Please be careful and forewarned

I would caution you with regards to… to GInfi broker platform . They are very good at convincing you to deposit more and more money, they have been trained to entice you and at the end of it, all your money will be washed out as there is no proper training given, they ask you to open trades after the US market opens , hiving you absolutely wrong advice, on what direction to open trades, asking you to open trades in the “ buy direction” when you find that the trades are going in the opposite direction and then they go home and there is no one to advise you on what to do in a crisis situation and you are left to sort it out on your own by which time your margin level has hit rock bottom and your trades are about to close and the next morning the GInfi rep acts cool and says “ why, what happened? You didn’t hedge correctly!”my relationship manager Chamara I think, thought or thinks that “ money grows on trees”. USD 21,000 washed out overnight !!So people be aware of this! I had read the reviews earlier on GInfi on Trust pilot and was forewarned but yet due to the temptation, fell into their trap. They will offer you bonuses . If you deposit a certain amount of money - this bonus is for just one month, so don’t fall for it; they will offer you commissions to be waived off , if you deposit USD 15,000 - don’t take it, they will offer you a rebate at the end of of the month saying that the money they have earned on your spread,,will be gifted back to you on the basis that you deposit 3 times more - don’t fall for it!! They coerce you and You will be tempted like I was but please think well before you deposit any more money. They are not happy with your USD 3,000 or USD 4,000, they eventually will want you to deposit much more , which they will work on getting from you.The GInfi rep is obviously getting a commission every time we deposit more money!! So be careful people, you will start making money at the beginning and they will urge you on to put more and more, not letting you withdraw anything but convincing you that if you have more you can go for big returns and in the end , you will lose it all! If you want to lose all your hard earned money, then trade with Ginfi. Bad advice, no proper training and all they are interested in is getting your hard earned money. At the end I had USD 4000 balance and I told the GInfi rep, let’s close all the trades that are running a loss and just work with the USD 4000, or let me withdraw it and I want to give up trading but he wasn’t willing to do either and said we could recover at least a part under his guidance again and the result was that I lost even the USD 4,000 that was left and all!! Very sad!!! The GInfi rep then promised me once again to help me recover what I have lost , also coaxing me to stay on, saying that it looks bad on him if I opt out and me being a sucker gave it another chance and put another USD 2000 with a bonus of USD 4,000 was given by GInfi but needless to say, with all wrong trading advice and of course wit my RM coercing me to put more funds in my account (which fortunately I did not) lost it all again except for USD403.00 which was left and was able to withdraw being the remnants of my hard earned money. So traders, I can only warn you. There are 2 companies interconnected- GInfi and Lekfi. Please take care. I repeat, I lost USD 23,000 in total Of My hard earned money!! All gone.

Deposit. Lose. Repeat.

I joined with Swissco in February 2025 & later migrated to their new platform, GinFi. This is how it all unfolded for me.

1) Early wins -> “Deposit more”
2) Big losses -> “Deposit more”
3) Margin calls -> “Deposit more”
4) Rebate offers -> “Deposit more”

Whatever the situation; good or bad, the only advice that I kept getting was to top up the account. The advisor I was assigned said he’d been in trading for almost a decade, but the kind of guidance I received shocked me;

• No stop losses on trades
• Risk management meant placing reverse trade when trend turned; sth even beginners are warned against.
• I was told to hold onto losing trades, which led to huge swap fees and deeper losses
• I was pushed to overtrade even when conditions were clearly risky

I can’t even call it just bad advice; it felt reckless. Then, when I tried to close my account, a rep casually admitted:
I was ‘trading directly against the broker’ & that ‘they don’t own physical shares’.
Their own ‘Risk Disclosure’ says;
“The CFDs offered by the company are OTC products”, “not traded on a licensed financial market such as an exchange.”

That’s when it started to click;
- If I lose, the broker wins
And suddenly the rest made sense; the risky strategies, the pressure to stay in bad trades & the constant top-up requests and how advisors sometimes push you to trade alone or over-involve themselves, depending on the client. Either way, it feels like they win, and you lose.

What hit me harder was that none of this was explained upfront. Not once. Even when I directly asked about how the platform worked, I was either brushed off or misled.

Yet their ‘Risk Disclosure’ says they’re “execution-only” brokerage; meaning they take no responsibility for anything their reps say or do.

GinFi (formerly Swissco) operates under Demeterer (Pty) Ltd; a South African FSCA licensed company. But the reps who handled everything; the ones pushing deposits and giving constant trading advice; seemed to be working from local or regional partner offices and didn’t seem to be operating directly under the licensed firm, even though the broker ultimately facilitated it all.

After all this I realized, this isn’t just abt one company. It seems after COVID, more brokers are using this kind of setup; a local team to recruit and advise, while the real company stays offshore & hands-off. When things go wrong, nobody’s accountable.

Avoid This Company

Avoid This Company – My Experience

I started 7 months ago with just $500. There was no proper guidance provided from the beginning, no stop-loss strategies set up, and I was always encouraged to use low margins. They kept pushing me to invest more every time.

In total, I ended up investing $7,000 and lost everything. There was no support or proper handling of trades throughout the process.

I strongly advise against doing business with them

Such a bad strategy

Such a bad strategy. Makes us to take big lots consuming 75% of margin leaving very less margin for opposite direction flow and not considering about risk factors. Once margin reaches below 100, then asking to add more funds to keep trade running.

Be careful.....scam...

I am from Sri Lanka. If you want to lose your money, join them. They will keep asking to deposit and don't care about the losses. I lost around $17,000, and still they are asking to deposit more to recover.... Most of the time they give useless advice to lose our money. They were running under Swissco and have now shifted to this. Scammers...

Scam Alert: Fake Claims & Harassment

I'm from Sri Lanka, and I received a call from a girl using a mobile number, claiming that their company is registered with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka as a financial service provider. When I asked for more details, she sent me a WhatsApp message with company information.

After reviewing the company, I found several negative Trustpilot reviews and sent her some screenshots as a response. Shortly after, I received a second call from a man using a landline number, who started scolding me aggressively.

When I confronted him about their false claim of being registered with the Central Bank, he admitted they were not. Despite this, he kept trying to pressure me into their scheme. Even after I clearly stated I wasn’t interested, he continued to bully and harass me.

I finally had to hang up to stop the harassment. Be cautious—this company uses deceptive claims and intimidation tactics!

Fraudulent and Manipulative Practices

Fraudulent and Manipulative Practices – Avoid Ginfi.com
My experience with Ginfi.com has been nothing short of a nightmare. I deposited $1,000 initially, but from the start, they employed manipulative tactics to maximize their profits at my expense.

Their spreads and swap fees were outrageously high, and they pressured me to trade without using a stop loss, forcing me to take high lot sizes. This reckless approach led to significant losses.

When I decided to withdraw my remaining funds, they called me and aggressively pressured me into taking another trade. That trade also resulted in a loss, and they pushed me to add more funds to "recover" my losses. Despite losing a total of $1,500, I have yet to receive any of my withdrawal requests.

Ginfi.com operates in a highly unethical and deceptive manner. They exploit traders through high fees, manipulation, and by withholding withdrawals. I strongly advise anyone considering this platform to stay away. Trading should be about transparency and fairness, but Ginfi.com offers neither.
