Gift Box Sent to My Address -- Not My Friend's

I selected a box to send to my friend and was checking out with Pay Pal -- which redirected me to Shop Pay. Shop Pay messed up the addresses and had my address as the shipping address -- which I noticed immediately after order was placed-- and I emailed on their website to please send to friend's address not mine. I never got a response to my email from company and I received the gift box yesterday. Very frustrating -- looked for phone number but cannot find. Unfortunately, probably won't order from them again because of Shop Pay screw up. I saw in a previous review that this happened to someone else, too.

Long delivery time

I ordered a gift box on December 23. As of January 4, it has not been delivered. The company says there was a banner on their page that they would be out for a holiday break, but I do not recall seeing it. A notice upon ordering would have been appreciated. I would not have ordered had I known it would take 2+ weeks to arrive. The recipient had surgery and will be recovered fully before this care package arrives.

So happy with this gift box

So happy with this gift box! I sent to a friend who was in an accident. I was so impressed that they hand-wrote my message! It's those little details that set them apart from the others. I will for sure order from them over other companies in the future. Highly recommend!

Forgot to add a coupon code and they…

Forgot to add a coupon code and they honored it with a refund after I ordered. Then, one item was missing but the rest of the box was amazing. My friend loved it. They refunded me the missing item no problem. They were so easy to work with and I highly recommend them! The boxes are so cute.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I was super excited to send a family member a gift in another state, it seemed like it would be a lot easier than shipping a gift myself like I usually do. However, beware because they use ShopPay as the only method you can pay with. This became an issue because when the site redirected me to ShopPay to pay, all I did was one click to pay and checkout and unknowingly to me, ShopPay changed all my shipping information and autofilled with my own address. I didn’t catch this because the checkout screen didn’t show that it had changed my address, and I had already entered my family members address when I was checking out on the Gift Box Love Co website. This resulted in the box getting shipped to me instead of my family member. I reached out to the company to ask for a new label so I can ship it to my family member, and they essentially said it was ShopPays autofill system and it’s not their problem to fix it. I can understand it is not necessarily their problem, but this was the only method they allowed you to checkout with, and I don’t feel it is my fault that ShopPay changed the shipping address after I had already filled out the shipping information on the Gift Box website. How was I to know that ShopPay would change everything I already filled out?Overall I think Gift Box Love Co should offer other ways to checkout besides using ShopPay, because I’m sure I’m also not the only one this has happened to. I think they should’ve had better customer service and just simply emailed me a new label so I can mail it to my family member. This glitch is not the customers fault, but they had a “it’s not my problem” mindset. Instead I had to pay $15 at the post office to ship it to her myself, which was so highly frustrating considering the whole reason I chose to do this was to avoid the hassle of paying for and shipping it myself. The product seems like a cute idea, which is a shame because I don’t know if I’ll use them again because of the poor customer service with shipping and ShopPay issue.

I ordered a fathers day gift and it was never delivered , when I tried to follow up on it they said it was ,and basically no help at all , and Im out the money! dont buy from them total scam!

Delivery not guaranteed

Delivery not guaranteed. I ordered a gift box for a family member having cancer surgery & wanted it to reach her prior to her surgery so I paid for extra shipping. It was sent USPS and was not guaranteed the two business days as advertised, when inquired I was told that the day it is sent out does not count, long story short I insisted they at least refund the extra delivery costs. Well the package was never delivered so I reached out yet again & their response was yes it was. I had to open my own investigation with USPSto find out it had been delivered to the wrong address. Gift box love company was of no help & their responses were very condescending. Would not recommend
