GigabyteNow should be GigabyteLater
Just an FYI — I attempted to get service from GigabyteNow. Despite receiving a written email confirmation that my installation would be completed today between 1–5 PM, I didn’t hear anything by mid-afternoon. I called for a status update since I had a 5 PM appointment, and was told that it’s a 1–5 PM window and that someone would contact the installation crew for an ETA. No one ever called back.
At 3:30 PM the crew finally arrived and said it would take about 1½ hours just to go from the street to the house, plus another hour to an hour and a half for a different technician to handle the modem setup. When I asked when that person was scheduled, they couldn’t say — apparently that’s a “different side” of the installation.
Wanting a GigabyteNow and not a GigabyteLater, I decided to look for a provider that delivers on what they commit to in writing
