I did not have much enough experience with the GetForGift as I was I had no knowledge of what I signed up for in the first place. But through research and some inquiry via Chatbot I came to understand a bit more what it’s all about. Nevertheless I would the to appreciate your escalation team for reaching out and solving my case. Thank you so much looking forward to a positive outcome.

FRAUDSTERS!!!!!!, took money from my account without signing up for their services. Avoid at all costs

The team went above and beyond to ensure an issue I experienced was resolved and in a timely manner.

Had a mix up with subscription post a special that was run and GetforGift was very responsive and Eric was very helpful in resolving it.

Scam. FRAUDLENT ACTIVITY
I was signed up for GETFORGIFT.COM without my knowledge or consent when I went online to purchase a swimming pool for 49.99 from a company called Lowell Schoen through shopify. At the point of me authorising payment on my bank app for the swimming pool I was transferred to getforgift.com telling me that I had signed up for their membership program. I hadn’t signed up for this. Needless to say I was furious. I never received a confirmation email for my purchase of my swimming pool. I emailed getforgift.com to cancel this unauthorised membership. I then looked at the company Lowell Schoen on the original ad for the swimming pool. The contact phone number does not exist and when you email them the email address is non existent. I contacted my bank on 30th July as £43.43 was pending from my account. They said they could not stop the payment as I had to give it 15 days to allow time for my purchase to materialise. When the money finally was taken from my account I contacted the bank again as I feared getforgift would try and take more money for their scam membership program. My bank blocked any further withdrawals and cancelled my card. I finally emailed Getforgift and explained that I had never signed up for their membership program and I wished to cancel a membership I had never signed up for. I received an email from Jenny from their customer support team. The first thing she commented on was that they do not act in any fraudulent activities. She said that I had authorised my membership which was incorrect. She then said that as a goodwill gesture after consulting with her manager they would refund my money. I received my refund into my bank account the following day. Get for Gift can deny any fraudulent activity on their site but when I was innocently buying a swimming pool on a site to be then transferred over to their site after you have paid and given your details what was expected for your original purchase then they cannot deny that they are acting in a fraudulent way.

Nothing went right!! I will NEVER use them again.

Scam!! Avoid or be robbed

Tried to order a garden storage box for 49.99. Ended up with this crap website and a voucher for pet supplies. All a load of crap. Alerted my bank. Shocking and disgusting

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company.

In June 2025, I was misled into what appeared to be a small, one-time purchase of €2 through a social media ad. Nowhere was it clearly stated that I was signing up for a recurring subscription. I received no confirmation, no login credentials, no access to any platform, and no explanation of what I had supposedly subscribed to.

Within days, I was charged €65 – not once, but twice, for so-called “Top-Ups” I never asked for, and could never use because I didn’t even have an account or login.

I had to chase their support multiple times before they refunded one of the €65 charges as a so-called "commercial gesture" – not because they took responsibility for their misleading practices.

This is deliberate deception, and in my opinion, borders on fraud. They hide behind vague Terms & Conditions no one ever agreed to, and make cancellation and refunds unnecessarily difficult.

Avoid this company at all costs.
If you’ve been affected, report them to your local consumer authority – these practices are illegal under EU consumer protection law.

Paula was quick and informative with communication. Now I'm just hoping for the refund of a double membership that was deducted - this was a membership that I did not sign up for and will appreciate if it can be refunded as quick as possible. Thank You

A customer-focused team, in response to my complaint, they took all necessary measures and carefully reviewed my case to give me the best solution.

Signed up for membership without my permission from a promotional purchase online, charged me membership fee's for a service I did not ask and then said "non refundable" finally got an advisor to promise a refund within "7-10 days" I await the outcome and would advise others to steer clear.

I have now been charged an extra fee for "cancelling the account" you couldn't make this lunacy up.

Now had a request from getforgift asking for more information and stating that without it they can't see if my experience is genuine, this is just a dumb and ridiculous ploy to attempt to deny my review, I refuse to engage any further with them.

I have now been contacted by the company and asked to remove the review with the offer of a full refund if I do remove it, this is not going to happen as this would be disingenuous at best.

Customer service was quick to respond and eager to resolve my issue.

Customer support response is very active, em satisfied with the services
