What more can be said about this superb removals company. Gibbs are simply magnificent! This is the third time I’ve used Gibbs for a full house move and it did not disappoint. Excellent leadership gets things done right and provides reassurance, while polite and friendly team gets the job done, including packing and sorting. Amazing experience with Gibbs! We booked late in the day as our original removal team weren’t able to do the date.
Shelley was very helpful and reassuring throughout the booking and quote service as well as being very patient & and understanding when our exchange date kept changing.

An absolute amazing service! Made the stress of moving so much easier. Cannot fault the care and attention these guys made to our move. We have had numerous moves in the past that have always brought up issues, such as damage to property but had absolutely no issues at all. Not only attentive and hard working but amazing personalities from the team. Would 100% recommend these guys 🌟

I really love this company, they go above and beyond the normal call for removals and storage, we had two removals at different times, put it all in their storage and then did one big delivery of everything to our new house. They even brought over my suitcase with holiday clothes that had been sent by us to storage by mistake and saved the holiday! Super friendly, very professional, got us out of a very tight spot with one of our previous storage companies 48 hours after my SOS call. I so wish I had found them first.

We had issues and problems with another removal company which left us in a difficult position. So we contacted Gibbs removals who came to our rescue. On opening the unit the guys carefully removed items and informed me what was damaged and what was not in a very careful procedure. They did this without charging us any extra. I just wish we had found and used Gibbs first then we would not have had any problems. They helped us through what was a very stressful day. The guys were great from the outset until the final items in the house. Caring in every way. I would recommend them to anyone. Staff in the office to the guys on the day absolutely brilliant and thank you.

Moved house yesterday and had a great day with the lads despite a national issue with money transfer throughout our chain. Paul and the boys kept the mood of the day on the up despite the 26 degree heat, waiting around and not getting the keys till 4:30.
Shelley was great also when she came to quote and do an inventory, very professional and reassuring about the whole process. Which continued right up until the day despite her being on holiday!

As everyone knows, moving house can be a stressful process, but what fantastic service from Gibbs Removals in Peterborough, right from the start when meeting Shelley but when Ricky and Rio turned up exactly on time the service just got better. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, they were friendly, helpful, did everything that was needed, and more, in a highly professional manner. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Excellent communication from start to finish. On moving day Rob & Paul did a brilliant job. They were very friendly, there were some delays in getting my keys but they were very patient and I didn't feel under pressure. Thanks very much for making moving day as stress free as possible.

We have recently used Gibbs Removals for a local move on limited amount of stuff to be moved. From the 1st contact Shelley was friendly, helpful and professional. When it came to removal day the guys doing the move were again friendly, efficient and professional, and even offered to take additional items to what had been quoted which was greatly appreciated.

Further to this, unfortunately an item was slightly damaged during the move process, upon contacting Shelley regarding this again the whole matter was dealt with very friendly, more than happy to address the issue and covered costs for a small replacement part which remedied the small unfortunate damage.

I would highly recommend Gibbs Removals and would not hesitate to use them again despite the slight unfortunate damaged item. A shining example of great friendly local company.

Thank you guys once again. Shelley come to give me a quotation for a full packing plus removals service, she really put my mind at ease after a bad experience with another local company 4 years ago. On the day of her survey she went into detail of the whole process from packing day to removal day. Rob and team came the day before the move to pack all our belonging, they was very careful protecting our items even found an gold ring i misplaced over 3 years ago. On the day of the move they was great used protective furniture equipment to protect our tv's, sofas, mattresses, dinning table and chairs plus floor protection. We had to wait 2 hours for keys but the team just sat patiently. Fantastic service from Shelley and Rob [owners] a lovely family run company. Shelley was at the end of a phone or email when ever i needed help or advice. We shall be using and recommending Gibbs in the future.

A big thanks to Gibbs Removals for their short notice provision of an experienced removal porter to assist our crew in Thurning. We were bringing a baby grand piano down from Scotland and needed a 3rd operative to assist with getting the piano back on its feet. Due to the bank holiday weekend we didn’t get in touch with Gibbs until the day before however they managed to provide us with the required staff member in the right place at the right time. I would highly recommend Gibbs to any other removal companies looking for assistance in that area.

The Team who had to move my 2 bed flat on the 1st Floor with no lift, were super efficent, polite hard working and nothing was a problem to them and again at the other end 60miles away the whole expeirence was over by 2 oclock . Every thing was carefull packed and unpacked and position where i wanted it . Brilliant

I really was not looking forward to moving house, i tried a few companies and read all the reviews and picked the one with the best reviews, Gibbs Removals. it was plain to see why they have such good reviews, from start to finish the whole experience was handled very professionally but also our movers, Mark & Paul, made the whole experience completely stress free and their approach to the task in hand really made our move all the more bearable. Just a huge thank you to Gibbs removals for not just packing and moving me but from the outset they made it easy, unfortunately I was unable to exchange contracts until 6days before completion but Shelly at Gibbs was there to tell me not to worry they would be there to move me I’m now settling in and I thank the whole team for making the move very easy
