It charged a small fee to locate my father's mobile that I needed to track urgently because he got lost by car. It did not work. In an emergency situation this is unethical and a complete rip off.

Led to believe I was paying a few £ to locate a lost mobile, which it did not locate, but it turned out I had been charged £133 and it's a reoccurring payment. Absolutely rip off.

misera truffa
Hello,
Thank you for your message,
It works on all phone types, networks and countries. geosat.mobi allows to track the current position of a person that has consented to be tracked.
The Service allows an SMS to be sent to the recipient to tell them that someone wants to know their location. If the recipient of the message expressly accepts, the recipient's geoposition at that specific moment is shared with the requesting party.
With best wishes

Avoid this site
I paid 0.95c to locate my wife's phone when she misplaced it. It failed to find it but we did. A week later they tried to charge me €149.99. My bank flagged it and refused the transaction. Well done Revolut. Avoid this site.

Don't use this
Don't use this, absolute rip off, charge 90p for a service that doesn't work then try to make you pay monthly subscription for over £100, and then can't contact them to cancel subscription
Probably easier to speak to god
Scam, 82p for a week then £70 a month.Which you didn't agree to but will find it easier to get a surgen to sow up your bottom ..So really don't do it.
The location was 100 yards away yet the phone was under my bed at home.
Yes I feel like comple pillock, please don't make the same mistake.
bad company to deal with
i used this company to track a telephone in USA.
no info received, A small fee was charged and then 7 days later 149.99 euros was taken from my account without telling me,, i had been put into a bimonthly subscription service with my card. The web site would not let me log into it to cancel my subscription but no joy, i emailed customer services to cancel but no reply, I have blocked my bank card now otherwise this company would carry on taking money from my account, NOT a good company to deal with i am afraid, worst i have come across, not worth one star in my opinion.
NO ENTRES ES UNA ESTAFA!!!!!
SCAM!!
SCAM!!!
Keep away, first this "service" doesn't work and later this fraudsters will misuse your card details to steal from you!
Total scam
Total scam. Take 0.79 euro after confirming have located your lost phone then no fulfilment and a week later take 79 euro from credit card. Have reported and only wish I had checked before being sucked in.
Geo net mobi is a scam
Geo net mobi is a scam. They will invoice you for a payment of £1.00:per month but after 48 hours increase that to £34.00 per month and that payment is from your card so not evident on your standing orders or direct debits. Avoid this company.
You should be ashamed
You should be ashamed. Mobile was not located. Only you've sent the same message like I did 'please bring this phone back to .....' Later on you took 49.95€ from my account. I hope your company one day will disappear and sentenced by a Court : cheaters
+++Attention!!!+++ Don't use this…
+++Attention!!!+++ Don't use this service, it's a scam. They didn't find the phone I was searching for. On top of that they charged me with 49,95€ for one month with a 3 month subscription. Do not give them your payment details!!!++++++
I used this company to try and find a…
I used this company to try and find a friends lost phone but as he was unable to give permission for access to his phone as it was lost they could not help , l had paid €0.95 and was prepared to right that off.
I had not realised that l had agreed to a seven day trial and then l would be charged €49.95 bimonthly until l saw the money come out off my account .
I emailed the company explaining what had happened and l was very pleasantly surprised to get a quick response saying in good faith they would refund the full amount , which l have now received back
I was thinking that this could have been a scam company but have changed my mind and feel this company is legitimate and honest
Unsubscribe trap
Definitely feels like a scam. System itself didn’t work. Unsubscribe button didn’t work either so I emailed them straightaway and received an automated reply stating they would respond within 2 working days. 5working days later they charged me 49€ - I had been in Spain at the time.
I note that there are a suspiciously large number of 5* reviews on this site, nearly all of which are from reviewers who have only submitted on review. Everything else is a 1*. No doubt after this review, another large number of 5* reviews will appear. Trading standards will be my next step if they do not refund my subscription
You CANNOT locate your lost phone…
You CANNOT locate your lost phone unless someone picks it up and accepts the text message. So if you have lost it somewhere that there is not a good Samaritan then this service simply does not work at all. If I have lost my phone, surely a text to it should tell me even the rough location without further interaction or action from my lost phone. It is also incredibly difficult to cancel despite what the website suggests. Nowhere on the dashboard is there a cancel button. The help page takes you to a 404. However, once you have worked out that the unsubscribe on the main page is the one you are looking for then it works.
Excellent Service and genuine company
Like some other reports about this company I was initially charged £0.95 which I thought was a one off payment and a few days later debited £49.95 for a subscription I didn’t want. As I check my bank account daily I found this payment sitting in the pending file and checked the company out on line.
After reading the “scam” reports on GeoSat I googled them to obtain an email address and sent them an email on Aug 30 asking for the payment to be cancelled or refunded.
On Aug 31 three things happened almost simultaneously.
1/ Payment was debited to my account.
2/ Email from the company said they would refund me and cancel subscription.
3/ Payment was credited to my account leaving zero balance.
Well done GeoSat, excellent service.
Fraud or Scam?
I used their service to locate a lost phone. It was able to find it. I paid for the information. I was taken back to their enter phone number page with the option to pay again. I found their email with login details. I logged in. No search history, only the option to search and pay again. I called their number on their website, invalid. I emailed them, no response. I have reported them to Trading Standards. This is low level fraud.
Update: They attempted to charge my account £49.95 (two days after they failed to do anything) for an account I never signed up for, nor agreed to create. Fortunately I had used a cash card rather than a debit card.
