While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. NOT RECOMMENDED due to Spam!
NOT RECOMMENDED!
I subscribed to its useless service as someone recommended me that Glassdoor has all the relevant jobs and no spammy ones will appear in your inbox. The reality is 180 degree opposite as Glassdoor is only filling my inbox with irrelevant, spammy and junk type job offers ona daily basis.
I urge people to stand up against such frauds and governments should ban such spammers to save time and efforts of hardworkers and should make stringent regulations for job portals and make it easier for us to find and apply to the best onesm

Don’t think there is anything I can add everything is here, Glassdoor remove reviews so what’s left is lies even suspect companies may be paying to have reviews removed! Tunstall healthcare was 2/5 now increased to 4.5 and all my reviews removed along with all the honest ones, Shame on you Glassdoor.

Used to be much better but since the integration with Indeed, the job search fuction is useless. It keeps on kicking out results that aren't relevant. Also it makes you input your job title and location in order to leave a review - unfortunately in my case, that would tell everyone who I am!
Finish setting up your expeience
I just want to do some research, but I can't get past 'finish setting up your experience'. I don't want to limit myself, but I have no other options.Total and utter waste of time.

It's really worrying that all I want to do is read some reviews, but I can't do that without handing over a whole swathe of contact information where you have to accept that 'Indeed' can contact you any time they wish. Thankfully there are other review sites where you can get the same kind of information. (On or around 7th March '26)
Search is useless
Used to be decent when job hunting, but now it gives jobs that are in the United Kingdom as a whole, even when you search your own town, so not sure what’s wrong with the search but it’s now a complete waste of time
Had an absolute fabrication of a review…
Had an absolute fabrication of a review made against my business. Sent glassdoor all the appropriate information and they refused to remove the review. I then reach out to current and previous staff and asked if they would provide a honest review which they did, and none of the reviews are showing.
Glassdoor - not what it seems
Glassdoor is supposed to be a place where staff and ex staff can place anonymous reviews that employers cannot edit or remove. But it's not true - if a review does not fit a tight criteria Glassdoor simply removes it, meaning it is not an accurate reflection of an employer at all. They are selling job adverts - they have an interest in making potential employers seem attractive. Con.
Broken Website
Recently signed up to search for a new job. Couldn't sign back in the next day and had to create a another account. This is basic functionality and its the last thing you need when busy searching for jobs. The website is broken.

Was able to prove fake review but Glassdoor wanted payment to comment, not remove. What an con this business is.
Logging on is too much hard work
Logging on is too much hard work, I gave up. Just accept reviews for care workers and design a website that people can use.

Barchester care homes .DO NOT PUT YOUR RELATIVES into these fake homes .
Barchester care homes may look very attractive and that is to give you a false impression. Nothing is in favour for your loved one . Kings Park care home in Ferndown leaves patient alone at Christmas time , does not carry out the activities shown , . Staff are fired immediately if they raise any concerns and shockingly the residents are also served notice for any negativity. Do not be fooled by what you see . From an NHS nurse for 30 years . Smaller care homes are a better choice . Awful company .
Removed my review
Removed my review. There was nothing wrong with my review, I wrote within the guidelines. They removed it because they work with the companies and only let a small number of bad reviews through. Do not trust their reviews of companies they work with.
An absolutely useless platform to look…
An absolutely useless platform to look for the jobs. Lately, I have noticed that by the looks of it around 90% employers seem to advertise the available roles as a HR Formality only and they are not keen to recruit the new faces, as when we apply for the roles we get an email from that employer that the role has already been filled in whereas there is still a 2-3 weeks closing time for the role.
Horrible website
Horrible website, impossible to get any information without creating an account and going through 20 pages of reviewing a company because "you haven't reviewed a company in the last 12 months".
It used to provide insightful informnation back in the day.
Now it's impossible to read anything on the website. Further to that, some companies can remove the bad reviews by simply reporting them and Glassdoor promptly hides the review *cough cough the kitchen company with a small bird logo**
There's no point in writing a review…
There's no point in writing a review since they remove them!!!!
You can't delete your account!
I signed up for glassdoor to read reviews about a company I was interested in (you can't read the full reviews without an account - first red flag missed). This opened the (glass) door for a a daily series of spam emails, which despite selecting "unsuscribe" did not stop. So I tried to delete my account, but instead was taken to a help page, then invited to send an email to glassdoor requesting to delete my account. This resulted in yet another email from glassdoor with a link to delete my account, which took me back to the very same help page! So instead I requested my personal data to be deleted, and was told to expect a response in 30-days. I'm now stuck in a revolving glass door of spam emails
Dog shit
Dog shit. Just as LinkedIn does, they make it near-impossible to delete your account too, after you realize just how dog shit it is. Job recommendation have nothing to do with my skills/experience.
A compromised organisation who doesn’t seems to be legitimately concerned about the realities and general genuine disappointing
You must subscribe to read the reviews, so the 1 star it’s legitimate for the outstanding crap management together all the rest of their creepy Clients which they titled themselves as companies to work for . I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who got scammed from either parties.
Dear Glassdoors creators, this matter it’s your responsibility as well, don’t forget that justice still working around and soon people who suffered will stand up!
