Operation Failed!

They definitely need some QA. Their NVR only works under certain subnet(s). I have other NVRs in the same setup which can easily get an IP from DHCP server under the same subnet and work. SCW only worked under one subnet.

Their error message is “Operation Failed”. A message with wisdom in every letter of it. Will be great title for this review TBH.

What part of my review is related to generic cameras? Your NVR is not even able to get an IP address in 10.0.0.1/24 subnet. It has nothing to the with the cameras. It can't even send a test email.

Everything works perfectly at my network. Only your NVR failed to join the network and it displayed a poor error message.

If you want to get better, first you need to accept you have a poorly developed/tested/supported product.

We do have a large amount of our customers with 10.0.0.1/24 range use. Keep in mind this is the default range for Xfinity/Comcast routers and a huge portion of our customers are Comcast users. These users are able to remotely access, send emails, and do everything through the network without any issues.

Excellence!

Fantastic Quality, Fair Price, Excellent customer service! I am looking forward watching this company grow and HOPEFULLY stick to their values and the quality of products.
I am glad I found them when I was spending days and days of researching security surveillance systems and didn't end up going with a overpriced commercial system.

SCW has some of the best customer…

SCW has some of the best customer service I have ever contacted. Shout out to Alan, Stu and anyone I forgot to mention. I would and will continue to use SCW for all my Video needs.

I recently purchased 2 Wasp Pro cameras…

I recently purchased 2 Wasp Pro cameras and was having trouble getting them to attach to my older NVR. I contacted support via the chat and they helped me right away. I was very satisfied with the quick shipping, quality product (I just got it but so far so good) and great support.

BEST IN THE BUSINESS

I looked at cheaper systems then I looked at the tech reviews. Most reviews had most security companies as non responsive and hard to contact. I have been a SCW customer for 5 years. Service has been fantastic. I upgraded to HD and stayed with them. Tech support is critical with the new high tech systems. Setting up the network is not an easy task. Thanks SCW.

We needed a replacement DVR for a legacy anlaog camera system. SCW found us a replacement and even came out to help set it up and check compatibility with the existing cameras.
