Dave and Hayley were brilliant. The weather was cold and wet but they were very professional and emptied the cottage in no time. Exceptional service. Definitely use them again.

The worst experience I've ever had with a company. Rude, sexist workmen who smashed an 120 year old very expensive glass cabinet, then left without clearing up (leaving broken glass all over our room). I was offered £100 compensation, when the cost of repair is £700. They clearly don't have any insurance even though I checked with them beforehand, and are now avoiding my calls. We are pursuing legal action via small claims court. Absolute scam of a company, avoid at all costs.

I have used this company a few times over the years and always excellent customer service and efficient packers/drivers. Great value for money and would highly recommend the services they provide.

This was my first time using this removal company and I am so impressed with the great level of service. Denise at the office is so helpful and the 2 removal men were friendly and quick. The job was done 2 hours faster than planned and the price was adjusted without any hassle. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend!

Great service, communications from Denise at the office are perfect and the drivers are one time and very helpfull. I have also found their prices to be cheeper than other companys in London.

Disgrace of a company. Avoid at all costs!!!
Moving house is stressful as it is - do not fall for this company. I told them exactly how many items I needed removing and double, triple, quadruple checked that it would fit in the van. 'Its a large removal van, you'll have so much space' they laughed. On removal day, a small van arrived 30 minutes late. Not the one they promised for the price I paid. Long story short, of course it didn't fit and I had to spend 1 hour calling alternative removal companies and luckily got a proper company to help out. Awful experience. Do not use - its not worth the stress. The frauds running this company haven't even responded to my email apologising

We used this company to clear out a hoarders second floor flat and 3 storage units. From start to finish they were very professional, their original estimate came quickly and the final price wasn't too much higher, and in my opinion was very competitive. Every phone and email query was answered quickly and honestly. The clearance team of 6 men and 2 vans completed the task within 2 days. Despite there being no lift at the property and it being filled with old newspapers/magazines and general rubbish they arrived on time each day, worked throughout without complaint and disposed of everything correctly. They also tidied up the car park at the flat and the internal stairwell before leaving. A similar story at the Storage Units, everything was removed and disposed of and photo evidence of the empty units supplied at the end. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again. A job well done and a huge weight off my mind !

Phone was picked up straight away, every single element was explained clearly, confirmed in writing via email clearly, the men were fantastic and worked really hard and were flexible and patient, and it was really reasonably priced. Definitely going to use again for our company. Really happy.

Simple, quick, easy - good service - this is the 2nd time I used Get Removals and they do what thye say on the box!

Get removals charged us for 4 hours and the mileage on 28th October this year. And we thought they were ok. We paid them a deposit of £100 when booking them.

1. The delivery driver turns up - really annoyed and shaking his head as they was no parking spaces left with the moodiest face ever! Nice start! He finally had to park 2 houses away. It is far but not exactly another country. He was moody and I mean awfully moody.

2. When I spoke to him about covering the mattress with a plastic, he said he wouldn’t get a grip. So where is his gloves that give him a grip? I told him to put his arm slightly inside but to keep the plastic cover on the mattress, he flung the plastic, made an angry annoyed face and walked off in anger to go speak to his partner to help h carry the mattress.

3. By mistake some of the small cupboards had cushions inside them and he talked and walked off when I was replying to him that I will remove them if he is fussed about the furniture breaking. Was so moody, I had to have loads of patience with this guy.

4. The partner who turned up with this moody guy did almost Nothing! Just carrying lighter items, walking really slowly while this moody main guy was quick and fast. It took forever to load and unload items because I felt the second guy was taking the mick.

5. I didn’t want to set these guys off in anyway, so had to keep quiet and put up with all their nonsense.

6. The moody guy initially tells me don’t help as it’s their job, now why on Earth would the second lazy partner ask my brother to help carry a box then?

7. The moody guy tells me to order 4 guys next time as it’s quicker! What? So you want more help for that lazy second guy around you to be more lazier?

8. I cleaned the toilet and bathroom as new tenants were taking over from my old place. This moody delivery guy goes in for a pee and leaves a few pee drops over the toilet seat at the back. Like why? Why did I choose this company. So disgusting!

9. Far too expensive, not worth the money at all! I had advised the company what exactly we had by 5 days before the delivery. They said they will try to take it all. I had to hire another van to pay for another delivery. The van was not big enough. I mean, why would you not send a bigger van? We accounted for every little bit on the list and still couldn’t take half of the boxes! They took all the furniture from a 2 bed flat and a third or less of the small boxes.

10. They broke serving plates that were in an ikea bag. You could blame that on me as I didn’t wrap that in bubble wrap but even if it was in bubble wrap, it would still be crushed as they tried to cram the boxes in the van.

Get a man with van! They are so much lovelier, friendlier and have no problems! They tell you the costs upfront and are great to deal with.

Get removals is no longer a good company to deal with. I spent £902 altogether with this company. They used to be good before! Ridiculous personnel and delivery guys! Unprofessional.

I highly recommend this company who provided me with an excellent service. I needed to have one large and heavy object collected from a seller and delivered to me. The delivery persons are helpful and friendly.
Not many companies are interested in just one object, this company is.
There is always a person at the end of a phone to help should one need it. Their prices seem standard as I compared with one other company. They are also reliable. If something goes wrong eg a van has to leave the road unexpectedly, they do all they can to put things right. Their communication is very good and one is kept in the loop at all times. I would use them again. Thank you.

I have used Get removals 3 times.
The first occasion they were great... The second time I used them for a move, the truck was over 5 hours late... they then tried to charge me for additional stairs (that didn't exist) and my partner and I ended up doing more of the lifting than they did (in hindsight I wasn't surprised given that the workers told us they earned below minimum wage and all the money went to their 'boss).

I was reassured that this was a one off, and that if I tried them again these issues would be resolved, so I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try once more... BIG mistake.

I hired them for a recent move - after sending two trucks for my first two moves (despite the fact I was moving more things) they sent a van... apparently this would have been because they had no 'trucks' available, this meant what should have been a 5 hour jobs, quickly became a 7 hour job... because the removal men spent 3-4 hours driving...

The company then tried to charge us hundreds of pounds extra, despite them sending the wrong vehicle.

To top it off, they illegally stored my card details and have since randomly charged my card for hundreds of pounds without authorising it with myself and / or even telling me my card details had been stored.

It appears to be a 'boss' in an office with a few assistants running some kind of crooked agency. I would avoid at all costs. I am currently taking them to court, use another delivery service.

I highly recommend this firm. They made sure to send me text messages and calls to ensure that the booking is correct. Two workers came who were amazingly polite and professional. They were gentle and at the same time extremely fast moving my belongings, and made sure that nothing is placed without support in the van. During the ride, the driver was carefully taking the winds and constantly checking if any noise is coming from the back.

Paid heavy lifting fee for moving a kitchen countertop, then they told me they couldn’t do the job because my items were too heavy and I would need to have 4 men. When I moved the counter with my partner ourselves previously.

Then requested to change my booking to a 3 hour later slot to fit in another customer. I obliged.

Then cancelled 4 hours beforehand saying a team member was injured - which I don’t believe as they seemed set to not want to do the job. So have excess storage fees to pay and need to take a day off work to move items.

Unreliable so won’t use again. Nice customer service though in a person called Alex which I appreciated.

I needed to transport a very heavy cooker immediately. Get Removals provided, speed and efficiency, exactly what I needed. Two very professional men lifted a very heavy cooker with humour, charm and aplomb. Highly recommended service.
