They kept saying be patient but nothing changed. I was only helped by the company you see in my profile.
I ordered the HR and Forerunner 970. It said 1-3 days shipping. It has been 12 days and still nothing. I sent emails without response.
I will raise a fraud case with the credit card company as this item is not delivered or even sent.

Overall, I’m disappointed with this watch, despite its high-end positioning (USD 950). Positives: sleek design, stunning AMOLED display, excellent battery life, and a wealth of metrics. However, two major issues stand out:
(1) Nap detection only works sporadically (around 30% of the time).
(2) The heart rate sensor is unreliable in certain conditions. It becomes inaccurate in cold or rainy weather, and highly inaccurate in cold water (below 17°C), which completely skews performance data during activities like surfing or open-water swimming.
This negatively affects not just activity tracking, but also recovery metrics, intensity minutes, acute training load, and training status (readiness).
For comparison, my previous Garmin watch (Venu 2S) performed better under these same conditions—despite being significantly less expensive. In short: a promising watch on paper, but surprising hardware limitations for this price point. I do not recommend it.
I have a couple of Garmin and they are very good devices when they work! However, do not expect any satisfaction or help from customer support if things go wrong! Currently have a fenix watch which is only a couple of years old, went blind last week and I’ve just been told that it is no longer being made and is now redundant, here is a 30% voucher for a new watch (at least £800).
Total joke, for a variety of reasons and they think that they are a ecologically friendly company! Greenwashing and terrible customer service
I need to warn others about my nightmarish experience with Garmin. I'm currently dealing with my SECOND defective Venu Sq, and the situation is beyond frustrating.
The core issue is simple: the GPS tracking - the watch's primary function - doesn't work. At all. Ever. Not in open spaces, not in cities, nowhere. Every other GPS watch I own works perfectly fine in identical conditions, which makes this even more infuriating.
The customer service situation is equally problematic. I've been trapped in an endless email exchange for months (my latest email thread has SIXTEEN "Re:" in the subject line). Despite having a 12-month warranty and providing clear evidence of the defect, we're making zero progress.
What's particularly concerning is that this is a recertified unit that supposedly passed quality control, yet both watches I received had the exact same defect. At this point, I just want a refund, but even this simple request seems impossible to process.
The 1-star rating on Trustpilot now makes perfect sense to me. Save yourself from this experience - the combination of defective products and ineffective customer service isn't worth the risk
I recently purchased a Garmin Approach Z30 rangefinder, and while the device itself works well, I was very disappointed with the quality of the case. After just a few rounds, the case started showing signs of damage. Concerned about this, I contacted Garmin’s customer service, hoping for a quick resolution.
Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. It took a week just to receive an initial response, where they asked me to send a photo of the damage. I promptly sent the photo, only to receive an automated email a few days later, asking for feedback on my problem's resolution—which hadn't even begun. This was frustrating, as nothing had been done to address my issue.
Another week went by before I received another email, again asking me to send a photo of the damage. This repetitive back-and-forth with no real progress was extremely disappointing. I expected better service from a company with Garmin’s reputation. I had planned to purchase the Garmin Approach S70 and CT10 sensors, but after this experience, I’m reconsidering my decision.
Their customer service is almost non existent.
Garmin Descent mk2 dive computer sudden shut down during a dive! It was almost 100% battery. No help from Garmin support. Now I have bought a Shearwater. And it is the best dive computer in the world.
Never buy a Garmin!
Problem with Garmin Edge 830 equipment GPS for cycling performance measuring equipment.
The barometric sensor is of poor quality. Altitude display becomes false affecting the slope calculation, only 2.5 years after I bought it, just out of waranty. Poor garmin performance. Do not recommand Garmin.
Problème avec le capteur barométrique Garmin Edge 830, compteur GPS de vélo. Capteur très fragile, hors service juste après les 2 ans de garantie. Fragilité du capteur pour un compteur vélo de ce prix. Ne recommande pas Garmin.
