I bought a Yaxell Ran Knife set with Block, a ChefChoice's Electric Sharpener and some oven mitts.

The knives had remained sharp so I haven't had the chance to test out the Sharpener. And I haven't had to use the oven yet to test out the mitts.

I'm super happy with the Yaxell and glad I made the leap of faith to purchase it from Gastrobutikken.

There was a bit of pre-sales correspondence that took a while, as I'm ordering from outside Denmark. So you may need to be a little patient but they usually responded within a day.

The Knife set was 15-20% cheaper than the cheapest place in The Netherlands even with shipping costs, the extra savings I also got from the Electric Knife Sharpener made it a no brainer deal for me.

The fact that they were happy to sell outside Denmark and the surprisingly cheaper prices mean that I will always check at Gastrobutikken first to see if I can get it cheaper here.

Terrible experience.

Found the single use plastic aprons I needed for corona-virus protection and called to make sure they were in stock. Was told two packs were in stock and they would be dispatched that day. Delivery times was 1-3 days and after 3 days called to follow up on the order. Was told they had been sent to another customer. Had to cancel the order.

Now we have lost 5 days (incl weekend) and have to start over. This company didn't do what it promised to do and didn't even send an email or call to let us know they had made a mistake. Overall awful service. Zero stars.

Now we don't have the protective equipment we need for tomorrow. Pathetic company.
