Horrible customer service, never received the product

I ordered a canopy humidifier and never received it. Each time I contacted customer service they just kept telling me to keep waiting (and it seemed like AI not an actual person). When I finally was able to get through to someone (after having submitted a search for lost mail), they agreed that the package was lost, told me to submit a lost mail claim (which I had already done), and said after the lost mail search was complete they would “take care of” me. It’s been over a month and a half and I still don’t have the humidifier, but they did try to charge me for a filter that I had subscribed to when I bought the humidifier. Since the company was so unresponsive, I ended up filing a chargeback with my bank. The customer service agent even told me they couldn’t contact the post office because they don’t have a phone…what!?

DON'T BUY THE HUMIDIFIERS

DON'T BUY THE HUMIDIFIERS! I got mine, filled it and it smells like cheap plastic rotting when the air comes out, They have zero direct customer service, I emailed them and their reply is to wait 1-2 days for a response. I also tried to cancel my subscription for the filters and they don't let you! There is literally no cancel button, even though in their instructions to cancel they show a cancel button, but on my page it's not there! See screen shot! SCAMMERS for real! $145 for a cheap plastic gross device

I have purchased two filtered showerheads..

I have purchased two filtered showerheads in the last year and a half. I also subscribed to the filter replacement plan to receive new filters regularly. One of the two showerheads leaks badly, diminishing pressure. I asked for replacement but warranty for a replacement is ONLY IF YOU PURCHASE FILTER AND AROMA strips subscription. I cancelled my subscription and discovered the functional showerhead works just fine with no filter. I'll use up what I have and switch the second one when it fails. Huge quality issues!

Sends an empty box and then dragging feet on refund

I ordered a showerhead and the company just send me an empty box (they use SpeedX which is evidently known for this). And now its been a weeks long process to get my money back, they're dragging their feet and keep switching the customer service agent (sign of outsourcing to a cheap low quality customer service company). At this point I'll probably just chargeback and move on.

My review of a full line of purchased Canopy products

Update: After the company has had the returned items (two they had me send UPS and one via USPS) for several days to a week, only one of the items has been refunded. So I am downgrading their review to one star. Also, they are less than forthright with their communications overall; there should be some notice that the other two items were received (I have tracking information to show proof they were accepted at their company) and what the process is for refunding the monies since they are not the same it seems for each product.

I had purchased the shower head and handheld shower attachment combo, the travel portable humidifier and the scent diffuser from this company. I can honestly say that each and every one of these products has had issues. First the diffuser gave off a plastic like smell that overpowered any of the scents they provided and directed to diffuse. The travel humidifier worked okay for several weeks and then just started leaking water profusely. I contacted the company on both issues as they happened, alerting them to the problems and they offered to exchange them for the same units. They did not say that these problems were defects. With the diffuser, they said the smell would diminish with time - I gave it weeks and it was still strong. With the humidifier, they told me that it was normal and that I had to let the unit fully dry out after an unknown number of uses. How many? Who knows. I told them that I was not happy as that does not allow you to use the device nightly - right now the unit is still "drying out" and has condensation in places I cannot reach even after 24 hours of sitting with it components first hand dried and then left to air dry fully disassembled. Seems like a major design flaw to me. I had not installed the purchased shower head and handheld accessory as I had another company's unit installed and its filter was still active and good. However, given all the issues with the Canopy pieces so far, I took both out of the box this morning to examine. I first found the shower head component face did not spring off as directed, so this will make changing the filter almost impossible when that is needed. Given that additional defect, I did not even open the box with the handheld piece. I had thought I exceeded the return timeframe window, but was offered the chance to return all the products. For that, I do give them a thumbs up and the 3 stars above. As the other reviews here seem to say, perhaps the products need further design improvements before they would be recommended for purchase.

Canopy Humidifiers Mold w/No Way to Clean

I was an early supporter of Canopy and purchased two humidifiers through Sephora. Despite following all care instructions, both developed mold. I reached out to Canopy, provided photos, and offered to return the products for inspection.

Because I can’t locate the receipt (Sephora doesn’t retain orders beyond 2 years), Canopy refuses to provide a full replacement. Their final offer was 50% off new units—unacceptable for a health risk to my young children.

The customer service experience has been dismissive, and it’s clear the brand isn’t standing behind the long-term quality it advertises.
