First time using this service , checked reviews and all seemed good. Booked insurance online , then contacted via chat using watts app and spoke with jet and ricardo. Both were awesome and responded quickly and answered all my questions . Only feedback I would give is to business into system the ability to book to a specific end date as could be easy to forget to cancel and be charged when insurance e is not required but otherwise excellent app and staff arrive was top notch

We did the traveler insurance for 3 months in Brazil and it worked great. Had a small emergency and ended up in the hospital, and the claim and payment process was pretty smooth and quick. Will definitely be using them again for future international travels.

I've been using Genki Explorer for more than a year but until recent times hadn't made any claims.

However, recently I got sick in Thailand and decided to visit a doctor. I just found the one with best reviews on Google Map and headed there.

Got diagnosed, prescribed antibiotics and other medication. The bill was ~220 EUR. At the same day I've filed the claim with Dr Walter and upload documents from the clinic.

Just after 8 days my claim was approved for ~170 EUR (because of 50 EUR deductible). They just approved it right away, without unnecessary questions or delays – a big plus.

But payment process took much longer. They answered sometimes once per week, first sent me a Revolut form with bank details even if I told them to transfer to my Wise. After Revolut form didn't work out, after few weeks they reached out again and asked for Wise payment link.

The entire process took almost 2 months and many back-and-forth emails but finally they paid it. So happy to recommend them, these guys are legit.

Our family was insured for over a year, and we had one instance where we required the insurance's assistance. The insurance was very responsive and very helpful, covered the entire hospitalization, and we will be happy to return once we start our travels again.

I bought health insurance with Genki. It was mid-range coverage and was easy to sign up for and cancel. I never had to use it, thankfully; however, I am not sure how easy it is to claim.

I don't write many reviews. I am beyond impressed with the service Genki offers. I've used other insurance companies in the past, and the claims process is long-winded; it almost puts you off claiming.

My experience with Genki has been the complete opposite. I uploaded my medical reports and bills, and within minutes, the claim was processed and paid.

Genki has been amazing! Always reliable, safe and sweet customer support. I’ve been unlucky in Thailand with cysts and my partner with dengue and liver issues. They were the ones saying rather stay one day extra that not. It feels like they genuinely care. ❤️ always the insurance I will go with.

I have twice used Genki for covering medical emergencies during my overseas travels. Both travels lasted at least 9 months.

I have not made any claims during those travels, so I do not have any direct personal experience dealing with what happens if there is a claim. However, all dealings with Genki at least up to the point to needing to file claims has been excellent. I appreciate the responsiveness and clarity in communicating with Genki. I also appreciate the coverage: it gives me some peace of mind while on my travels.

Overoll I had a positive experience using this insurance for my travel.
I didn't have big claims, only the small ones, but it worked well.
The only reason I decided to move on with another insurance is the price. I asked them to add US/Canada coverage to my plan, and they said it would cost 168 € for one person. Another insurance is 2 times cheaper.

It was so easy to file the claim, took less than 15 minutes and then in two days the money was in my account! This is how insurance should work, I never had such a seamless painless experience, bravo!! Amazing insurance company!
