Very disappointing. Paid £16 per person for a ticket, for this as far as I can tell we got entry and a glass. There were 4 bars, a fairly average pub band going covers all afternoon, very limited seat... See more

Good way to sample different gin but no where near as enjoyable as in the past.

Not enough distillers there who can talk with inside knowledge about there products, entertainment was limited - but what was there was good,. Only 2 master classes and now the festival is heavily promoted by Schweppes which is definitely not the best tonic to serve with specialist gin. - bring back fevertree.

Would not pay to go again which is and shame as in the past these have been excellent fun events not cheap trade shows.

Fairly enjoyable couple of hours at the Gin Festival…

Fairly enjoyable couple of hours at the Gin Festival, more a trade show really, quite well organised, the tickets I had were purchased as a Christmas present and given to me with the belief that it would be an interesting experience for the gin lover. In the welcome room we were greeted by a chap with a couple of glasses emblazoned with the Gin Festival logo and "Schweppes" on the other side, these are your glasses, he said. Explained the process and where everything was. We went into the tasting room it was small and crushed, we managed to get round it and sample around 5 or 6 different gins, the various properties and values of each type of gin we tried was conveyed to us by the stallholders. Off to the shop and to see all the different gins available, it's very confusing as there's nothing to really base your choice on they are all different in their own way, you need to have a bottle of each as they all have their own signature. We needed food and downstairs there were three stalls given over to street food, one was pulled pork another a burger bar, we opted for the burger, a really tasty burger, "KickAss!" but that may have been the burger type not the name of the stall. It was very very good. A few tables had been provided to sit at it was busy too but eventually we squoze onto a table with others. We found ourselves in the bar, bypassing the cocktail bar, but it was our first real G&T, with so many on sale we asked for a random one, cost £5.00 each. There's a tag system for prepayment so that they don't have to deal with cash. I'd only charged mine up with £10 so that bought us two drinks. All very pleasant. There was a band from Yorkshire too. Two guys playing the guitar and washboard. Excellent entertainment. The washboard resonators.
Would I go again, probably not, no offers on, only thing you got for your ticket was access, a gin glass, a small gin guide and a cashless tag. The band made it all worthwhile. The crush in the tasting room was chaotic, uncomfortable and too hot. Didn't see how to get on the masterclass. Didn't want to have a gin cocktail. Gins for £5.00 that didn't taste as if there was any gin in, and we couldn't see the guy pour the drink, he stood right in front of the optic.

What a rip off!!!

What a rip off!!!
Offering a promotion on a popular social media site.
Gin, a branded Gin Festival Glass and Mixer all for £4.99 postage.

Sounds good until it arrives and it is just a cheap generic glass.
That coupled with no response to messages or Emails and deletion of the promotional post means I am now disputing with PayPal.

Let down by the delivery experience

Let down by the delivery experience. Order place delivery confirmed by UPS for Monday, UPS made no appearance, tracking shows item as out for delivery, wasted all morning waiting in for UPS.

Contacted customer service, they dismissed as shipping 3-5 days, my complaint is I waited in on the day UPS said they were to arrive, and I then had to wait in another day.

Not too impressed.

Craft Gin Club

A good way to sample gins, when your area has no specialist suppliers of gins that not the typical mass market brand names. The Ginfestivals are a great way to discover gins beyond those made by Multinationals.

Great swift delivery, would order again!

Ordered a bottle of the robin of loxley gin as a Christmas present for my gin loving mother! It arrived in good time to my work address, the only quibble I have is that I wasn't provided with a tracking number for Parcelforce in my dispatch email, which prompted me to email to find out where my package was. It had been delivered whilst I was away fortunately, but I would have liked to be able to see the progress of my order with the courier. Aside from this, very well packaged to avoid breakages and I can't wait to see my mums reaction when she unwraps it! Thanks ginfestival, will order again!

Bathtub Gin

I wasn't sure how the gin would arrive to me in a glass bottle whilst remaining in one piece, but the clever little airbag around the bottle kept it safe in transit. The gin itself tasted amazing - it won't last for long!

The fantastic gin festival!

I recently ordered a bottle of gin from the gin festival, and had to contact the company as there was a problem with my pay pal account. A member of the team called Jess was extremely helpful and emailed me several times until the problem was resolved. I would recommend the gin festival very highly, they were very helpful when I needed assistance. I eventually reordered my bottle of gin and it arrived in 3 days!
Great company!
Happy customer!

Excellent service

Ordered some gin glasses on line. They arrived on time and in one piece along with a little note from the person who packed them with a gin recommendation. Plus a few sweeties hidden in the packaging!!! Really excellent service.
