Wrong size case

Recently purchased case for my S22Plus, but in error I ordered a case for S22. Shoot me. I was upset because after two years my Ghostek Nautical case cracked. No longer waterproof. Since I ride my bike in crappy winter weather and I destroyed my previous phone with water, replacement is needed. Returning case was sort of easy. Hope to exchangefor correct size.

Great product all around

Great product all around from the quality, the fit, the feel and design i love everything about this case. I wanted something different than the usual otterbox for my new galaxy s24 ultra, so I found this company and I can honestly say I will be sticking with them from this experience on out. 10/10 and that's saying alot coming from me.
I dropped my phone so many times and even left it in the rain for almost a hour and I have zero issues with my phone. 2 of the times I dropped it was pretty hard and one of which was from about 10 feet high. Great product

Pixel 8a Ghostek Covert, Blue Limited edition.

Pixel 8a Ghostek Covert, Blue, 1 of 100 cases.

The good, the bad, the ugly.

First, it's a dark translucent blue on the sides, clear on the back; I'm not sure how much of the blue color will show on a black Pixel 8a. It is a gift for Christmas.

On the white case available for the Pixel 8a, it should show that blue, better?

I'm not a fan of gold trim around the camera hump, gold on anything. I would prefer if they stuck with their signature red around the camera hump. Let it become a company badge of honor, a feature of the brand. You can have any color you want as long as it's red.

The photos of the red corner reinforcement in the case don't show through the case as well as you might get the idea from the photos on the website.

At least on the blue color, a little of a bummer. Maybe on a white phone case, they would?

To be honest, it was either this Covert vs Ringke Onyx, not Fusion. The Onyx is well thought out; the rise of the case front and at the bottom of the front screen with a decrease in the center for swiping is nice.

The Onyx feels good in the hands, and looks nice, especially the green, nice high TPU corners.

But just having corner air pockets doesn't do it for me, even with the Onyx being such a nice case, one of the best Ringke has come up with. It is extremely thought out. It's hard to fault it.

This Covert has about the same hand feel, is not bulky, etc. The clear back seems to carry forward above the camera hump. The clear back shows off your phone's skin wrap or color.

With the Covert, you get the phone's camera hump open fully; keeping "The Day the Earth Stood Still" Gort helmet visor vibe.

The Onyx covers it up, losing a bit of the Pixel's look and design.

Which is more of a personal choice, I rather like the Covert visor look.

I think both the Covert and Onyx are the best cases both companies have made, luckily for the Pixel 8a.

I went with the Covert for the corner protection and paid extra for the blue limited edition as a guilty pleasure. It's not that much more expensive, a nice plus.

It's nice to know you have a unique case, 1 of 100, especially as a gift.

You can't go wrong with the Ringke Onyx; I would avoid that Fusion; just an opinion.

But in the end, I went with the Covert. It does have a clear back over the Onyx. It could see scratches, etc.

I do believe screen protectors and cases are expendable sacrificing themselves.

So if both do their jobs, with few scratches in the process, one can't complain.

Is every scratch on a case just a "badge" of honor?

Yes, I would recommend the Covert for the Pixel 8a. Love the blue.

As a side note, it comes in a nice box, important if it's a gift.

Case is very thin and flimsy

Case is very thin and flimsy, feels very cheap. The screen protector is just a vinyl sheet so there's no real protection and once it's all scratched up, which won't take much, you have to buy a whole new case. Way over priced in my opinion

I still have not received my case due to the Canada Post strike. Knowing this strike was going to take place, other means of delivery should have taken place.

Customer support needs improvement

I am a big fan of Ghostek phone cases. Unfortunately this last order I was disappointed with the service. On a privous order I had purchased a phone case for my daughter who lives in another state. This most recent order I logged into my Ghostek account and changed the shipping address to my billing address but after placing the order and receiving the confirmation I notice my daughters address was still listed as the shipping address. I immediately contacted Ghostek customer support via email since I could not find a phone number for them. A day later I got a response that the shipping address could not be changed because the case was in the shipping process.

Customer support needs to be improved to allow time to ammend orders in the event there is an error or problem.

Order not dispatched

I ordered on the 29th and was told it was dispatched to dhl. After 9 days it hadn't updated to i sent a email and had a response 11th saying the label was printed but won't be dispatched until 15th of January. So disappointed as waited for that to use new phone. Now I gotta try and find something else
