Over the past couple of years, I’ve done a ton of research on saunas and cold baths. I originally planned to invest in premium options for both and even considered a full home renovation to support a contrast therapy setup as part of my wellness routine—but that turned out to be impractical.
After putting the idea on hold for a while, I finally decided to explore the more portable alternatives, and Vital Plus really stood out compared to the IcePod and others. The experience has been incredible—my sauna sessions are intense, the sweat pours off, and the ice bath feels amazing. I’m feeling better than ever and saved a significant amount without sacrificing quality or results.
I even brought both units with me on a two-week vacation—they’re that easy to set up and use! If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. Vital Plus delivers a premium experience at a fraction of the cost. I even had a minor issue and a concern and Joy and the owner made sure I got it all working and sent a back up part. Thank you!
I didnt want to buy a Vital + unless i knew their future included investing into a chiller that was capable of heating. Carl told me about the future projects Vital + were working on and the compatibility assurance of the one i was to purchase
Update after the reply from the company: No one has reached back to me with an update. The CS bot is giving me this generic message you are reading below. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEM. I HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED. I ordered in November, we are now in January. Check the reviews on FB. Users report all sorts of issues. I wish I can attach a screenshot, 56% of users do not recommend their product.
I've ordered a sauna on black Friday. It never arrived. The item simply disappeared from the tracking thread they provided. I've been back and forth with customer service for weeks, initially they advised me to track down the item myself via the currier companies (??). I haven't heard back from the curriers either so Vital+ proceeded to sending me generic repliers "we apologise for your inconvenience". They refused to refund or send a new item. I finally had to have my bank initiate a dispute on their end. Just the sheer effort of it.. you know. Not worth it.

Thanks Vital plus for great customer service in resolving a small issue i had with their discontinued original chiller. I’m extremely happy with my new upgrade from the original chiller to the Ultra X2 chiller with built in ozone sanitation and I can control everything on my phone which is so convenient!! Massive upgrade from the last chiller way more beefed up in size with a black moderne sleek look and cools the water down super fast. So far I can’t fault anything about it as my water stays clean for up to 6-8 weeks with my hydrogen peroxide top ups every now and then combined with the built in Ozone. Highly recommend Vital plus for your cold plunge products!

Sometime on April 2025 I bought the Infrared Sauna. I previously bought the Steam Sauna from Vital + but due to microplastics concerns I decided to upgrade to the Infrared. Upon delivery and after assembling, I had my first try of using it. I noticed that the temperature would reached only to 62 degrees not 65. Out of curiosity I check the timer as well, I use my iPhone timer and set it to 30 mins. When the iPhone timer was finished the Infrared Sauna timer has still 10 mins left. As I continue using for a few more days, I noticed that the timer was getting stuck for longer on random minutes before counting down to the next number. I had a conclusion that the temperature and timer are not accurate. So I contacted their customer support. After a few emails and waiting they finally offer a replacement unit less the infrared heaters. When the replacement arrived, I removed and replaced the old one. Tested….and same issue with the timer and heater. I send another email telling them about same issue with the replacement. And until now I haven’t got a reply from them.
I received a reply and blaming the setup and environment around the unit. This time no more to Vital+!

DO NOT order from Vital+ if you are in NZ/UK/US/Ireland or any country other than Australia.
They pose as an NZ company with a separate NZ website, indicate that shipping will take 1-4 days, then weeks later I discover my birthday present for my mum (water chiller which I paid $1400 for including $200 of NZ GST) never arrived because it was shipped from Australia and has been held up at NZ customs until I pay an additional $300 including $200 of NZ GST taxes that I already paid to Vital+. I stretched myself financially to get an awesome present for my mum, and this was a totally unexpected cost that I did not factor in.
When I contacted Vital+ they told me I’d have to pay NZ customs the additional $300 out of pocket, and then they’d refund me the $186 taxes I already paid them, still leaving me to pay an additional $114 that I didn’t expect.
When I suggested this was unfair as it was clear they are aware of this issue and do not warn their customers on the sales page or at checkout, they told me they’d escalate the matter to their manager, then didn’t reply for a week while my mum’s birthday present stayed stuck at customs. Only when I emailed again did they reply, but they just restated that I’d have to pay the $300 out of pocket, and that the $114 import fees are my problem. It turns out that the import fee liability is stated in the fine print tucked away somewhere else on the website, but not made clear anywhere in the sales process. No where on the sales page or check out pages did it mention that I would be liable for $114+ extra in customs fees.
Less important but still a bit shady: the “huge 30% Black Friday sale” turns out to be a fake sale that always exists, so they also trick customers into thinking they’re getting an expiring discount when actually it’s just the regular price that’s always on some kind of made up “sale”.
From my perspective, if a company chooses to do business in another country, the import fees associated with doing business in that country are the company’s responsibility and should be included up front in the cost, not something that the customer should be left to deal with unexpectedly.
Failing that, it should be stated clearly on the check out page that significant additional import fees are likely and will be the customers responsibility, so customers can make an informed decision when purchasing. If I could return the chiller to Vital+ and order from a more honest, NZ based company without paying this customs fee, I would.
Since Vital+ is aware of this issue and has decided to leave their customers to be surprised with it, I feel they are not acting in fairness or integrity.

Excellent service and support. Irene quickly arranged a replacement bath, after a leak developed on corner seam. I would recommend VitalPlus based product quality and service.
Had an issue with the hose connection and Irene was able to resolve it promptly when the part was unavailable.
Emails were dealt with quickly and she under the issue.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I never received my pod and they won't do anything to replace it. Just because the shipping company says it was delivered and had a photo of a doorstep.... The same doorstep thats identical to the other 89 townhouses in my neighborhood. Piss poor customer service and I will never recommend them.
The carrier left it on "A doorstep" not my doorstep. A photo means nothing when all the doors are identical. Sorry excuse for a business. Pathetic actually... To take someone's money and disregard them like trash. Your owner is a scumbag and I hope everyone sees this review so they know not to waste their hard earned money on a sham.

After significant research, we were super excited to purchase and receive our cold plunge and chiller from Vital+. Their promises of customer satisfaction and 7-day-a-week customer service, along with the great reviews here on Trustpilot, sealed the deal. But after we set up our unit, we noticed a constant, slow leak from the chiller. We reached out immediately via email (there is no phone number you can call), and it took several emails before an "AI" assistant responded, asking for our order# and ZIP code (which we had already provided, along with a copy of our receipt). We immediately provided this info and were told by the bot that a "human" would be contacting us ASAP. That was a week ago, and we have not heard ANYTHING from this company, despite our daily emails seeking support.
The cold plunge itself is excellent, and we'd love to use it, but the chiller appears to be malfunctioning. We want a replacement or repair; it is unacceptable to have it constantly leaking.
We are seriously disappointed, and unless the company resolves this immediately, we will be contacting our financial institution
EDITED 12/16/24:
We were contacted by the company's support manager in Australia who was appropriately apologetic and supportive in addressing our problem. She went out of her way to call us personally to evaluate our problems, then promptly dispatched a replacement chiller once it was determined to be faulty. We received the replacement in a timely manner, and they sent us a carrier call tag to ship back the faulty chiller at no expense to us. We are now very happy customers and hope to enjoy our plunge for years to come!
NOTE: The only thing this company lacks is a telephone number where they can be reached directly. I hope they will get this resolved ASAP.
