Nice company and excellent execution of the job

(translating here what I have just posted on maps.google.ch)
I moved within Dübendorf towards the end of 2021 and I wanted to have in my new flat a neat LAN/Ethernet cable between my workroom and my living room (~20m).

I first got from another company an offer to do this for CHF ~500 -> this exceeded my own estimation of CHF ~300.-.
After having sent to Glattwerk an email describing what I wanted we had a short call to clarify details and then Glattwerk sent me an offer for CHF ~350.- .

The employees of Glattwerk arrived on time, they installed their own (thick) cable (not sure to which CatX-standard it complies) through the existing cable routings in the flat's walls, installed in the workroom a LAN socket and in the livingroom terminated the cable with an RJ45-plug.
They've been very kind, competent and quick (all done within ~30 minutes).

I never had any kind of problem since then (1Gb/s).
(I don't smoke (anymore) in the flat - be aware that when smoking in the flat then connectivity problems can arise after a few years with cables/switchers/routers/PCs as something emitted from cigarettes "sticks" everywhere and you might have to swap everything - that's at least what I experienced)

In February I upgraded at home my switches & LAN-cards from 1Gb/s to 10Gb/s (HW is finally becoming affordable and passively cooled, yuhuuu!!) and I was absolutely not sure if this cable would have been able to transmit data at 10Gb/s... and it turned out that this was absolutely no problem: data transfer tests done in Linux with "iperf3" between my two PCs located in the workroom and livingroom showed 9.8Gb/s, and real filetransfers are done with ~1GiB/s, yooo!!!
I'm sooo happy that I did not have to replace the cable in order to reach 10Gb!

Thanks a lot Glattwerk!!! The initial contact through email and then phone has been very pleasant, I didn't have to wait for weeks/months to get this installed, the work and the materials (cable & plug & socket) were excellent, the costs were fair - I couldn't ask more - cheers :)
