SCAM

Please don’t use this website I tried to cancel my order 10 minutes after placing it and tried to call and send emails every single day to make sure it’s canceled. They charged me twice and they told me we couldn’t find your order and they they said we’ll help made me wait 10 days and then told me sorry it’s already shipped and it’s final sale and you can’t return it

Cancelled item still charged

Order a pair of trainers, they had cancelled the order without notifying me, i contacted them to ask why no dispatch email to which they told me the above. They said no charge had been made to my account, then 7 days later they charged my account!

Ive opened a case with paypal.

If I could I would put a zero star. This site is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Wouldn't hold up to the price on the site and then sent the wrong size and wouldn't send a different size. Told me I'd have to buy it again on the site even though I didn't get the right size. They wouldn't even honor the previous price I bought it at, said that I would have to pay the current price nearly $100 more than I originally bought it for and they gave me the wrong size. There customer service is the absolutely worst I have EVER incurred. Seriously not joking, the absolute worst. Don't buy here. Save yourself the headache

HORRIBLE!!!

HORRIBLE!!!! I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a handbag I had been eyeballing at a good price on their site. I was notified 2 days later that my order had been cancelled with no explanation. Meanwhile they had increased the cost of the purse and it was still available on the website😡.

I called to try and see if they could help me to obtain the purse at the price I purchased it for since it was still available on their site, and I was told “flat out” that was not possible. If I wanted the bag I would need to now pay an extra $250😡. Worst website and customer service I have ever seen. I will never purchase from them again because of this. Shameful!

This is a horrible store

This is a horrible store, do not buy from it. I ordered few items from them, while they didn't say anything the items as final sale when you placed the order, but once the items arrived, and I want to request a return, they refused my request, because they said the items are final sale. Very unprofessional. The store will go branchy if they keep doing this to their customers.

I purchased Predire

I purchased Predire, a facial product, through Gilt. The Wand product was defective, so I reached out to Predire customer service. After several emails and finally no feed back at all, I reached out to Gilt Customer Service. I was informed that it was passed their 30-day return policy but that they would reach out to their vendor. After two weeks with no response, I reached out to Gilt again. They claimed that someone had followed up with an email to me, which I never received. Long story short, after 3 months I still have a defective product and its been 2 weeks since my last conversation with Gilt. Horrible customer service and terrible 3rd party vendor, Predire!

Stealing from the customers

I returned items in the same bag that came separately. ( Trouble QUALITY ). I was told they went to our warehouse ( wrong address) too now we don't have them sorry. So now I'm not refunded for two items because they went to the wrong address ,but it still their warehouse. REALLY? How dumb to lose customers over this, bad business. Customer get treated like crap now days. Two thumbs down and some more

I ordered a package 3 and half weeks…

I ordered a package 3 and half weeks ago and it’s still not delivered it’s been rerouted and changed so many times and gilt will not refund my money while it’s in shipping. Jen the supervisor at customer support did nothing but offer up excuses to why I don’t have my package but nothing to assist me in getting my package. I guess you get what you pay for and with gilt the gilt you feel is looking like an idiot for trusting gilt to provide you with products or service one gets what they pay for and with gilt your on your own

I sent an email asking to cancel an order that hadn't shipped yet. We answered and asked me to tell her my full account name. We told me we would help me, but I didn't get any more news. Hours later I receive an e-mail informing me that my order is about to be shipped. I am very sorry for this behavior because I have been waiting for an answer for hours and I have also sent several e-mails. I ask once again that ORDER NUMBER 1151258924 be canceled and to have an answer to my many emails!!

IT's becoming a SCAM!

They used to work great. Lately you have no answers or real answers. I returned 4 items. Shipped them from a Fedex Point return. Received and email confirmation about my return with Gilt and they were supposed to credit my card 7 to 10 business days later. NOTHING happened. 2 months later they say "their fullfilment center" is not sure they received the items. ITS A SCAM!!!! DONT BUY from gilt!

Profoundly unprofessional customer service. Promo code to claim 10% for first time purchasers was not sent. Item was ordered on the 8th of July , 2023 still has not arrived and no tracking provided. Gilt has charged me usd 30 for delivery though. The customer service cannot even define the date of arrival. Amateurs. EU buyers be careful.

Gilt sells fake luxury items (replicas)

I've been shopping at Gilt for several years. Recently, I ordered a pair of Tod's shoes and they were fake replicas.
I wrote to Gilt letting them know and to escalate this message in hopes that this will improve their operations. Instead, I got messages that will not admit responsibility and kept stating that their products are 100% genuine. So, I no longer trust their products and will stop shopping on their site.

On a more minor scale, I've purchased items that were defective and the defect was not disclosed. They did not let me return because it was sold as non-refundable.

Wish I had read the reviews here before…

Wish I had read the reviews here before ordering from Gilt. Ordered luggage that showed up dented and scratched. Now 13 days later I'm still getting the runaround from customer service on how to resolve the problem. Absolutely miserable experience if the item you order isn't exactly as described or there is an issue.

Poor quality and return process

I ordered a couple of necklaces that were $40-60 each and the quality was so poor it looked like it came out of a vending machine. Then when I tried to return it for a credit and confirmed via email they received it the credit was not added to my account. My email request had no response. Then a dress from that same order arrived with a broken zipper. When I again returned it, two weeks later and still no credit. Do not buy from this company.

Ordered brand name sunglasses. They were supposed to be MADE IN ITALY. Received very cheap quality glasses MADE IN CHINA. Already paid $9.99 for shipping and now paying $9.99 return fee to get a refund.
Will never ever buy anything from Gilt again.
