I want to cancel my membership. On 27th June 2024, I spoke to someone online to cancel my membership, and they did it for me but there's a 14 day cancellation period, but within the 14day period of cancelling I got charged again €44, which I wasnt happy about, so I went back online to spoke to someone, and asked them why I was charged again even those I've cancelled my membership, I thought if you cancelled something it should be cancelled and you shouldn't be charged more, but yesterday on 30th june 2024 I got an email from someone called Violet from Escalation Team saying that In light of this situation, we have taken the necessary steps to cancel the subscription, and as a gesture of goodwill, I am pleased to offer you a full refund of the membership fees. While it is not our standard practice to process refunds, I recognize the confusion that occurred in this instance, and I believe this refund is warranted to demonstrate our commitment to making things right for you.

Prompt service resolving issues by Jeremy in a polite courteous manner

I originally thought I was ordering a garden storage bench for a great price via an advert on Facebook. However having ordered. filled in the delivery address and paid I found that actually I had signed up for membership of a site I had never heard of and further payments would be taken. My email saying I had tried to order a bench not join anything was swiftly answered and membership cancelled but I was told the initial payment could not be refunded. I was assured the advert had nothing to do with the site I ended up signed up to although I have seen it since! Yesterday I received an email saying that if I posted a 4 or 5 star review my initial membership fee would be refunded. Hence this review.
