I paid £177 for a brand new ghd…


I paid £177 for a brand new ghd straightener and received a product that appeared used and poorly repackaged.
This resulted in almost three weeks of stress, multiple emails, and having to return the item myself. For a premium brand like ghd, this is simply not acceptable.
Although a replacement has now been dispatched, the process was unnecessarily long and frustrating for something that should have been straightforward.
I expect much higher standards when paying this kind of money. I hope the replacement I receive is finally in proper new condition.

Far too heavy GHD DUET BLOWDRY HAIR DRYER…

Bought the GHD DUET BLOWDRY HAIR DRYER BRUSH at over £300, and on receipt discovered it was far too heavy for me due to having arthritis in both hands and wrists. Customer services were no help at all, just confirming that to return the product it would be at my expense, even suggesting recorded delivery be used. I have suggested the weight of their products should be shown in order that customers can make their own decision based on a full and factual description. Nor would it hurt for them to state "this product is heavy and may not be suitable for all" I bought this product for ease of use due to my hand and wrist problems and now find myself to be£300+++ out of pocket

I received my order today and when I…

I received my order today and when I opened it realised the beach wave curler was not for me as it is a glove and tricky hand application so mediates tried to get in to my account to exchange it for a curling tong, but no option to exchange and to return it’s all down to you to cover full cost and insure it. Dreadful customer service. It was delivered by Evri so it would be easy for them to arrange returns via them at a low cost to the customer. Extremely poor customer service to say the least. Avoid and look for similar products where they do value your custom.

Really disappointed with the GHD Duet Styler

So disappointed with the Duet Styler, which I purchased just over two years ago, so out of warranty! Let's be honest, these GHD products are definitely not cheap at £370+ but to just randomly stop working a couple of months after the warranty runs out is just so annoying. I expected at least five years' worth of use when paying such a premium price. Will definitely not be buying GHD again.

One star is a stretch

One star is a stretch, I'm absolutely fuming. Made my order on the 21st of November after the delivery time (10 days! not including weekends) had passed I got onto them and my order had been "lost in transit" and I was told I'd have a replacement with me shortly. No new order number or tracking number sent until I got onto them again 3 days later and now there seems to be no movement still. To top it off they're now not answering emails. Lovely service, Never again!

GHD repairs by Rushdon Electronics

GHD repairs by Rushdon Electronics. Marvellous experience! Sent off my really old GHD straighteners after paying £29.99 in advance. Postage £8.95 so less than £40 which was a whole lot cheaper than £150 for a new pair! Had them back within a few days fully repaired and with a new cable. Working perfectly.
Communication throughout was great and I am really happy! Thank you!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Bought a Helios Hairdryer in March. Intermittent fault, sent back (eventually after having to prove as they requested videos of the fault!). Kept chasing to be told still being assessed but could I send proof of posting! Next day received a message from parcelforce about a GHD delivery, still have no idea what was wrong with hairdryer but have now received a replacement (hence why two stars and not one). Still no contact from customer service!

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. Spend almost £200 and get an unreliable product that ends up with a repeated pattern of thermostatic error every 4-5 months!! Go through the same process of return, battle customer service for someone to ring you rather than hide behind constant emails, request phone call or email from manager BEFORE sending yet another replacement, told yes we can do that, get another text to confirm replacement is being sent! Why would I want yet another faulty item??? Twice this has happened. STOP DODGING RETURNS because its outside of a 28 day policy. It's not the customers fault that the product is unreliable. Do the right thing and refund it.

Sent my 9mth old hair straighteners off…

Sent my 9mth old hair straighteners off as stopped working (birthday present from my children) after 16days with no communication, I WhatsApp, waiting a few hrs no reply. Called on phone 2hrs asked for call back. That was Monday now Wednesday no call back . No straighteners still no communication. Poor service for a very expensive product.

Highly recommend this company

This is the second time I have used this company for ghd repairs over the years. Both times I’ve had a brilliant service and it’s meant saving my 10 year old straighteners, rather than needing to by a new pair. The service is always quick, the price is great and communication is also good. I’m going to be sending my second pair off soon for repair too. I highly recommend this company.

Well chuffed with the service

Well chuffed with the service. This is the second time in many years I have used this company and both times I have been really pleased with the service. I dropped my GHDs onto the carpet on Sunday and it broke the chord. They are quite old now so I looked up the price of a new pair. Haha! Sod that, still far too expensive. So I went into the website again, filled out a quick form. Paid £25 and sent them away on Monday. I also had to pay postage at the post office which was about £7. I received the straighteners back today (Thursday). All fixed with an extra long cable. Saved me a fortune. I would recommend this to anyone as first port of call. Fast and efficient thank you
