

This company sells gadgets that dont work, in july i ordered the Car Auto Multifunctional FM Transmitter from them and followed the manual instructions but it just won't work.

I tried it in another car but still no luck, I tried someone's transmitter in my car and it worked no problem. I called them and a guy told me to email, which I did way before even calling the number ... haven't heard back from the guy or the email... 30 euros down the drain, I for one won't be going near this website again

I've used this site before. Range of parts is limited but improving, price and service/delivery is very good. Would use again.

I bought CR123A rechargeable batteries from Gleanntronics.ie and what I received were fake, falsely rated, and completely non-functional. After some testing, it became obvious they were not as described — dangerously misleading.

I later found a review by Mike Kelly (3 March 2023) reporting the exact same issue — and that was over a year ago! That means the seller was fully aware these batteries were faulty, yet continued selling them. This is not just dishonest, it’s outright fraudulent.

When I called to complain, the seller refused to accept any responsibility, was rude, aggressive, and made it clear he had no intention of resolving the issue.

This man is knowingly scamming customers. Do not trust this company. Avoid Gleanntronics.ie at all costs — you're better off burning your money than risking your safety and wasting time with a thief like this.

Horrible experience. Parcel arrived damaged and it was never replaced

Ordered on Wednesday the 5th website said it would be delivered on Friday keep in mind this was paid postage, a week later (yesterday 12th) I called customer service and the guy on the phone wasn’t helpful told me it wasn’t his fault and didn’t offer any apology, the package arrived today, it was packed so badly that fastway had to repack it in a new box, not only that but the original shipping label was printed with an inkjet printer which has been completely smudged which probably explains the long shipping time as fastway had to figure out where it was going, the contents of the pack both aluminium tins were very dented as there was no cushioning inside to support them.

Absolutely rude ignorant person who ripped me off. Absolutely no customer service. Avoid at all costs an go elsewhere.
Paid money and 2 weeks on with no delivery.

Ordered from them on a Tuesday, the product that a ordered was a tad overpriced ,but I needed them fast .
Should have had the product by the latest on Thursday.Now a week later the parcel is going from one fastway to another ,I know that this is the fault of the stupid fastway ,but when I spoke to a person at Gleanntronics he was very rude on the phone and talking over me

I bought rechargeable CR123 batteries from this company - four online paid for by card and two collected in person, paid for in cash.
Within a week, one battery failed completely and the others either failed to charge properly or wouldn’t hold charge.
I advised Gleanntronics, marked the dud and returned all six batteries. This return was acknowledged by the company. As is my right I requested a full refund for all six batteries as I had noted that their returns acknowledgement stated that I would only be given credit against my next purchase - contrary to EU consumer protection legislation.
Over the next month, and despite emails and voice and text messages, I was completely ignored and had to resort to raising a dispute with my bank.
A few days ago a refund was given but only for the four batteries bought by card and not the two paid for in cash - lesson learned.
What should have been a very simple process has cost me unnecessary time, money and frustration.
My advice is to be very careful dealing with this company. They may have what you want but if you experience problems then don’t expect their after-sales service to reflect their initial selling enthusiasm.
If the company wants to dispute any of the above I have a record of everything, so feel free.

Run by a really friendly and helpful chap called Martin. The site has a great selection of 3D printing/hobby and electrical supplies. If you live close to the collection point you can do same day collection if you place your order early! Great service to date 💪

As a go to person to help fix small projects, but at the same time trying to support local businesses I decided to give Gleanntronics a try.

Their website looks great with lots of selection and fair prices compared to China suppliers and touting a way faster delivery time. There is even reassurance to contact them if your order is not received within 3 days of shipment notification.

Unfortunately - checking the tracking number provided - the order looked "hung-up" at the courier side - going well into the 4th day so I emailed gelanntronics providing as much information as possible (order number - tracking number - screenshot of courier tracking status) to which I got no reply. Not what I would expect after being charged 7.50E for the courier service

My follow up emailed requested a refund since they didn't react to the first email. Their reply could have gone either way, while they acknowledged my earlier sent email as received and stated my query wasn't clear (despite all information provided) as an excuse not to get back to me until I wanted a full refund. The tone used raised a red flag to me and i forwarded all the communication to PayPal to raise a Dispute case who refunded me within 10 minutes.

A shame, as I sometimes do come across problems with local suppliers and often enough it can get sorted out, but the tone and level of customer service is at the end of the day my make or break in doing business, especially as a first-time customer.

So unfortunately, I had to disappoint my own customer as we needed to get a quick order in from Amazon.

I hope this review reaches gleanntronics for I sincerely wish for them to do better and wish them the best of luck - I do feel the courier (fastway) has a lot to answer for as well, but in the end of the day it is glenntronics service to the end customer that impacts the customer experience.

In trying to not use Amazon anymore, gleanntronics feels like a great find! My items showed up in less than 24 hours and were certainly cheaper than I could see them anywhere else online.

This shop has everything, best prices super customer service really nice guy to deal with. I was looking for a very unusual SH1.0 3PIN CONNECTOR these are almost impossible to buy unless you order from China.

I started browsing his online shop and seeing what else I could order, the prices are cheap and he has really good stock.
