Tyler made the experience very quick and easy. It was my first time buying a car from a dealership and the process was made very straight forward. The constant communication was perfect and made everything painless

Great purchase experience!!!

Over the weekend myself and my wife visited gates in Woodford looking to purchase a new car. We was greeted by Tyler who showed us the cars we was interested in and let us have a look around. We then picked out one we liked and Tyler ran through all the specs and details of the car. Tyler was extremely helpful and was not pushy at all as we had recently looked elsewhere prior to visiting Ford and had a very bad experience however, i must say Tyler made our car purchase extremely smooth and enjoyable and we would definitely go back when we next decide to upgrade. Highly recommend!!

Great service

I saw Ryan and he helped me find a new car really easily and quickly. He was such a nice guy and so helpful. I told him what I wanted and he found it. IF ford decide to go back to making fiestas I will definitely be going back to get another from Ryan. Thank you

Our experience with Gates of Waltham…

Our experience with Gates of Waltham Cross has been profoundly disappointing and distressing. We purchased a vehicle with the hope of reliability and quality, only to face significant gearbox issues with just 23,000 miles on the odometer. This is utterly unacceptable for a car of such low mileage.

Despite returning the car to their workshop for the second time, we have received no updates on the status of the repairs or the provision of a courtesy car, both of which were promised. The complete lack of communication has inflicted considerable inconvenience and stress upon us, as we rely heavily on this vehicle for our daily commute to work.

The gravity of this situation cannot be overstated. We placed our trust in Gates of Waltham Cross and Ford as a brand, expecting exceptional service and dependability. Instead, we have been met with subpar quality and a concerning disregard for customer satisfaction.

This ordeal has left us extremely dissatisfied, and we implore Gates of Waltham Cross to take immediate and decisive action to resolve these issues. Our trust in the brand has been severely shaken, and we hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering doing business with this dealership.

Ford Gates drained battery …

I have had a service plan with Ford Gates for over 8 years for my 12 year old focus diesel estate. Yesterday I took it for a service and MOT and paid £350 for a few items. I was recommended all sorts of extras, and they advised me that the heath check had shown low battery. For the last 12 months my car has started every single day without fail and is kept on a driveway. Upon collecting my car it wouldn't start. The service man Paolo jump started it and after lots of revving I drove away. 2 miles up the road I parked up and it wouldn't restart. I called Gates St Albans and spoke to Pat who was very insistent that it was my fault as I had been advised my battery was low, and had declined a new one. I tried to explain that up until that day I had never had an issue with starting my car, and suggested they had done something to drain it and make it flat. All the other suggested "fixes" would have run into £1000's and my car is only worth £3K now. I think its extremely dodgy that a perfectly healthy engine goes into a garage and the next day you can't drive it??? How do I know what has gone on under the bonnet - but one day my car works, next day it doesn't!!? Pat didn't like me suggesting they drained it or swapped it, but what else am I supposed to think. Really upset with the after care - but not Paolos fault.

10/10 service from ryan brown

10/10 service from ryan brown, I walked down to the dealer on the day of my current ford focus breaking down. I was greeted by ryan on the forecourt within minutes of me arriving so I was not left waiting. Ryan listened to my questions and immediately pulled up the details of the exact car that matched my needs. This was signed for on the same day and collected a few days later! Hand over was perfect and the car is a dream, can't thank ryan enough for coming in on day off to personally hand over and to top the whole experience ryan made my family feel welcome and was very chatty with my 4 year old whilst remaining professional and continuing to work.

Want a car? Look no further than Ryan Brown!

We recently bought our third car from Ryan Brown at Gates Woodford and, as usual we were in receipt of first class treatment from him! He makes the whole process seamless from start to finish, keeps you up to date with everything that is happening and ensures you are comfortable with all your decisions at all times. He is an absolute joy to work with and a real credit to Ford. We simply won’t ever go to anyone else to buy a car!

Bought a Ford mustang GT in July 2024…

Bought a Ford mustang GT in July 2024 at Gates of Stevenage cost of car 26k on leaving the dealership everything seemed ok then air conditioning compressor failed then engine management light came on..this was all reported on day of purchase I couldn’t take it back to the dealer as was on route to Scotland I took the car in to trust Ford Aberdeen were they found the car needed a new catalytic converter and air conditioning compressor repair costs over £4000 Ford warranty are not honouring the claim because they said GATES sold the car with known faults the car as been at trust Ford Aberdeen for over a month no progress Gates of Stevenage said they will repair the car if I take it back to Stevenage from Aberdeenshire at my expense all so the car was sold with just 3.2 3.4 of tread on the back tyres I cannot recommend GATES main Ford dealer as they really sold me a lemon and have done everything in there power to avoid repairing the car they sold me

Best Christian Dating app so far...

I recently bought a new car from Ryan at Gates of Woodford. He was excellent from start to finish, finding the right car for me and my family. No pressure for us to take something that wasn't quite right.

There were a few minor things wrong with the car cosmetically which he went above and beyond to fix for me before we collected it. I would highly recommend Ryan as a salesperson.

I have recently purchased a lovely ford fiesta from gates harlow and highly recommend the salesman john booth ge was very professional explained every detail and helped me find the best finance options nothing was too much trouble the car is beautiful to drive and was spotless wen I picked it up would highly recommend fords harlow for quality cars even used which is what I purchased and fantastic customer service.

Great experience.

My second time seeing Ryan Brown @ Gates Woodford. He is a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating in answering my 1001 questions about things I know nothing about!

Fantastic experience at Gates, St Albans
