This is the second time I have purchased railings from this company. They are a delight to do business with from the start to the fitting nothing is too much trouble for the. Dean came out to measure and although I changed my mind with the design a couple of times he was always helpful. The fitters were fabulous, worked well and were very clean and tidy. Would certainly recommend this company 10/10.

A fantastic company to deal with. Dean and Joy have been amazing with advice and communications. The railings were delivered on time and are beautifully made. I highly recommend this family business over any of the larger mass produced companies out there.

From my initial call with Dean, I felt confident I was dealing with the right company for my specific needs. He offered me great advice, despite my constant stream of questions. Unfortunately, the gate and railings were delivered damaged (not their fault) and I fully expected the usual "well they left our factory in perfect condition" excuse. Instead, I received assurances that GRD would both collect and repair at their cost and that they were more than happy to help. They recently delivered the gate and railings in perfect condition, even taking the opportunity to powder coat again. I have nothing but praise for their fantastic customer service; both helpful and accommodating. Thank you GRD - I'm so grateful to you for keeping my stress levels to a minimum! I would recommend you in an instant!

Quality is great. It is always difficult to feel 100% confident when ordering something bespoke which is of high value, when the measurements need to be 100% accurate. Nonetheless, everything worked out and the rails look a treat. The price changed mid-way through the process, that was my only gripe but, again, the quality is super

Some near neighbours recommended GRD to us as offering an exemplary service and that is what we received from the whole GRD team. We showed them images of a small section of railings still standing while all the rest had long been replaced by an inappropriate and now rotting timber wicket fence. They closely matched the existing railings profile and carefully assessed the very tricky installation, discussing options as they worked out possibilities to circumvent some concrete foundations to the house and decaying edging brickwork. Their friendly, helpful and consistent communications with us, clear guidance and scheduling has resulted not only in fine quality, handsome and much admired powder-coated reinstatement of the railings but also a great improvement in the overall appearance of our old cottage. They removed the old fence and cleaned all the debris from the site. Thoroughly recommended!

Excellent product, millimetre perfect to fit slightly different sized gaps between brick pillars and very well priced for the premium quality. Installed they look a cut above others. Great service. Wanted a hand rail that would be a snug fit against some steps and, after sending a few photos and some measurements, they came up with a design. The rail was made and delivered super quickly and then they were very generous with help and advice for the installation, suggesting fittings, drill bit sizes and techniques. Ended up with a bespoke hand rail for less than an off-the-shelf rail that wouldn't have fitted properly. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Dean and the team at GRD were very easy to deal with. Were happy to provide quotes for several solutions I was looking at and also arranged for installation taking that stress away from me as well.
As I ordered at the start of December there was a slightly extended wait but they were upfront about that before I placed the order.
The railing is fantastic, looks good and is robust. I’d happily recommend GRD to anyone looking at them.

We provided stencilled templates for a curved railing along with a number of straight railing and gate. Our specification called for Gates Railings Direct products, they made the process extremely easy, and for a reasonable additional cost provided installation of hoop top rail and a maintenance gate on the site. The installer sent by Gates Railings Direct was very professional, got the job done on time and to a high standard.
