I recently used the George Fraser garage for the first time and was very pleased with the service. They managed to schedule me in at short notice and fix my car within a morning. I dealt primarily with George himself, who is clearly devoted to his business. The team were transparent about what was happening, the costs and estimated completion time throughout.

Fantastic service from the team, Paul was really helpful with options around the service and the price was extremely good. Smooth experience from start to finish, car was picked up, good communication throughout, later dropped off with all the service documents and detailed receipt. Will be back!

I used George Frazer of Uxbridge a couple of months ago for my S Class. Asked for a vehicle diagnostic to see if there are any relevant codes to diagnose shuddering on cold start and ABS error popping up twice. I specifically mentioned that just need the diagnostic and no parts changed. Also an oil and filter change (using my parts and oil) so the oil change is recorded on the vehicle's digital service history.

Agreed prices was £65 for the diagnostic and £45 for the oil change which seemed reasonable.

Got a call the vehicle is ready and a bill of £400. Apparently, they changed a wheel speed sensor (£135) and there was additional charge which wasn't mentioned when I dropped the car off of £140 for half an hour road test. I find this very unprofessional, what if it was a £2000 part, would they change it without asking the customer first?

I wouldn't be writing this review if, at minimum, the initially requested work was done as expected. The vehicle shuddering was back literally as soon as I left the garage and on top of that they said they can't update the digital Mercedes service history as the service wasn't full and no inspection was performed. None of this was mentioned when I dropped off the car.

Since then I took the car to a smaller independent Mercedes garage, the shuddering was fixed (apparently some turbo seals) and the service history updated as expected. All for almost half the price of what George Frazer charged me for literally not fixing or doing anything.

Wouldn't recommend this garage.

Absolutely fantastic experience from the second I rang up to the minute I left the garage. Had an issue with my NOX sensor which Mercedes themselves were super unprofessional about. George Fraser kindly booked me in as soon as a slot was available. Informed me how long it would take so I could plan it around my day. Arrived at the garage and was greeted and my paperwork was already ready. The sensor was fitted and coded within a couple of hours and now my engine light has cleared. Can’t thank them enough. Will certainly be going back for my service in the coming months. Thank you George Fraser and team!

I am a repeat customer of George Fraser Mercedes in Uxbridge London and can say that they really are a leader in Greater London for Mercedes. Not only they have the Mercedes specialist expertise dating 30 - 40 years back to the 1980s, but their communications, customer care and everything else, I can't commend them highly enough. I have a classic Mercedes (renowned as the most overengineered luxury car), and from the first phone calls with the two SMT directors-team, I could tell that they listen, care, are very polite, are upfront and honest, and they fixed the serious issue that my car had (gearbox not working) with top quality work, and even the price was more than reasonable. As a woman customer, I also value the fact that as of when I last visited, they had a female-only toilet. I'd go to them again for Mercedes cars.
